That giant bird in the thumbnail pic had really confused me!! I didnt realize it was a statue. So couldnt figure out why the bird was larger than the people in the foreground.
I love your commentaries. I WISH decades ago someone had told me that I didn't have to count all the windows in skyscrapers and make them accurate! I learned, but it took SO much longer than it needed to!
I've just found your link and I'm really enjoying your sketching/painting style. I doubt I can ever be that quick but I think a cup of coffee will be a good beginning for me as I love my coffee hot! Vancouver architecture is so.... urban.... So busy... No rest for the eyes. Just concrete and steel and glass... Maybe because there are no green leaves anywhere

The colour choices you made are very good in this urban sketches. The scenery in reality isn't very interesting in colours, more of a dull brown and grey mixture. But the sketches are lively and meaningful.

It is nicer when the leaves are out, but it is still to early for that to have happened. Blue skies also cheer the city up somewhat.
