Batocera v39/40 Switch Emulation Yuzu SuYu Fix

After updating from v38 or lower, you have to run the switch updater.
This will remove yuzu due to recent events.
You will need to download the below zip file, extract and save them somewhere you can copy/paste them into
Share/system/switch.
I saved them on the fat32 partition for easy access.
I had to reinstall my bios as I used a clean card, you may/may not need to do this.
This will replace Yuzu Main Line with Suyu and re-add Yuzu EA.
I would for now set your default emulator to YuzuEA
If you have not installed the emulators before.
F1/application/xterm and run the below command.
curl -L switch.batocera.pro | bash
I WILL NOT PROVIDE THE FIRMWARE OR KEYS!! DO NOT ASK!!

I made it working but i have a coule of questions.
After installing successfully keys and firmware in Yuzu, i can't do the same in YuzuEA. I use the very same firmware as for Yuzu but it says "Unable to locate firmware NCA files".
I choose YuzuEA as default emulator in ES and it works anyway.
But when launching Switch updater, for YUZU and YUZU-EA i get "Checksum fail.
Should i be worried about it ?

yuzu and ryujinx are ridiculously not working in the batocera interface. But when I enter from F1 and applications, the emulator works, I don't understand what the problem is. Can someone help?
i have the firmware files in the right directory but suyu keeps complaining that theres no nca files
You need a title and prod key also. Go into the app manually and add them if it doesn't detect them.

Awesome video. I do have one question though, do you know how to link up the saved games files once you change the folder directory?
This is something I'm looking into, yuzuea works as it should but suyu doesn't, I think the configgen will need editing from yuzu to suyu, will take a look at the weekend and update the link with the latest suyu build.

@boobooman1982 I am using your arcade punk iso 1tera for pc 38v for a while. But after update I lost the sound in my rog ally x. I have access to batocera.conf etc but I dont know how fix it . Can you help me ?
Hey, I did exatcly as stated and when I start yuzu from f1 files i cans ee all the games. But when I want to do swith update it says yuzu chechsm fail and it wont add it to "front end" of batocera?
@rrnaBo yes it will fail the checksum as it's suyu not yuzu, but after that it should run for ES as normal.

Go into the application via f1 and add YOUR keys and firmware.

I bought 2.4G Wireless Joystick which one USB RX 2 Gamepad TX , but in batocera only check 1 Gamepad , how to fix it ?

my games run in the EmulatioStation only for the RyuJINX-AVALON, if i use yuzu the game not run, for the yuzu run only to the apps , when i prees F1 ....whatts wrong whith my yuzu?

@trapkashi that's fine, it's part of the new update, it checks the md5 of yuzu which is now suyu so they don't match
Just tried it and it works like a charm! Only problem is the controller isn't working I changed the controller map through the config

But, how to play new games like MK1, Naurto x Boruto, etc.? Here they say missing firmware (other games like FightersZ opens normalyl). I'm using the latest firmware (17.0.1).
Does it show your fw in the bottom right of yuzu? I'm using 17.0 and not had any issues, I don't even any games even need anyway higher than 17 right now

I tested Torzu a couple of weeks back, you get a Zulkun error, and the gpu isn't detected. This has now gone private and no longer releasing complied releases so I doubt this will be fixed, sudachi refuses to complie an appimage and I have no intentions of learning how too at this time as other than a couple minor gains over suyu and a couple more over the last yuzuEA release there isn't much improvement.

What part? It isn't difficult! Download the file, stick them in the folder, run the updater, done.
@boobooman1982 I got it working. I do have a problem though. How do you exit from playing the games? Mine will not boot back to ES.
@@tobyhorath8284this seems to happen randomly, the quickest fix is try remapping your controls from the main menu and see if it fixes it.
I have a similar problem. I can go back to the ES, but the game stays in the background. It happens all the time.
