I see not much has changed since it was Clearview. Maybe that land is cursed, or maybe community mental health centers in general just aren't ran very well. I have watched numerous investigative reports about these hospitals all over the nation, and they lack seriously in protocols, proper training, resources, staff, and ability to manage their own finances. In other words, they lack leadership. I used to work for Clearview....I could go on and on about it.
It is too bad, because we don't have the large mental hospitals we used to, and state hospital are just as ineffective. This is why we have a mental health crisis in America.

Whether it is Johnstown Heights or Mind Springs in Grand Junction, the standard of treatment in mental health is patient abuse. The lack of murder or manslaughter charges is characteristic of what happens in psychiatric facilities. Imagine how badly a rape victim or an underage abuse victim gets treated by mental health staff and the police who are supposed to protect them. For profit mental health treatment should be illegal until providers are able to live up to basic standards of human rights and decency. Sadly under Jared Polis hospitals like Johnstown Heights will never be closed or have their licenses revoked, as my own experience with psychiatric abuse at UChicago has taught me.

My husband was murdered at Clear View Hospital in Johnstown. Phil Weiser, AG should have charged this Hospital with criminal charges but wouldn't do anything!

Tony I just wanted to point out that it is my belief that there is something here of a cover-up and I believe it has something to do with the patient's records if you ignore a child when you have that responsibility and the child dies under your care you are charged the same should be for the responsibility of the doctors and the therapist that took care of this man

Christopher's family should have sued the place. That will make them change.

We sued...the maximum you can get for wrongful death is 300k. After attorney fees we got half that. Insurance covers the hospital so they don't care!
