Honestly. Saitama is strong but he ain’t gonna win this fight alone. Cosmic god garou can use mode saitama. Reflects and sends back anything to saitama.
I just want to see Saitama punch Garou so hard that he flies into the moon and shatters the moon and continues to fly into space. Saitama, from earth does an ultra serious punch and the pressure from it obliterates Garou.
I love this from character development perspective. Saitama didn't take his 'job' as superhero serious, because for him it never felt serious. And right now, when situation is really serious for the first time, he already failed as a hero.
Glad someone mentioned it. "Do I really have a hero's intuition" wasn't just about not being on time, but believing that Garou wasn't a monster and that he could control the fight and not hurt him. Now he's accepting that he's gonna break his promise to Tareo, but also completely outta control to the point of not realizing he's about to destroy the planet. So blast is gonna have to make them take their fight to another dimension. As for Garou, his own fate is looking pretty bleak unless Blast separates them somehow.
When Murata said that the fight between Saitama and Garou in the manga was going to be on a larger scale than the Boros fight, he wasn’t kidding and he absolutely DELIVERED. I have to admit, out of all the mangas I’ve been reading and keeping up with, THIS manga takes the cake for PEAK writing to me, I have genuinely never been this excited about a single chapter in a manga until now. And to think the next chapter is going to crush it and become my next favorite chapter. Every single chapter for the past month has been 15/10 material. And to think that they’re going to churn out even more mind blowing moments non stop. All those years of wait for this fight was so worth it.
I have this feeling that Blast's abilities are the following: 1.) Gravity manipulation (from his Gravity Knuckle) 2.) Dimension/Space manipulation through Teleportation. (Dimension Cannon - it might be an attack to send Garou to another dimension) 3.) His most powerful attack would be "Singularity or Mini-Blackhole". It's possible based on the damage he had done to the monster that attacked Tatsumaki in the Research Facility. This Singularity/mini-Blackhole is like Dante's attack (Black Clover). And it seems like Blast is one of the big threats to God the way he reacted when he found out that Blast appeared out of nowhere while God is still talking to Flashy Flash and Saitama.
@@giornogiovanna9475 I honestly think that's on the board. There'd have to be a limit to it so he couldn't just revert Garou back a few days of course. What I'm thinking is possible is that he uses his black hole ability to literally slow time around Saitama and Garou, which is realistic to how black holes function, to send them to a different dimension.
Being able to manipulate the cosmos, I wont be surprise if Blast is able to control time as well. In addition to gravity and space manipulation, I believe he’s also an esper (based on how he can deduce what’s in Tatsumaki’s mind when she’s thinking about Fubuki). And if that isn’t awesome enough, the dude also is speculated to be able to control non-living organism (trillions of robots!) and shoot lasers from his eyes. We need a backstory of who Blast really is. P/S: Blast’s Dimension Cannon reminds me of Nililanth’s green teleportation spheres in Half Life.
@@M.L1890 I never thought about time as one of his abilities BUT I completely agree with what you have said. Especially, if we incorporate the basic knowledge of general relativity by Albert Einstein. I just have a little knowledge about the theory of relativity but according to Einstein in his time dilation, the time in an object with gravity is slower than in a gravity-free object since gravity can bend space-time and therefore time. Since Blast can manipulate gravity, therefore, he can also manipulate time. He can make time slower against his opponent while his physical speed and power are unaffected. Time as his power is possible.
The thing is. Saitama's serious punch doesn't mean he's nearly releasing his full power. It's a fact he has no limit of power so he could trow a 1000 fold stronger punch after the serious punch.

