They're putting a hold on all accounts. If you pass the challenge you'll be put on hold. It's not coming back! Lovely 🎉 I enjoyed every bit of this video! I lost my first funded FTMO in Jan 2022. Nonetheless I was still paid even when I violated the daily drawdown! Cudos to FTMO, something I couldn't get with some other prop firm coz with them once you violate the rules, you won't get a penny of the profits you made😮 and two years down the lane am now funded once again. This one am taking it slow like my life depends on it. And lastly am no longer employed and loving it. I'm a proud day trader 🎉🎉
@@william3041 I trade based on the prior day's close using period separators on the H1 as price movement for most of the day is determined around this area of value at support or resistance zones.
I have already passed my 100k FTMO challenge. Now i am here in verification stage . And i only need 0.24% left to pass verification stage. After that will also be a funded trader.😮😮
@@BiblicalChristianSteve ONLY new FTMO clients are banned from buying challenges. Current US FTMO traders are okay…for now. What makes this huge problem worse is that FTMO hasn’t addressed it and given us a reason why.
Existing accounts will be put on hold. They're not ok for now. Your challenge can be passed but you will not continue on. Maybe they'll give you a refund but you will not be trading for money.@@TheBlackWolfFX

Dear FTMO, please announce to your customers that the FCA are trying to regulate you. you have banned any new USA customers, but everyone will be next. All we ask for is transparency.
...and the 6th rule, don't make too much money. Remember, FTMO is a challenge based firm, so you're paid from the fees of losing traders, not from actual realized profits from the markets.
What makes you say that? The fees paid by losing traders definitely makes a portion of FTMO's revenue, I think it somehow covers the loss of people who passed the challenge but blow their account before they make any money for FTMO. If we assume only 10% passed the challenge, and 60% of those people blow their account before the first payout. That is, for 100k accounts, 90/100 people paid 540 that will not get refunded, that's 48600 dollars. And the 6/100 lose somewhere between 5k to 10k depending on if they violate the max loss of max daily loss rule, let's make it 8k, then that's around 48000 dollars. Those two break even. And the remaining 4/100 people's 20% profits will be FTMO's profit, what's wrong with that? If what you say is true, it's really hard for FTMO to pay the winning traders, I mean, the numbers I assumed may not be accurate, but you get the idea. If FTMO does what you claim, it's very unlikely that FTMO can still exist by now, because they would've not being able to pay the winning traders payouts within a couple of months.
