How well do the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 stay in your ears? I've been looking at Beats Fit Pro or the True Wireless 3. As I need noise cancelling buds that don't have a stem so they'll stay inside earmuffs. But also won't just fall out if say I'm working on a car over an engine bay. Where a falling bud could get lost in the engine, or gunked with oil.
Definitely like the design of the Sennheiser over the Airpods. I personally don't care for the white. It looks like you have a Q-tip sticking out of your ear.
I own so many ear phones. Senny 1s, 2s, Airpods and Bowers and Wilkins PI7s. These new Sennheiser 3s are by FAR superior. The ANC is incredible. I sat ‘wow’ every time it kicks in ! Can’t even hear anything in the gym. They are total winners !!! Recommended
@@NameLess-lk2qu Yes, even the new ones. Sennheiser's audio quality is in another order of magnitude. Sennheiser does professional quality audiophile audio equipment. Its sound embarrasses even the likes of Sony, which has been in the audio business for generations. It's as real as you can get. Apple sound is mediocre at best in comparison. It's like comparing a race car with a Toyota Prius in terms of sound. The Airpods are decent for their own class, but against one of the best audio brands out there they don't stand a chance because, even though they are very tech savvy, they lack the audio expertise Sennheiser has. The only good reason to get airpods is if you use a lot of Apple products, in which case you can take advantage of the specific Apple connectivity. Otherwise, there's absolutely no reason to spend all that money on them.
haven't finished the video yet but i've owned both and it's not even nearly competition, even though they were released at the exact same price. the sound quality of the Airpods is straight up trash and even the much cheaper Galaxy Buds Pro sound a lot better, even though they're almost half the price. where as the sound quality of the Sennheiser Momentum 3s is the best i've ever heard in my fkn life, and theyre very reliable too. which is why i don't understand for the life of me why the were both released at the same price. so if anyone is thinking of upgrading or choosing which one to buy always go with Sennheiser, because they never disappoint. where as Apple definitely does when it comes to audio
Was thinking if i should take these ones, or airpods pro... What would you suggest ? I talk much on the phone and also i switch connection from iphone to macbook 1000 times a day from my airpods v1...as far as i understood the bluetooth 5.2 gives opporunity to connect to 2 devices simulatniusly , so ill be able to connect to my iphone and macbook the same time ? and also are there many bugs in that aspect also ? like when i get calls on iphone but i am listening to some audio thing on macbook .... would it stop the macbook and switch to iphone call and then reverse to macboook ? @@inv3st_eth839 i believe it can do that but i havent tested out myself. if youre looking for better quality then always go for Sennhieser. and honestly the Airpods aren't even in the same league as earphones that cost half its price so it should never be an option when comparing it to something like the Momentum 3s
@@davidgergye6612 bro the sennhieser's are in a COMPLETELY different league. i cannot express to you how much better they are in terms of sound, customisation and noise counselling. and the funny thing is both earphones were released at the same price, which is fucking mind blowing to me because the Sennhieser's are considered top 3 in ear headphones on the market. i couldn't recommend them more, but when you buy them make sure to try all sizes of wing tips and earbuds because for me my left ear was Medium earbuds and my right ear used Large earbuds. and i used Medium wing tips for both ears. also for noise counselling use "Anti Wind" mode for outside use and "On" mode for indoor use. ive been collecting high end earphones for the past 12 years and these are definitely the best so far without a doubt
I haven’t heard the TW3’s yet, but I own the AirPods Pro and the TW2’s and the TW2’s sound considerably better. To be fair, the AirPods Pro are better than the TW2 in other ways.
As someone that has gone through 3 pairs of sonys xm4 (left earpiece kept breaking and sounding weaker on each set) i decided to try the sennheisner mtw3 and so far i am pleased. The foam eartips on the xm4 kept ripping after some use, so i had to use some spin fit ear pieces. The ear piece on the xm4 was a bit more difficult to stay in the ear due to it being more bigger than mtw3. The noise cancelling only worked on the left earpiece when using the xm4 when using 1 piece, while on the mtw3 you get on both left and right while using 1 earpiece. Xm4 had some nice features like when i would speak it would activate ambient sound and pause the music, but to be honest it was a blessing and a curse since i couldn't say single word without it pausing my music.
They sound similar but the mtw3 has more bass , in term of anc i didn't noticed much deference they both block alot of noise and the senhaiser mtw3 is lighter than the xm4 and probably much comfortable for most ppl

@nicko_spekt Due to them being smaller the mtw3 are more comfortable. I've gone hours at a time listening without any fatigue, but everyone is different honestly id say try for yourself and return them if they don't suit you.
i just purchased them 3 days ago and i highly recommended them. the sound quality is incredible and theyre very comfortable to wear. ive also owned the Airpods and its not even a fair comparison, theyre straight up worthless trash compared to the Sennheisers

@@Hagonish yes it helps block out a bit of the sound and it makes the fit a lot more snug, especially compared to the previous generation Momentum 2. and theyre very comfortable to wear to if you have the right size on
i had the air pods pro, u need to go to spotify EQ settings and crank the bass up and treable and then they have good bass, i have no earlier experience on other earbuds but im going for the sennheiser cuz as long that the sennheiser have better quality and driver it will automaticly become better then the airpods pro :D

I don't get it why people choose seamless connectivity over sound quality? Once you jook up the buds they connect to you phone seamlessly and quickly. True that APs do it couple of seconds quicker on iPhone. But is it really that important? I would choose sound quality over connectivity any day. But that just me. I am glad that the market offers good products for any demand :)
i just purchased the Momentum 3s a couple days ago and i highly recommend you get yourself a pair, the sound quality is literally the best ive ever heard. ive also owned the Airpods Pro and the sound quality and ANC is fucking pathetic compared to the Momentums, like i can't understand for the life of me as to why they were released at the same price, cause the Airpods arent even nearly in the same league as the Momentums or any other earphones at that price range for that matter.