The serious punch or normal punch isn't even a move it's just different types of Saitama's effort in punching. But if you notice every single other character in fiction there's always a theme of "surpassing your limit" or whatever, basically punching as hard as you can in every punch. Saitama is still nowhere near that, he hasn't even struggle *yet* Basically in "Serious mode" that just means Saitama is fighting with the same intent as the other heroes.
Blast kinda looks like a roughed up, aged Saitama before he went bald(especially where he is holding the dark ball). Maybe he's Saitama from another dimension. But it could just be Muratas drawing style since it technically is a re-draw.
if anyone is curios if it's blood or Genos's oil. It's actually a black rain cause by Garou's nuclear fission explosion. Just remember the incident of Hiroshima whereas it rains black liquids after the explosion
Best thing about the chapter is seeing what Blast is capable of. No wonder he left Earth and got his own multi -dimensional monster God team! He's leagues above any of the S class heroes on earth.
Exactly. All the other S-Class heroes would get one shot by Garou, even just his presence was killing them. Meanwhile Blast shows up solo and goes toe to toe keeping up with Garou. He's definitely leagues above the rest of the S-Class heroes.
No arms, legs, missing half his body and he's still first to do something. I'm tearing up just thinking about it which I didn't think was possible for me!

I dont know if i like where this is going. One punch man as a main concept has Saitama being invincible and basically not taking any fight seriously, which brings some comedic effect to it. The current fight becomes too much classic shounen, where Saitama has some feeling of regret and revenge for going more serious.
So many to talk about in just one chapter. Garou is so dangerous that normal human beings even s class heroes couldn’t stand his radiation. Blast lived up to his top rank for keeping up with Garou. It shows that Blast is very experienced in fighting God level disaster. And we get to see him fight for the first time. Blast is proven not just strong but also very smart. This is very exciting! Garou was able to copy Blast moves in an instant. Blast isn’t too worry about himself but more worried about planet earth. Garou knew that Saitama wasn’t serious yet so he had to kill his most loyal apprentice. Saitama is back and witnessed the slaughtered of all the heroes and his loyal apprentice. With a cold face, Saitama went serious in an instant and was ready to kill Garou. Garou knew exactly what’s gonna happen and he copied Saitama serious move in an instant. At this moment Blast knew the whole planet is in danger. What a chapter! Too much to absorb! This is a 100/10 chapter!! Thank you Murata!
If you think abt it we kinda got the garou vs the s class fight from the webcomic in the manga tho it was done quick fashion (the radiation and his overall presence pretty much) !
We still havent seen Blast's potential yet. He had to hold back in order to protect the nearby bystanders. We might not see Blast fight anytime soon, but I am so excited to see the serious punches collide. I predict Saitama will use consecutive serious punches once they get transported to the other dimension
True, but i wonder why Saitama's full-power blow in fanmade only has a nuclear-like effect, even though an ordinary punch exceeds a nuclear and a serious blow can wipe out the earth very easily.
I think something that would be interesting is Blast taking Saitama and Garou to the moon. This allows serious table flip to happen, and we possibly get to see Blast have some breathing space to help the other S class heros + call for back up from the retcon bros. Garou being defeated on the moon would also tie everything back to god, and also be symbolic of Saitama undermining God's vision.
Based on what I’ve read cosmic fear Garou creating a gamma ray burst is a multi solar system level feat as gamma ray bursts produce more energy than are sun will through its who life and behaves like a supernova that lasts for 1 to 2 minutes so Garou is basically making back to back supernovas.
@@skychieftain well to me it seems that the burst was a directed blast meaning it’s power was being guided to not destroy everything and even if it was smaller the pure power of its constant power emission would be a multi planetary feat.

The sheer radiation alone would kill the planet in seconds if this was anyway close to the real GRB, not to mention burning off the atmosphere despite "being concentrated". Keep dreaming though. King covering fubuki up with his shirt and getting her close to Tatsumaki is the most missable moment in this chapter as too many awesome moments are happening.
I can’t wait to see Saitama angry, ready to rip Garou’s head off. A chill character finally showing his emotion, like whenever Mob would hit 100%, except times that by 1000%
This chapter was too fucking good. I can’t believe Garou is this deadly and it wasn’t even the full transfer of power that God was planning to give him. If he had just held his hand, what would Garou have been like ???? Blast was a total beast. The dude was holding his own and I’m loving how he fights doing doctor strange portal shit!!!

