I seen this video pop up on my screen .. It’s been proven that many adults understand more deeply in a subject of learning by seeing drawings that somehow explains the point more clearly… And this is true for me as I watch the short video… I have ADHD, and I’m very easily distracted, so I have a learning disability because of that… But praise the Lord that he understands, and he is merciful and brings me avenues to where I can learn how to grow my faith and deep in my relationship with the holy Trinity… This video and the way this person describes and puts into picture form biblical truth is going to help me a lot. For all those who think regeneration comes before Faith. What is Faith? Is it not our Trusting the LORD because he created us? Because he sustains our every breath? Because Jesus came and died as an act of voluntary, obedience of suffering and sacrifice? Is it not Trusting Him for a life long relationship with Him? Do we choose to Trust Him or does He decree (force) us to Trust Him? If he does it then the correct Biblical statement would be that We are Saved By God’s Grace Alone without any human participation. But that is NOT what the Bible teaches anywhere. Did God create human beings like he created plants? That have no intellect, no discernment, no logic, no free will? Why would he create us with such gifts and then force us to do His will? Makes no sense and the Bible never teaches this.

OK but how do you actually *know* that the Bible is the word of God? It was written and put together solely by fallible, mortal human beings. Is it not human arrogance and/or hubris to claim exactly what the words of God are? Does it make any sense to just believe, on the face of it, that the angel Gabriel actually spoke to Muhammad in a cave, just because he claimed so, and then further claimed that he spoke the final words, forever? What makes human beings actually believe so strongly in such things without question, other than because of men, anointed by other powerful men, who declare themselves to be the few men who have the "authority to know"? It's men, and turtles, all the way down! (Although I'm still glad to see some women feeling strong enough to jump in, too.)

DON'T INTERPRET THE BIBLE WITH SPIRIT FEELINGS, BUT TEST SPIRIT FEELINGS WITH THE BIBLE There are a lot of Christians who think the way to understand the bible is to "let the Holy Spirit tell you what it means." Often, they'll quote I Corinthians 2:14a as justification to this wildly inaccurate way to properly understand the bible--"the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God." Sure, anyone who has not yet experienced the unconditional love and complete forgiveness of God is, of course, going to behave as if they are not loved and forgiven, which is why they can't "receiveth," that is, experience the things of the Spirit of God. This ignorance, and the behavior which follows, makes no change to what God does or thinks or plans to do, but it does prevent the yet-to-realize-whom-they-are children of God FEEL it and begin acting accordingly. But that's a LOT different from RELYING ON FEELINGS to interpret the Bible!!! If one thinks, "It doesn't matter what the original authors of the bible intended to say when they put ink to a papyrus or vellum, but to rely on "spiritual feelings" to interpret their words, then the Bible can be made to said whatever one wants it to...or more likely, whatever SOMEONE ELSE wants you to FEEL it means, by using time-tested means of MANIPULATING YOUR FEELINGS! Now, this is not to say it's impossible or wrong to get feelings IN REACTION TO when the Spirit is, in fact, communicating with you in some way! Trouble is, how to KNOW for sure if what you FEEL is an accurate representation of what God is saying or has said, or merely the result of all the many things that go on around us or which happened to us before that results in what we call "feelings." Well, this is where PROPERLY DIVIDING THE WORD makes all the difference. Whenever you THINK you're feeling the Spirit of God, you should TEST THAT SPIRIT!!! How? By comparing what you SUBJECTIVELY FEEL the spirit is telling you to what the Scriptures OBJECTIVELY say, then you can screen out any stray feeling you mistook for the spirit of God. But if you do the REVERSE--using your feelings to determine what the bible says, then you're in for the wildest ride of your life because you'll be like a ship at sea, during a storm, without a rudder...or worse, you'll become the slave of anyone who has mastered the art of manipulating your feelings in order to get you to think they are God's voice when it's really just another MAN controlling you! Bible does not say we are 'born again' with the spiritual DNA of Christ. Yes, the Holy Spirit regenerates, as we walk with the Lord in His truth, but we still have the sinful nature this side of eternity. As Christians, we no longer have the desire to sin but are still able to defile ourselves by our words, thoughts and actions, hence the need to come regularly to the throne of grace for forgiveness. Anyway I don't think the analogy used in the video, adequately explains the process of sanctification.

