You make me want to go to coffee shops!
Really great sketch!! Anyway, just wanted to tell you that those things with cups on top of it is not a dishwasher, it's an espresso mechine. Thank you so much for sharing your art with us!
Hello Becky 🖐
Thank you for sharing your beautiful drawings. You're so talented, artists 🎨. Now, you're making me want to draw more. And I carry my sketchbook with me most of the time. Thank you and so much appreciated👏👍💗
Wow! Nice one video. Love for you also best wishes to you, Carry on dear. I'm rooting for you every day.
You have a great video style. The narration helps give insight into your thought process as to your decisions and how you see the scene. The picture in picture view of what you're drawing is neat too. Your art and videos are very cozy. Thanks for sharing!
Today I paint my first live sketch after watching some of your vids, thank you. Please do more video.
Thanks for the tour and tutorial! Lovely ❤️
Love your videos! You are so inspiring!
I just love your tutorials - I feel like I'm at the cafe with your sketching. Thanks also for sharing the "time stamp" at the end. The whole time I was wondering how long this sketch actually took. It's really amazing to see it all evolve and come together when you add color, through I do love the line drawings on their own.
Well done. Great demo. Thank you.
Hi Dear Becky ! So nice to see you again and join you ! I love how you document your life with so many sweet memories ! I like all the little objects and thing you manage to include in such a small space ! The detail is impressive ! Always love the finished sketch as when you add the colors it just pops to life ! Thank you once again ! I am glad that at least we can move around a bit after the strict restrictions ! Enjoy and see you again soon ! Warmest regards.... Lorraine 🥰🎨🤗🌺🌻
Thank you so much for your appreciation, Lorraine! 🥰☀️🌈💗
Thanks again Becky! I love following your videos because they draw great interest from the everyday things of life. It’s great to travel with you into Downtown Vancouver. It’s a place I’ve never been to but I have some cousins there. Hopefully one day I’ll get to visit. You mentioned that the barrister came across and took great interest in your work. Do people always react in that way? I was sketched once, in a M&S cafe in Oxford UK where I live. It made me feel self-conscious and rather uncomfortable. The artist was just sketching me not the general scene. Afterwards he came across and tried to sell me his work. I didn’t buy it because I felt he should’ve asked my permission first. Do you ever experience negative reactions like that? I love your painting style because it’s so liberating. You have freedom at the heart of everything from boldly drawing in pen to colour mixing. That makes your work so fresh and delightful.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience, Pauline. ☺️ It's actually very rare these days for people to come over and see my work, probably because of the covid restrictions. But before the pandemic, a few people came over once a while. Most of the time, I enjoy my sketching time in peace without distractions. I like to sit far away from the crowds and not being in the centre of attention.
You are really great artist Becky..I love your paint.. thanks so much for inspiring me, I learn a lot from you 🙏😍😍
Really enjoyed you getting out and finding a good subject, I think that's one of your best works.
I think myself I would have left the foreground characters unpainted but I love the way you approach where to start your sketches.
Oh my gosh what a gorgeous sketch ✍️
👍👍👍
I started to watercolor outside, and I have a question: what do you do with the water on your mixing pallette from mixing watercolor? Do you wipe it out? Or do you wait for it to dry?
Hi Kat, you can wipe the mixing area clean so the paint doesn't overflow to stain your bag. Most of the time, I use up most of the paint on the mixing area and there is no pool of paint there to flow, so I don't wipe. ☺️