Blast states it himself that garou only took some of gods power and gods stated himself even if he didn’t take the deal he still barely touched his hand and with that he’ll lend garlic some of his power and make him his avatar.. then this new chapter blast said he wonder what garou would of been like if he took the deal fully if his already this strong and fiendish..
i like how Blast wasn't really all that suprised about Garou's power, he was mainly concerned about earth and the safety of humans. Excited to see more of his power in the future..

I'm glad Blast ended up being a good guy. I also thought he might be a villain as a twist but this chapter (along with the one where he held Tatsumaki) showed that he really is one of the good guys.
You know what's funnier? Blast acknowledge Saitama strength even just for a brief meeting with him and declaring that the collision of both attack could destroy the whole earth.

This chapter just surpassed my wildest dream and it really devastated me... the build up tension at the few final pages, the black rain (makes sense it will be black raining, if you're wondering, just learn about Hiroshima & Nagasaki) and also this is the first time we've ever seen Saitama like this... I don't know what comes after this, I'm scared

I believe Blast has yet to show the true extent of his abilities. He effortlessly decked God Garou in the face several times while none of Garou’s nuclear & black hole fists reached him physically (deflected with his abilities). Throughout his long combat history with God (presumably through his former vessels), and all that did is damaged his suit (just like Saitama’s) and a scar on the face. He stated himself that he, and presumably God are the two beings that can manipulate the reality of the cosmos. Fubuki’s hypothesis is right all along. Blast is the hero that could solo all heroes in the HA, his abilities are just plain awesome & leagues above them all. That aside, Garou really has done it. He just pissed the one man whose rage everyone in OPM shoud fear the most.
My theory that I'm 100percent confident in is Blast is tatsumaki and fubukis adopted father...he looks back at them when he talks about getting everyone out.He was so proud of tatsumaki on how much she's grown and fubuki is familiar with his strength

If you look closely, Flashy Flash and King are the only ones who still haven't fainted from Garou's radiation. It also seems that King put his remaining shirt over Fubuki and is trying to protect Fubuki and Tatsumaki from the radiation with his body which is FUCKING amazing!!!
And now feel me, I forgot about this manga for the last 3 chapters, yesterday I read two, immense hype and didn't expect a next chapter today, holy shit 😳
A few things. Blast coming in to deal with Garou is part of his containment duty, not him taking a break from it to make his teammates deal with the fallout. This IS the fallout. He probably knows about Garou but not Saitama because what came through the dimensional rip is exactly what reached Garou (and what Garou spoke back with) to get him to this state. The other things: Garou not actually killing people was a big part of how Saitama reacted in the webcomic fight, Flashy Flash was still shown to be conscious after almost everyone including Bang & Zombieman(!) went down, Garou hasn't actually copied a move until after he's seen it so he shouldn't be able to do that with the serious punch which he's never seen before, and look at Blast's thighs got dam he didn't skip leg day.
We can probably assume that Garou's physical abilities weren't the only things that were enhanced. His mental abilities most likely got buffed too which is why he's able to copy the attack at the same time as he's seeing it for the first time rather than having to see it first.

Blast isn't fully concerned about Garou's power at all, he is concerned of the safety of others. A TRUE HERO. I believe that if Blast fights Cosmic Fear Garou at full power with no restriction he might be able to match him at the very least.

I was going to comment on this. Saitama is clenching Genos' heart in a way. It was noted by Dr Genus in the beginning how lonely Saitama looked - this is the second time we see this aspect of his personality appear in the manga. Definitely a beautiful image.
My theory is that saitama is still holding his sanity and thinks genos has a hope left to revive. If he didn't he would already obliterate the whole universe or omniverse just to defeat god

