Congrats on passing FTMO! Just bought my first 10K with them, and I'm excited how I will do after back testing your strategy for over 10 months. I will take a conservative approach by risking 0.5%.
It will take forever to pass rather risk 1%. I personally go for 1.5 to 2% this way if I have a winning streak I pass in 2 to 3 trades per phase. I double down on risk if I loose a trade.

I was able to take the first shorter trade for this pair. This pair has been quite profitable for me. However, this very trade that you took, I took it but closed when price went back to entry. I then made another entry from that latter swing low of your trade (the one which hit your TP level) and now it is still ongoing. I'm getting used to spotting your type of trades but the one that really needs working on is my trading psychology 🤔

Hi, thanks for watching. It's a normal FTMO account. If they need me to switch I'm sure they'll email me but I would be fine with closing before the weekends as well.

Hello Ara, thank you very much for another share of valuable information. I have been backtesting this 4H strategy with Fibonacci, and according to my tests, the win rate is approximately 50%. I know that your win rate is around 60%. Have you been making entries on timeframes smaller than H4 as shown in your older videos?
I see that you hold a normal FTMO account instead of Swing account type, in that case if u hold the trade longer , there is a high chance that during any major news announcement, you may hit TP or SL, during both the cases, you end up failing as you would be breaching the conditions!!!! So be aware of this!!

This would be my question also and I'd appreciate an response. I've noticed from the video that the account is simple FTMO and not FTMO Swing type. As I know on simple FTMO accounts you can't hold trades durring week-ends, but you hold it. Are you allowed or not? Thanks so much for your videos.

Not at all bro. I trade swing points on the 4H timeframe with my structure indicator and the settings have not changed nor has the strategy.

Well done! 🤘 I love this video because I have it exactly the same marked on my charts (of course this is due to the fact that I watched all your videos and studied your strategy). The only difference is that I didn’t have the patience to wait till full TP and with this ugly price action for a week, after the limit order has been activated, I manually closed at 1:1 profit. I didn’t have the nerve to hold the trade for long enough but what you said now in this video has printed on my mind “always remember what was the reason for entering the trade at first place”. This will deffo help me with the psychological game during trading. Thank you!
Thanks for watching. Also, it helps to just occupy your time with something else. There is no sense in manually intervening with a trade just because it's taking a long time. Just accept it for what it is.

What type of account do you have with FTMO? In order to swing (hold over night) do you not need the FTMO Swing Account - with leverage at 30x?
leverage does not matter when he takes moves big like this...
@@Majcl_ @AraKerbabian Well it may matter if he plans on trading multiple pairs at once. Plus, I believe FTMO doesn't allow holding trades over night with the non-swing account(s). I could be wrong, which is why I was hoping to get the original question answered.

He’s right tho about swing trading which is why I made the switch. I can do the same thing if not better and have a more clear picture of direction without having so much screen time. As traders the more and more experience we gain for me that came with not wanting to be on the charts all day. I only did to learn all these different things but now I have plenty of experience and a plan why stay on them ? It allowed me to breath while having a job and a relationship and animals on minimal time to get good healthy sleep. Yes we wait longer. Phycology buffer simple. Just never was able to consistently make it on the charts as a scraper/day trade and also keep a healthy mind from sleep

He most likely won’t due to his trading style now is purely focusing on the 4HR timeframe sometime checks Daily tf for bias if unsure on the the 4hr but he won’t go any lower than that due to his recent trading style change if you watch his older/earlier video he was was trading from a top down analysis but due to less stress, time spent on the charts, more profitable, etc.

Very Great swing strategy, but i have a question what if price turns only a pip or 2 away from the 71% level and move down like 50% between entry and TP, not filling the FVG and OB Is the trade still valid?
A trade is only invalidated if the SL or the TP is hit.

Hey Ara, i love your strategy, i already backtested 12 Pairs over the whole year (2023). I gained over 114% wich is insane. 🙂🙏
I just have one question to the strategy:
What is your win rate? I'm really happy with my win rate (42%), but I wonder if there's so much more potential in this strategy. Maybe I could have saved myself some trades because, for example, I wasn't concentrating on the backtesting session. I would just like to have a comparison value for my win rate. 💛

Apparently it’s not good for holding over the weekend as the market closes for more than 2 hours rather choose a swing account as it also allows for holding during news events as well just so that you are safe even during funded phase
