Bronzy lipstick looked incredibly fresh and elegant, lamost like that FRENCH look when you wear only red lipstick. Use it! It looked absolutely beautiful with your hair color, too. In fact, it did not look orange. It looked burnt orange - very cool for a blonde.

I love what you said about make up - that it should make us look better or what's the point. It seems really obvious doesn't it? I think I could be wrong, of course, but those of us who have loved makeup since we were teen Adgers, Are the ones who for the most part didn't feel pretty when we were young or had some kind of skin or facial issues that bothered us and that we wanted to either correct or cover up. We've appreciated make up since we were young. But I also meet lots of women who don't wear make up who say they would really like to, But they give the excuse that they just don't want to take the time or they don't know how to do it. I do think that anyone can learn at any age, how wonderful a little bit of face paint, beautifully applied, can boost your confidence. That's what I think your channel provides Caroline!

This is such a simple and effective look. I was happier when you went for a more pinky lipstick 💄.

I bought a TheraFace Pro for about $300 and have been using it to treat some discoloration on my face. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me. It has 4 different lights and can be used to do many different treatments on my face. I've only had it about a month and don't use it every day. I'd never pay $2k for a similar product.

Interestingly the lipstick colour translates beautifully on camera and isn’t too warm neither does it wash you out x
I use Madara Moonflower tinting fluid. Its the cool toned one they do another i think called Sunflower for warm toned skin. Fabulous stuff x
You do look extra stunning - must be the laser! I love how you talk through the process of assessing the colours and textures. And thanks for the tip for straight lashes. I’m finding the LE Kitten lash mascara is nice and light too and my lashes do stay up all day.
I love the look of Merit products but they don’t deliver to Australia.

Love this lightly bronzed look sans blush - very California vibe!! If I could vote - the first lipstick worked better - but honestly you can wear anything and pull it off :) Re the LYMA - the before and after photos with your lips didn't convince me - sadly. Lip lines are a thing -- perhaps people need to stop drinking out of straws first. You continue to delight xoxox

I really liked the bronze lipstick until you changed it to the pinky toned one , wow what a difference that really brightened your face and brought the look together. Maybe you could show us some more looks and how by using another colour etc it then changes and enhances the final finish. Thank you have been watching regularly for past 6 months really enjoy your tips they have really helped .

Love this! I actually liked the look before the eyeshadow, though agree the brown lip wasn’t quite right. I did laugh though when you declared that mascara to be soft and demure! 😂❤. Incidentally, and no word of a lie, I noticed a change in your skin above the lips a couple of weeks ago, but it felt rude to mention it. In fact i think your skin overall is looking great - less stressed is how I’d describe it - maybe down to the symprove? I have it too and I really need it (and I actually like the sauerkraut-y type taste), but I keep forgetting to take it first thing in the morning, so you mentioning it is a great inspiration, so I’ve just set an extra alarm!
Yes I think Symprove all calms my skin my face like many dictates what’s going on inside… everyone is so kind I don’t often get mean comments which is rare these days!! ❤❤❤
Hi Caroline for me here in Scotland Summer is a very short season in reality (no matter what the calendar says 😂) and I always go much lighter weight with makeup at that time. I think bright sunlight is unforgiving to makeup and a full face is less flattering on my 52 year old face when it’s hot 🥵 and melted off 😂. I love the dewy glow of the ilia skin tint (so unusual to find a product that truly looks dewy/glowy on my severely dry eczema prone skin all day), but I use some concealer where needed to cover the rosacea etc. A light dusting of my hourglass ambient powder in the t zone stops it looking too sweaty in that area😂. For the eyes I enjoy cream shadows and simplicity, but I love a pop of colour on the lower lashline to match my outfit- it just makes it a bit more fun/quirky. A balm or gloss in a brighter shade than I would wear in a more opaque formula is also a fun pop of colour. Being more translucent makes it look less stark on me and I am more comfortable with that. I ordered the Merit bronzing stick. Looking forward to trying it. While I like the VIEVE cream bronzer, it is very large and I wanted a smaller product for travel
Controversially, I much preferred the Merit lipstick (after you put the GenSee on your eyes)! I thought it was a very sophisticated look. Of course you look beautiful in anything, but that was a lovely change. Thank you for showing a soft bronze look for those that are 'allergic' to putting warmth on their skin, ie. me. This, with the very simple base, looks really subtle. I always worry my face will look like a terracotta house brick if I use bronzer, but this on specific areas and eye sockets looks doable. Thanks again, Caroline, you teach me something new every week! X

Hi Caroline, I love your you tube posts. Now you have been using the lyma for a few more months would you recommend , are you still noticing benefits/ changes ? I have lines on my upper lip (from years of smoking, though thankfully I have now given up) and would love to try and do something about them that's not surgical? but the lyma is a lot of money so would appreciate any update, thanks so much.
18:41 I have always had very long very straight lashes which would never stay curled no matter how much I curled them or what mascara I used until Jo had a lash lift. Now I look awake even when I wake up !

Beautiful! I think it'd be helpful (for me anyway) to see a video on how to navigate makeup with "problem skin." Breakouts, redness, etc. Your skin is gorgeous, but mine doesn't always leave me with the easiest base to work with. I'm acne-prone and sensitive.

Such a gorgeous look, fairly simple with the bronze colours in the eyes and cheeks. Mascara looks utterly beautiful and very plumping on the lashes. The merit lip colour looks quite lovely but maybe with a red tint but it is gorgeous with the lip liner ❤

Loved the merit lipstick on you but i agree it was different of what you use to wear. To me it looked a bot seventies understated glam 😉. Would probably match very well with an olive or kaki top. About the device: please keep us posted. I might save up for it as my lips and the area around my mouth are the first area where my skin starts sagging and aging (i am 48).
Oh and i have a question for Lyma: would it be safe to use it under the chun and on our neck?