He won't.. That would end the story then.. Also, Saitama will most likely never find a challenge.. That's the point of the story.. He is finding ways to gain his humanity back.. Think of Mob Psycho where he is the strongest Esper, and his journey is to be more human.. One Punch Man is very similar to that..
Blast probably did not go all-out against Garou because he didnt want to life-wipe but as of now, Id say hes below Garou but above Boros, given how he could warp his CSRC attack away
He is holding back due to same situation. If their power collides destroys earth. His plan is simple take him to other dimension and seal him or kill him. This leads Saitama and Blast going for multiverse quest to stop God and his Disciples
I don't think Blast is below Garou right now tbh. Garou could potentially adapt to Blast in a longer, drawn out battle, but I doubt we've seen more than a fraction of his power. He just wanted Garou out of there, didn't want to fight him seriously
1. It seems Blast is holding back for sake of the earth. 2. Garou didn't get full power from God. And Blast was scared to think what would happen if Garou got full power of God. 3. Garou as herlad of God. God is controlling Garou. Garou is failing to realize it. Peak fiction, 10/10 chapter. Genius genius genius one and murata are masters of their craft. This is a masterclass of art, direction, vision and writing. Blew our expectations out of the water

Saitama spent the whole series being bored, unable to remember the feeling of a real fight. Now, during a fight he might’ve otherwise enjoyed a little bit, it’s a deeper emptiness. This is the kind of writing you just can’t find in a lot of other battle manga. Saitama has had so many moments where it’s shown he’s a true hero with how he treats others, especially kids. Will that resolve break, will he give up the promise he made to not kill Garo? I can’t wait to find out!
tbh i don't think they are equel, equels but could be proved wrong i do think they will go to another dimension and garo might just have high speed regen now saitama is just pissed now so i am also very curious to see what happens i assume gorou and god will split and saitama will just go all out on god killing them in one blow when seperated from garo

True although he pretty much did nothing to Blast in their brief fight. They seemed pretty equal to me. Garou just likes talking shit but Saitama is about to humble him next chapter.

GAROU is definitely on a whole new level and COMPLETELY surpassed Boros. Saitama is actually getting more serious not only because his opponent is somehow strong, but he crossed the line and killed the closest friend he had. He has gone berserk!!!!

@@smb_64youtube5 Boris could have potentially wiped out all life on earth so that's not that crazy. Why would one introduce god level now when there are like three arcs after this? God level is obviously being saved for actual god or something else so doing it now would cheapen it since he's clearly waiting to use it later. Also only garou has claimed to be it, it hasn't even been confirmed unless you guys have inside knowledge on the story of the manga.
It's absolutely insane how much this arc transcends in scale compared to the webcomic. I remember reading this arc in the webcomic and thinking it was really good and couldn't wait to see it in the manga. But now finally seeing, it became so much more than I could possibly conceive.
this might be chapter of the year 10/10. when you actually see emotion off saitama, seeing what happened to genos. For saitama to go from he wont kill garou to now saitama going serious wow. Garou Feats are insane he’s doing a aizen with the spiritual pressure knocking people out just from standing next to him, my favourite part of the chapter was when Blast tried warping garou somewhere else and he came back IN SECONDS "YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD NEVER SEE ME AGAIN WELL TOO BAD" lmao

Then Garou just takes the spotlight with his new Awakening, Copying Saitama's moves, able to competitively fight blast,(It's CRAZY how Garou is able to copy Serious punch!) Now this is the first time we actually see Saitama Angery, he gonna destroy Garou for what happened.
dude this chapter was 11/10 I wonder what's gonna happen to Genos? I mean it certainly seems like he's dead, but he's still gotta survive for future timelines. How does he pull through this? Maybe Blast saves him with his... Blastiness? Or Kuseno just shows up and does something? I'm honestly just shocked at this chapter
Giving credit where credit's due. When I read One Punch Man, it's usually semi-predictable in terms of narrative and plot when referring to the webcomic and where a reader might assume the story will turn to. However, the Shueisha manga itself has surprised me endlessly with its noteworthy execution, dialogue, new plot elements, newly inserted actions and transformations, new courses and characters, its all so refined and fun to read that for the first time in a long time I've thoroughly enjoyed a piece of manga to this extent.

