As you say, chasing through it is of little use. So what I always do is literally pick up any quest and just do it. You'll finish the campaign anyway. What has often become apparent is that much of what comes later was flying, for which you often have to achieve certain achievements to unlock it. It also helps my enchanter to dis-enchant all the gear I loot to boost my profession. You will lose a lot of gold because of this, but in the end it is cheaper than having to buy all the enchants at auction house! I go for my main and then the gatherer for the plants, because yes my main is enchanter and alchemist :p Both are druids, so what I don't use on my main goes to my gatherer druid. Warband is very useful for this!
Oh boy the druid dynamic flight is so nice! Was worried they'd add a cast time to it or something, but its just the same form we know and love, juiced up with sky riding, and it's brilliant. Cheers my mate!
3:29 those aren't world quests. They're the zone events that can be completed once for a larger exp again. It is technically "a quest that the world gives you" but it's a separate mechanic from what blizzard calls "world quests", as those grants rep and/or other rewards, like gear and can respawn. These ones are, like a normal quest, completed once only per character. Some of them, like the mushroom one in the first zone, are also highly inefficient and should be avoided if the goal is leveling fast.
I've enjoyed your content, and am looking forward to having your insight as we head into TWW. Would definitely appreciate similar videos to this over the next couple months, and hope the content picks up enough for you to sink your teeth into. It's definitely been a dry patch in terms of feasible content to cover, but excited to see what you do with a crispy, fresh new expansion! 👍
Hey thanks very much, appreciate that mate! The ideas have been flowing reasonably well lately so yup, should be a steady stream of content over the next couple months, then we shall see what the expansion has in store for us! Would love to stream at some point too in the future so that's always a potential, as always mate appreciate the support, thank you!
I know you say take your time on leveling, but will you be making a video showing best side quest hubs? I race with my guildies to see who levels first and would love to see what your thoughts are on the fastest route/options of so many you mentioned.
Hey mate, hmmm that’s a good idea, if I get chance to get round to it I’ll have a crack for sure, got quite a few other video plans to get sorted before launch too! :) there’s a guy I saw the other day who’s already planning his speed runs for levelling, he usually goes for the speed records, streams his runs too, he’s probably the one to watch for speed stuff, I can’t remember his bloomin name though 😬
@LazyBeastGaming Totally understand! If you get to a video in your schedule, that's awesome. If not, I'll have to search around for who you mentioned! Appreciate the response and keep up the comtent grind!
Good question, I’ve yet to look into professions in any depth mate as they’re not usually my strong point! If I get chance to dive into it and have some thoughts to share or tips etc I’ll let you know 🙌🏻
average pace it'll be around 6-8 hours if your focus is to keep levelling but you're taking it kinda chill, as in, no big downtime going off exploring etc
Good Video thank you I do want to say I don't especially agree with letting people in early because of money I did purchase epic I 'm not a rich person but feel little guilty about it.
So it should be easy to get one to 80 through the campaign if you start at 70 right? I wanna do what I can to unlock the earthen and then restart to play as one.
Yeah so I’d say do the campaign and run dungeons as you do, will get you to 80 smoothly, then you can do the earthen unlock and start leveling and you’ll have a 5% xp buff on your earthen levelling journey because of your first character getting 80
This got me too. Sounds like no mob scaling which would be extra nice for multi account purposes early on. I'm too busy on retail to betaas much as I thought I would
@@Grayz_TV Im thinking they scale up, but not down. So the final two zones probably are higher level until you are 80, then they all scale up. Haven't logged into beta to check.
Do the campaign, do the instance quests as they happen. do a handful of side quests. you will hit 80 as you finish the campaign. Similar to the past 7 expansions. Hasn't changed.
Everyone can level how they want. I have found it quite inefficient to do dungeons while leveling in the last few expansions, so I don't. It usually takes me from the launch to 10ish am the next morning just doing quests. Sure, there's probably faster ways, but I doubt it's with dungeons. That way, I'll also get the dungeon gear at the highest possible ilvl when I do it the dungeons at max level (and that gear is usually blue).
So this will start automatically once the expansion goes live! You do apparently need to have competed the harbinger questline from Khadgar that is available now, so make sure that is done, then simply log in at launch and you'll get the quest popping up
I always wondered why youtubers feel the need to tell people there's no need to rush. People who want to rush, will rush. Nobody's gonna get deterred by that piece of advice. And as a side note, there's always reasons if you want them - for example, to get ahead in professions, to start getting max level gear, to start leveling your alts for whatever you need them for (again, maybe professions). And so on. Me - I like "rushing it" for two reasons: 1. I level with a couple friends on that night. We gather up, drink and eat, talk and have fun for the entire night and we're usually max level by 9-10 am next day. It's not the most efficient either, but it's fun and I look forward to it. 2. As a tank, I like doing dungeons on live as fast as possible. I like being new to them only when everyone else is new, I don't want to have some rushing dps bitch and moan about me. Seen it happen a few times in, what, day 2, when some dpses were bitching about other dpses for not knowing what to do or pulling bad numbers. I also like being slightly ahead of the curve with the gear when doing stuff with randoms.
It’s each to their own ain’t it, I just don’t wanna be part of the thing of “you have to rush” because nobody does, I’m more chill when it comes to this stuff. Well all enough in our own ways won’t we 🙌🏻
The way you take a suggestion is overly personal. He's not telling anyone what to do, he's just saying what he suggests. I am definitely "deterred" by his advice because its a nice reminder that we have two weeks to get this done so no reason to rush (unless of course, you want to).
Always hated questing and the combat in wow (I love healing though) and being forced to do so in order to raid makes me want to not play. It's like I've come home after a year and now there's an elephant that occupies the house and no one seems to pay it any mind
sounds like wow isn't for you. OR if you want the sad blizzard answer "that's why we do boosts mid expansion for people that cant be bothered leveling or playing the game. just wait and we'll give you a character that can walk into LFR for the low low price of 80$" but really " i hate the combat in wow " lol, time to move on bro.

how many hours played from 70 to 80 approx?
Roughly 6-8, similar to dragon flight really if you’re questing/dungeons along the way

In August when the expansion launches