THE BIBLE IS LIKE A HUGE JIGSAW PUZZLE SO YOU'LL ONLY GET THE PICTURE IF YOU STOP OBSESSING OVER A FEW PIECES! Is the Bible the "Word of God"? Is every word in the Bible directly inspired by God? Well, if you're talking to a Neo Evangelical (formerly known as Fundamentalist) preacher or teacher, he's going to tell you, "Of course, the entire Bible is the Word of God and every word in it is 'God breathed,' inspired directly by God!" He'll probably do so in a very authoritative-sounding voice, all the while holding a thick book in his hand that says "Holy Bible" on the leather cover, etched in gold! He's then likely to crack it open and point you to some selected verses, and especially here lately, though you may have never read a Bible before in your entire life, you'll notice the English is pretty old, like Shakespearean old (you know, with a LOT of thee's and thou's in it)! If fact, the English is so old, that you might have had a lot of trouble understanding the words (OK, not you English teachers or law students) except for the fact he'll waste no time TELLING YOU WHAT THE VERSE MEANS. And unless you had already taken the time to read the Bible for yourself, you're very likely to come away thinking that every single verse in that very large "holy" book represents what God dictated to someone to write down...and pass it on to you. Tragically, almost all people who then convert to Neo Evangelicalism stop right there! For the rest of their "bible-believing" lives, they'll continue to let someone else tell them what the Bible says and what it means! Sure, some will, eventually, try to read and study the Bible on their own (not to be confused with those who get their own leather-bound King James Version Holy Bible and flip the pages to where their told to open it to...only to SPONGE more INDOCTRINATION), but even then, most will find it very hard to read any passage without interpreting its meaning through the mental lens of all the doctrines they've been saddled with (what I like to call "Doctrine Goggles")! Then, one day, when someone who actually has read the Bible, without those Goggles tries to inform them many of the beliefs they are cock-sure to be completely "bible-based" are actually just the opposite of what Jesus of Nazareth taught, they'll look at you in dismay and, often, anger! They're "certain" they know what "God says"! After all, they've been sitting in a church, at least once a week, getting plenty of entertainment and, after the music and singing, have all their beliefs reinforced by a very sure-sounding preacher who will tell them, in one form or another "Believe your beliefs and doubt your doubts!" Or even, "Don't let anyone tell you any differently, because that's the Devil's voice!" Now, if this sounds like what happens to people who are inducted into a cult, then you would be absolutely correct! The difference, though, is that we're not talking about small group that lives in the woods with a leader who runs every aspect of their lives, but a widespread religious movement that is very much controlled by its leadership, but far more dangerously, has them spread out into society in order to garner more influence, especially when it comes to political power! Much as the Neo Evangelical leaders have learned they can get more people to convert by love-bombing them at the door, and promises of peace in their hearts, it's not long before they're fueled with hate and fear, the two favorite emotions every fascist propagandist loves to use the most to get their followers to do whatever their Leader (no, not Jesus) says, not the Bible! Here's the main issue with the Bible. It's NOT the Word of God in the sense that "every word" was dictated to men, for every person of every age to know what God wants. This idea comes from a very bad translation of a bible verse where a young early church leader named Timothy is getting some advice and the author, speaking about the Jewish Bible (what Christians call the "Old Testament") says, "...the WHOLE of Scripture is inspired by God." In other words, the Neo Evangelicals (Fundamentalists) want us to look at each and every small piece of a giant 783,137 piece jigsaw puzzle (the number of words in the King James Bible), with a MICROSCOPE, and while we're looking only at one little piece at a time, they say, "You see! That's the picture! That's what God wants you to see! You better believe it, or else!" But by looking only at one little verse here and another there, they miss the big picture entirely! (By the way, it's because every church obsesses over certain verses and ignores all the rest that we have nearly 10,000 different Christian denominations, none believing all the same things...though they try very hard not to tell you that until AFTER you've joined!) If I play my violin in a college orchestra, if the teacher/conductor is an observant Hebrew and notices that I fail to play all the notes as indicated on the score, I won’t get an A grade. If I improvise instead of playing the notes on the score (if I play notes where a rest is indicated, for example) I’ll get an ever lower score. Right? If I understand the Sermon on the Mount, the ideal presented there - or even in the rest of Romans 6 - is higher than the letter of the law. It’s OK with me if various Christians understand the ideal of Christian deportment in various ways. In fact, I think that is as it should be. I shouldn’t consider someone less Christian than I am for understanding that ideal differently than I do UNLESS it seems to me that the goal is to ignore some parts of the Hebrew Bible and simultaneously use coercion against people who fail to follow certain other aspects of the instruction to be found there.

The Bible does indeed contain some excellent teachings but it is certainly NOT a perfect book. If the Bible is the perfect word of God then it should NOT contain any mistakes at all - even mistakes by men! The very fact that the Bible contains inconsistencies means that is is NOT perfect. The basic teachings of the texts are actually very good. But the execution of those texts is flawed. Here is one such example that Malcom X gave in the 1960's where he pointed out certain errors in the Bible. Malcom X pointed out in the 1960's that in Acts chapter 1 it states that Judas Iscariot died because he fell down on the ground and subsequently burst his intestinal organs open. But in Matthew chapter 27 it states that Judas hanged himself. Thats one of many mistakes in the Bible that Malcom X pointed out in the 1960's. Evangelical Christians will spin "tailor made" explanations to account for inconsistencies in the Bible AFTER THE FACT. The fact is that the inconsistencies are still in the Bible and still require extreme Verbal gymnastics to explain them. Some Christians explain Bible inconsistencies by comparing them to differences in modern day crime scene testimonials. This is stupid as the Bible deals with the most important things in history - such as the establishment of Gods hebrew laws and the latter Resurrection of Christ - so it should be COMPLETELY 100% ACCURATE. Crime scene testimonials which have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on global world humanity so this particular analogy that the evangelical Christians use is flawed. Verbal gymnastics aka "apologetics" is exactly the methodology employed by evangelical Christians to explain their Bible. Muslims employ the same type of Verbal gymnastics to defend stuff in their koran - so dont worry people - its not just Christian folk. In fact, Muslims are probably worse than Christians for this type of behaviour. All so called "holy" religions have their own scholarly gymnasts to defend their so called "holy" books. Research the Jewish talmud everyone and you will see the disgusting things the Jews say about Jesus and Mary and gentiles in general. But guess what folks, they also use their own clever brand of Verbal gymnastics to defend their so called "holy" books just like the Muslims and Christians do. In fact, the Jews are probably even better at Verbal gymnastics than the Muslims and Christians, seeing as Jews are the real source of the so called "Abrahamic" religions. Just like the so called "Abrahamic" religions, all the other world religions will contain elements of truth mixed with fiction - this just comes with the whole territory. Just accept it folks and use with the "good stuff" in all these various religions in the world - and leave all the other things in these various religions that dont fit alone. In fact, this applies to the Muslims and the Jews - aswell as Christians and indeed every other religion on the planet. Face it folks, all these religions are as bad as each other. Religious folk should learn to Improve their social tactics and they will go alot further with the young generation today.