Murata keeps upping the game. This chapter is one of the few where I was literally saying holy shit, this is awesome. My only concern is how do they follow this story line? It’s almost like an endgame story with so much happening. How do you follow up fighting god Garou? There are some cool webcomic stories after this but how can they measure up to this?
I think this chapter did an official acknowledgment that king has powers. He's not on the floor like most of the others, but still upright and seems to have found the strength to take off his shirt to cover tatsumaki and fubuki

I'm legit scared for Garou and what happens when these serious punches collide, I feel like the next chapter is gonna open up with Blast last second portaling them to a different dimension and just a gigantic shockwave explosion rips through the dimension they're in. I don't see how Garou is going to be able to survive this unless a part of Saitama is still holding back at the last second to just only shatter his shell or body without fully killing him. I don't see Garou surviving otherwise, maybe he can handle 1 serious punch but idk!
Surprised you didn't talk about Genos being killed, though I don't think he will stay dead. And If you noticed, very few heroes were able too with stand the cosmic radiation longer than others like Bang and FF, but also King was still conscious; curios about that.
genos core provide extra energy if he finish it, but he didnt finished it. so he wont die even if you remove the core. certainly though he wont have battery for much time so we need to hurry. as long as his brain is intact he should be fine.

Now no one can say webcomic Garou was more intimidating literally at first I thought absolute evil was sort of crap but look at now i was genuinely scared by Garou
The thing that stood out to me the most Saitama: the first time he audibly said out loud he attends to kill someone with a killer move. Garou is mimicking saitama, but he doesn’t understand saitama fully. Garou will either die or come close to it after this attempt he’s doing. The way saitama basically said that everything that happened is his fault for not being their on time felt so realistic. He didn’t start screaming and crying / blaming garou for what he did. He self reflected for a moment, looked at what happened due to him not subduing garou, and then proceeded to put everything he can into killing garou. I don’t think he screamed his punch either he just tightened up and went right into kill mode.
I'm certain at this point that Blast is the Esper equivalent to Saitama, breaking a limiter reserved for psychic powers. I'm sure all his friends are the same way, and those who break their limiters usually are psychic types with the natural talent and conviction to break through limits. I imagine these are the types of entities sense by God, Blast, and his crew, whereas Saitama is just a regular dude who broke a physical limiter, which is seemingly unheard of since nobody seems to recognize his power, which may have bigger implications for all we know. I'm still confident Saitama is the one above all here though. (WEBCOMIC SPOILER) I'm also confident Genos can't be dead (or at least stay that way) considering the webcomic.
this chapter is, to me, by far the best in the series so far. The new levels of power, the impactful deaths of characters we actually care about, and our first glimpse into a truly serious saitama. Also some of the best panels of the series.
this one comes 2nd to 165 for me because of the Mode: Saitama reveal in that chapter, it had me HYPED! but this one's off the charts as well, seeing Saitama flashback to him and genos combined with his completely serious demeanor when he throws the serious punch shows just how much he cared and just how hard garou is gonna get fucked

When you ask about impactful deaths, let me ask you this, did Genos's death or at least what Garou did to him not make you feel something? I was shocked, heartbroken and angry all at once. And when saitama makes his reappearance, the panels with him in it are packed with so much emotion. If you think this is bad then I really want to know what you think is bad about it and what you would have wanted instead.

According to my head canon but it actually seems to be the case Blast can only sense god's energy, that explains why he didn't intervene against Boros and it also explains how Blast immediately knew about Garou but not about Saitama who was fighting him.
If they were to punch each other so close to the other unconscious heroes, they would kill everyone, i think blast will just teleport the others away or just bring saitama and garou to another dimension right before the impact
OPM has so many incredibly EPIC panels and yet this one of Saitama with the blacked face and shinny eyes suddenly appearing in front of Garou might be my favorite image EVER in any kind of media. What it represents means alot to the hardcore fandom of opm.
Blast was there, he probably gonna teleport both saitama and garou to different planet or even dimension preventing them from destroying the earth... That allow them to bring the power scale up to the next level without risking killing other important characters... Without a doubt after this fight Blast has no choice but to acknowledge Saitama as a freak of nature in terms of power. I wonder if he’ll ask Saitama to join his team.

