If you like this robot and would like one I would act fast...I paid $217 just a week ago and the price has gone up to $252 and keeps going up everyday. Must be getting popular! Get the JetBot on Amazon = amzn.to/3klnkpA
Tonight was my first time using the Samsung and all I can say is Wow! This guy really cleans amazing and can clean your walls just as good as your floors. I found watching this robot clean in front of me was even better than seeing it work on video. Adam is seriously right when he says if they make this into a smart robot and can dock on its own, it's game over for all the other mopping robots.
Another pro tip u can also use it on hand manually and actually use the robot cleaner to clean walls with it and it works great. Something other robot mops or vacuums fail to do because they don't have a handle or manual mode.
Very nice review and I watched your reviews on other mops too. I bought this one and very happy. I think Samsung gets it right because of right design. It's compact and entire weight is on the scrubbing pads which rotate and buff off the dirt. Many other mops fail because those use flat moping pad, which is inferior to rotation scrub. Bissell tried similar pads and rotation, however the top weight is on the sides and the scrubs don't get enough weight, which resulted in poor cleaning. I appreciate the remote controller which can be used to manually control the robot, much better value than app control. I have a Roomba S9+ and the app features are practical for vacuuming, maybe not so much for mopping.
Dang, I wish I'd known about this before I ordered my iLife Shinebot. I wanted to love it, but I don't. It does a decent job, but it's exhausting w/ maintenance. This one really scrubs the floor and the remote functions work better. The iLife when it's told to do spot clean, kind of does a different version of that each time. It could be good, it might barely move and declare itself done. Just got Shinebot 2 days ago, so I'm well w/in a return. Though I will have to pay for the return, they made me pay the shipping from the US already.
Watched this 5/28/24 @ 8:50 PM. Very instructive, very helpful. I will have a question at the end. I came across your video while searching for an official Samsung instructional video which I never did find. Your video was all I needed. My question: How do you avoid airduct vents that are built into the floor? I see you have them. I have 2 in the living room and one in the kitchen. I’d hate to drip water in the duct. Thanks again.
The recharging dock should also have a water reservoir and this thing should be smart enough to go back and top up its tank from the reservoir when needed. Having to manually intervene every 50 minutes reduces the overall usefulness of this thing.
Awesome review! I've spent the past 2 days researching mop robots and had narrowed it down to 2: the Samsung and the Braava 240. This video made my decision for me: the Samsung is perfect for my needs! Thank you so much for this review!
@@AdamsReviews You know how irobot set the "default design" for vacuum robots for years? (side brush, roundish, docking, self-emptying) In a few years this will be the default design for floor cleaning robots.
It will get rid of most of the residual dust and dirt the vacuum didn’t. I don’t like so many chemicals so I do just plain water in between the deep cleans and the floor is pretty squeaky.
@@IneEggja The unit will leave behind some liquid which will contain some detergent, which in turn will dry and leave a film on the floor. It drags a wet pad across the floor and leaves what is in the solution behind. Just like using a mop on a floor, if you use a cleaning agent you have to do a final mop with clean water.. Even the ones that say NO RINSE will leave a cloudy film behind...
To protect the lithium battery, do i plug jetbot on wall all the time when not using? or should i charge jetbot only a few hours before each use? how often should i get new pads? how long do these pads last
It seems that Samsung makes some of the best cleaning robots on the market as far as cleaning ability. The powerbots being a great example with their insane suction power. I am actually really impressed how well this cleaned. It's a shame that it's almost impossible to find replacement parts for their robots. (At least the vacuums) I have the 9350 Turbo and it is amazing but the firmware bugs and weak battery put it into retirement. I think it would be really cool for them to come back with new robots once again. Great review as always. By the way, have you heard about the Roomba I3 plus? It just came out. I think it's basically the I7 without a camera. Maybe eventually you can do a review on that! I have seen little to no videos on it.
yep. samsung 9350 have power full suction that is why the battery don't last long you can chose lower suction for more cleaning time.mine is still in working order .parts can find on ebay new or used . navigation and edge cleaning is not really good . but the suction is so amazing .
Impressive, but yeah it needs smartness, but that edge wow that was really good. And yes you could get use to the Low IQ. Not much to add except it works and works very well. Cheers.
Wish I could find reviews that verified how long these products last. I had a iRobot Scuba mop a few years ago. When it worked, it worked great. The problem was it kept breaking down. I babied that thing - cleaned it thoroughly after every use, stored it in the box it came in, only used the Scuba-sanctioned detergent. After I replaced it 3 times, I gave up and went back to a regular mop. I'd like to try again, but I hate to spend hundreds of dollars on a robot mop that will work only for a few months.
Can you use soap or cleaner in the reservoirs? Side note, it would be nice to have a feature where you can hold the handle and manually scrub while the pads rotate, defeats the purpose of a 'robot' vacuum, but when I first saw it I thought that's what it was..
Hello! Love your videos! I currently have the braava 380t, does a decent job but wanted something to clean better. This one you may have sold to me. The 380t does map the room so I would loose that, in your opinion do you think this would be a big loss ? If the samsung cleans better I'd be ok with it I think.
