This is the Arminian view of regeneration. Calvinists believe we must be regenerated before we can believe because we are by nature spiritually dead and cannot even see or enter the Kingdom of God until we are born again.
As a baby Christian I don’t sense the first fruit of God’s Holy Spirit which is love coming from some of the comments to this brother whom I believe is simply trying to clarify and help those like me who are still on milk as it were. Thank you for your analogy and May the God of my Lord Jesus Christ continue to help you as you promote his kingdom.
Hey. interessanter Clip! Sehr gut. ;) Schon mal jenes Jungbrunnenwasser von so einem Wasserstoffanreicherer jemals recherchiert? Dieses Wasser ist echt lecker! ☘ zusammegefasst kann man sagen: Wasserstoff schützt unsere Muskeln
Col.2:8 beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world ,and not after Christ.
Bible does not say we are 'born again' with the spiritual DNA of Christ. Yes, the Holy Spirit regenerates, as we walk with the Lord in His truth, but we still have the sinful nature this side of eternity. As Christians, we no longer have the desire to sin but are still able to defile ourselves by our words, thoughts and actions, hence the need to come regularly to the throne of grace for forgiveness. Anyway I don't think the analogy used in the video, adequately explains the process of sanctification.
The entire analogy failed when you said “if you don’t reject it” Which means regeneration is still up to man’s decision and is not how the new birth is described in the Bible “Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ has been born of God” Meaning they were born before they believed.
Where did you get this teaching from!? Jesus was talking to Nicodemus who came to Him at night. When Jesus spoke of being born from above, He mentions being born of water and spirit....This is why people back then and today baptized ... and whole families at that.... baby to adulthood.
For all those who think regeneration comes before Faith. What is Faith? Is it not our Trusting the LORD because he created us? Because he sustains our every breath? Because Jesus came and died as an act of voluntary, obedience of suffering and sacrifice? Is it not Trusting Him for a life long relationship with Him? Do we choose to Trust Him or does He decree (force) us to Trust Him? If he does it then the correct Biblical statement would be that We are Saved By God’s Grace Alone without any human participation. But that is NOT what the Bible teaches anywhere. Did God create human beings like he created plants? That have no intellect, no discernment, no logic, no free will? Why would he create us with such gifts and then force us to do His will? Makes no sense and the Bible never teaches this.

Amen !!
Interesting analogy...
Gospel (the work of the holy spirit) itself is the previnient Grace!
I know this is true because I experienced this.
I love this website it's too simple but it's great
Helpful explanation!

No, regeneration precedes faith.
Arminian interpretation. The calvinistic view is REGENERATION PRECEEDES FAITH.

JESUS IS LORD

Meaning they were born before they believed.
You caught it, too. Good for you. I was looking through the comments to see if anyone caught that, "if you don't reject it."

Where is your evidence for infant baptism in Scripture?
For all those who think regeneration comes before Faith.
What is Faith?
Is it not our Trusting the LORD because he created us?
Because he sustains our every breath?
Because Jesus came and died as an act of voluntary, obedience of suffering and sacrifice?
Is it not Trusting Him for a life long relationship with Him?
Do we choose to Trust Him or does He decree (force) us to Trust Him?