Blast is suppose to be the strongest, everyone thinks Saitama is weak. This whole point where at is simply for Saitama to flex on everyone and shatter everyone's mind with saitamans ultimate power.
Two small things about this chapter that I found interesting. 1. I feel like zombieman would be immune to the radiation, but since it wouldn't progress the story at all to make him immune Murata decided to just make him become unconscious like the rest of the heroes. 2. Was flashy flash shown to be more resistant to the radiation than the other heroes? He's clearly gripping onto his sword and holding himself up, which makes me find it even more strange that he was shown to be more resistant than even zombieman. That's a really strange choice imo, but maybe murata just likes flashy flash a lot lol. Also this battle has caused so much damage that there's no way bofoi and watchdog man can still just sit on their asses and do nothing, they have to have noticed and they better show up at least after the battle is over, drive knight probably wont come back cuz he was already there and left but those two have great reason to be there, when the entire earth is very much in danger.
We don't really know much about watchdog man but he could have been a potential overpowered character that only cares about protecting his territory. Its weird how he looks like saitama but in a dog suit. But the same eyes of boredom.

I just want to see Saitama punch Garou so hard that he flies into the moon and shatters the moon and continues to fly into space. Saitama, from earth does an ultra serious punch and the pressure from it obliterates Garou.
I love this from character development perspective. Saitama didn't take his 'job' as superhero serious, because for him it never felt serious. And right now, when situation is really serious for the first time, he already failed as a hero.
Glad someone mentioned it. "Do I really have a hero's intuition" wasn't just about not being on time, but believing that Garou wasn't a monster and that he could control the fight and not hurt him. Now he's accepting that he's gonna break his promise to Tareo, but also completely outta control to the point of not realizing he's about to destroy the planet. So blast is gonna have to make them take their fight to another dimension. As for Garou, his own fate is looking pretty bleak unless Blast separates them somehow.
When Murata said that the fight between Saitama and Garou in the manga was going to be on a larger scale than the Boros fight, he wasn’t kidding and he absolutely DELIVERED. I have to admit, out of all the mangas I’ve been reading and keeping up with, THIS manga takes the cake for PEAK writing to me, I have genuinely never been this excited about a single chapter in a manga until now. And to think the next chapter is going to crush it and become my next favorite chapter. Every single chapter for the past month has been 15/10 material. And to think that they’re going to churn out even more mind blowing moments non stop. All those years of wait for this fight was so worth it.

I have this feeling that Blast's abilities are the following:
1.) Gravity manipulation (from his Gravity Knuckle)
2.) Dimension/Space manipulation through Teleportation. (Dimension Cannon - it might be an attack to send Garou to another dimension)
3.) His most powerful attack would be "Singularity or Mini-Blackhole". It's possible based on the damage he had done to the monster that attacked Tatsumaki in the Research Facility. This Singularity/mini-Blackhole is like Dante's attack (Black Clover).
And it seems like Blast is one of the big threats to God the way he reacted when he found out that Blast appeared out of nowhere while God is still talking to Flashy Flash and Saitama.

What I'm thinking is possible is that he uses his black hole ability to literally slow time around Saitama and Garou, which is realistic to how black holes function, to send them to a different dimension.
Being able to manipulate the cosmos, I wont be surprise if Blast is able to control time as well.
In addition to gravity and space manipulation, I believe he’s also an esper (based on how he can deduce what’s in Tatsumaki’s mind when she’s thinking about Fubuki). And if that isn’t awesome enough, the dude also is speculated to be able to control non-living organism (trillions of robots!) and shoot lasers from his eyes.
We need a backstory of who Blast really is.
P/S: Blast’s Dimension Cannon reminds me of Nililanth’s green teleportation spheres in Half Life.

Especially, if we incorporate the basic knowledge of general relativity by Albert Einstein. I just have a little knowledge about the theory of relativity but according to Einstein in his time dilation, the time in an object with gravity is slower than in a gravity-free object since gravity can bend space-time and therefore time. Since Blast can manipulate gravity, therefore, he can also manipulate time. He can make time slower against his opponent while his physical speed and power are unaffected. Time as his power is possible.

The serious punch or normal punch isn't even a move it's just different types of Saitama's effort in punching. But if you notice every single other character in fiction there's always a theme of "surpassing your limit" or whatever, basically punching as hard as you can in every punch. Saitama is still nowhere near that, he hasn't even struggle *yet*
Basically in "Serious mode" that just means Saitama is fighting with the same intent as the other heroes.

I dont know if i like where this is going. One punch man as a main concept has Saitama being invincible and basically not taking any fight seriously, which brings some comedic effect to it. The current fight becomes too much classic shounen, where Saitama has some feeling of regret and revenge for going more serious.

So many to talk about in just one chapter. Garou is so dangerous that normal human beings even s class heroes couldn’t stand his radiation.
Blast lived up to his top rank for keeping up with Garou. It shows that Blast is very experienced in fighting God level disaster. And we get to see him fight for the first time. Blast is proven not just strong but also very smart. This is very exciting!
Garou was able to copy Blast moves in an instant. Blast isn’t too worry about himself but more worried about planet earth.

True, but i wonder why Saitama's full-power blow in fanmade only has a nuclear-like effect, even though an ordinary punch exceeds a nuclear and a serious blow can wipe out the earth very easily.
I think something that would be interesting is Blast taking Saitama and Garou to the moon. This allows serious table flip to happen, and we possibly get to see Blast have some breathing space to help the other S class heros + call for back up from the retcon bros. Garou being defeated on the moon would also tie everything back to god, and also be symbolic of Saitama undermining God's vision.

Based on what I’ve read cosmic fear Garou creating a gamma ray burst is a multi solar system level feat as gamma ray bursts produce more energy than are sun will through its who life and behaves like a supernova that lasts for 1 to 2 minutes so Garou is basically making back to back supernovas.

I believe Blast has yet to show the true extent of his abilities. He effortlessly decked God Garou in the face several times while none of Garou’s nuclear & black hole fists reached him physically (deflected with his abilities). Throughout his long combat history with God (presumably through his former vessels), and all that did is damaged his suit (just like Saitama’s) and a scar on the face. He stated himself that he, and presumably God are the two beings that can manipulate the reality of the cosmos.
Fubuki’s hypothesis is right all along. Blast is the hero that could solo all heroes in the HA, his abilities are just plain awesome & leagues above them all.
That aside, Garou really has done it. He just pissed the one man whose rage everyone in OPM shoud fear the most.
My theory that I'm 100percent confident in is Blast is tatsumaki and fubukis adopted father...he looks back at them when he talks about getting everyone out.He was so proud of tatsumaki on how much she's grown and fubuki is familiar with his strength

A few things. Blast coming in to deal with Garou is part of his containment duty, not him taking a break from it to make his teammates deal with the fallout. This IS the fallout. He probably knows about Garou but not Saitama because what came through the dimensional rip is exactly what reached Garou (and what Garou spoke back with) to get him to this state.
The other things: Garou not actually killing people was a big part of how Saitama reacted in the webcomic fight, Flashy Flash was still shown to be conscious after almost everyone including Bang & Zombieman(!) went down, Garou hasn't actually copied a move until after he's seen it so he shouldn't be able to do that with the serious punch which he's never seen before, and look at Blast's thighs got dam he didn't skip leg day.
We can probably assume that Garou's physical abilities weren't the only things that were enhanced. His mental abilities most likely got buffed too which is why he's able to copy the attack at the same time as he's seeing it for the first time rather than having to see it first.

I was going to comment on this. Saitama is clenching Genos' heart in a way. It was noted by Dr Genus in the beginning how lonely Saitama looked - this is the second time we see this aspect of his personality appear in the manga. Definitely a beautiful image.
My theory is that saitama is still holding his sanity and thinks genos has a hope left to revive. If he didn't he would already obliterate the whole universe or omniverse just to defeat god

Saitama spent the whole series being bored, unable to remember the feeling of a real fight. Now, during a fight he might’ve otherwise enjoyed a little bit, it’s a deeper emptiness. This is the kind of writing you just can’t find in a lot of other battle manga. Saitama has had so many moments where it’s shown he’s a true hero with how he treats others, especially kids. Will that resolve break, will he give up the promise he made to not kill Garo? I can’t wait to find out!

It's absolutely insane how much this arc transcends in scale compared to the webcomic. I remember reading this arc in the webcomic and thinking it was really good and couldn't wait to see it in the manga. But now finally seeing, it became so much more than I could possibly conceive.
The fact that it's longer or even more complex doesn't mean it's better though. I prefer the webcomic, story wise at least.

Giving credit where credit's due. When I read One Punch Man, it's usually semi-predictable in terms of narrative and plot when referring to the webcomic and where a reader might assume the story will turn to. However, the Shueisha manga itself has surprised me endlessly with its noteworthy execution, dialogue, new plot elements, newly inserted actions and transformations, new courses and characters, its all so refined and fun to read that for the first time in a long time I've thoroughly enjoyed a piece of manga to this extent.

Murata keeps upping the game. This chapter is one of the few where I was literally saying holy shit, this is awesome. My only concern is how do they follow this story line? It’s almost like an endgame story with so much happening. How do you follow up fighting god Garou? There are some cool webcomic stories after this but how can they measure up to this?

The thing that stood out to me the most
Saitama: the first time he audibly said out loud he attends to kill someone with a killer move.
Garou is mimicking saitama, but he doesn’t understand saitama fully. Garou will either die or come close to it after this attempt he’s doing.
The way saitama basically said that everything that happened is his fault for not being their on time felt so realistic.
He didn’t start screaming and crying / blaming garou for what he did. He self reflected for a moment, looked at what happened due to him not subduing garou, and then proceeded to put everything he can into killing garou.
I don’t think he screamed his punch either he just tightened up and went right into kill mode.

I'm certain at this point that Blast is the Esper equivalent to Saitama, breaking a limiter reserved for psychic powers. I'm sure all his friends are the same way, and those who break their limiters usually are psychic types with the natural talent and conviction to break through limits. I imagine these are the types of entities sense by God, Blast, and his crew, whereas Saitama is just a regular dude who broke a physical limiter, which is seemingly unheard of since nobody seems to recognize his power, which may have bigger implications for all we know. I'm still confident Saitama is the one above all here though.

this chapter is, to me, by far the best in the series so far. The new levels of power, the impactful deaths of characters we actually care about, and our first glimpse into a truly serious saitama. Also some of the best panels of the series.

If you think this is bad then I really want to know what you think is bad about it and what you would have wanted instead.

OPM has so many incredibly EPIC panels and yet this one of Saitama with the blacked face and shinny eyes suddenly appearing in front of Garou might be my favorite image EVER in any kind of media. What it represents means alot to the hardcore fandom of opm.

Two small things about this chapter that I found interesting.
1. I feel like zombieman would be immune to the radiation, but since it wouldn't progress the story at all to make him immune Murata decided to just make him become unconscious like the rest of the heroes.
2. Was flashy flash shown to be more resistant to the radiation than the other heroes? He's clearly gripping onto his sword and holding himself up, which makes me find it even more strange that he was shown to be more resistant than even zombieman. That's a really strange choice imo, but maybe murata just likes flashy flash a lot lol.
Also this battle has caused so much damage that there's no way bofoi and watchdog man can still just sit on their asses and do nothing, they have to have noticed and they better show up at least after the battle is over, drive knight probably wont come back cuz he was already there and left but those two have great reason to be there, when the entire earth is very much in danger.