I’ve had the AirPods Pro for 2.5 years. The left one has a hissing sound on noise cancellation and transparency mode. None of the “fixes” on they’re website worked. Noise cancellation was the main reason I bought the Pro and now it’s unusable. I’m getting the Sennheisers 3 and I hope they last longer.
Size wise are these smaller than the momentum 2s? I found those too bulky looking in the ear, these look about the same. Probably better off waiting on Air Pod Pro 2s.
I know, the transparency mode is "that" good, but so many have caught up with half price, or even in the same price range ,but every other thing is better in every way in the same price range than the airpods Pro And personally, i would choose every other thing that's better instead of just "the best" ambient mode/transparency mode
Airpods may connect to Android but it has a huge drawback especially for me and that is lightning port. I don't want a hassle of buying a new cable and plugging different adapters/cables everytime I want to charge it.

The big difference not mentioned here is that the Sennheiser go deeper inside the ear canal and in my experience start itching after a while. For on the go portability and comfort to me it’s Airpods Pro all day because I can literally wear them for their full charge without even noticing them.
I'm sorry but no, there is a huge difference using Airpods with Android. I've had so many problems including updating the firmware that I will never buy apple again. As Linus of LTT has said, according to Apple, I'm an Apple customer - just not enough of one for them to care. I gave them a shot with air pod pros after swearing off them a decade ago when I got an early iPhone. It was exactly the same experience - terrible.
Sennheiser is the best overall sound quality and noise cancelling. Great battery life, and they use the type C USB Cable for charging. The best wireless earbuds I have listened to and own. The detail of sound throughout the whole frequency range is really amazing from an in the ear earbud. They also look better than the Apple stems sticking out of your ears. The ability to turn off the music and amplify the ambient sound is great for shopping where you need to talk to people and you do not have to remove the earbud. They also fit well under my winter hat."I like them, I like them a lot."!!!!
Sennheiser should seriously consider adding multipoint with an update. If the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and 1More Evo didn't exist and I was willing to pay more than $150 for TWS, surely I would have chosen the Sennheiser.
Great review! I'm daily driving the airpods pro coming from the sony wf1000xm3. The airpods felt so much smaller in my pockets and it connected flawlessly to my iphone everytime! (connection issues was the main reason I changed) Of course, one drawback is the sound quality. However, people always talk about sound quality like it's 0/5 for airpods and 5/5 for sony but in reality it's more like 4/5 for airpods and maybe 4.5/5 for the sony. When using it in public transport I barely noticed the difference with it! For commuting this small of a difference matters less than convenience so...airpods pro it is! However, I used to have the sennheiser cx890i and it's still one of the best sounding in-ear out there! I always loveeeee how the sennheiser sound, so I might try this out at the store and see if it could convince me to go back to Sennheiser as my daily driver! I hope it doesn't feel too bulky to carry in my pockets and no connection issues please!
The sound is crZy on these but I’ve been having connection issues with mine as of late they need to do an update cause it’s a little annoying but when they work they are flawless
I still use a ipod nano for music sometimes when working out. If I use the sennheiser 3 and set them up on my phone will these settings stay for ipod listening?
As far as I know they do. I set my Momentum 3s ( not the ones in the video but the big headphones ) on my phone and then connect them to the PS5 through cable, the settings stay even tho the phone is disconnected.
I think the airpods look like a regular earphone with cut wires. I loathe its design. I'm willing to buy the iPhone 14 when it's released, and sometimes they give the airpods for free during release time of the iPhones.. I hope they redo the design, because I think I would end up not using it and buying the Sennheiser!
I love my senheiser headphones and really want the momentum 3 but I got the airpod pros for $160 on Amazon and was pretty impressed. Enough that I can’t justify an extra $90 for the senheiser experience.
I bought both of these and airpods pro went straight to cex, its like comparing a bicycle to a car, if sennheisers are €250 then airpods should cost not more than €50
i use the "jetaudio" player app on my iphone and it has an Eq. i use it to eq my sony wf 1000xm3 and it works like a charm and i cant see why it wouldnt work with the airpods
In the mic test what I can see I can hear your voice a lot more clear on the Airpod pros but the Sennheiser's Momentum 3 did block a bit more sound. The Sennheiser's Momentum 3 are just better compared to the stats and price of its comfort, sound and features. The pros are average earbuds and great for the ecosystem but earbuds are getting better and cheaper earbuds like the Jabra or Sennheiser's of their many options of price of their products.
Yes, i very pleased and happy with this MTW3. I use wf-1000xm4 before, and very happy. Just one issue: this MTW3 sound quiter than sony? I'm using samsung s22 ultra with aptx
This goes to show that Apple seriously needs to update the AirPods Pro. They're showing their age now. I have just switched back to my AirPods Pro after using several other brands. Being an Apple user, the AirPods Pro is still the best feature-wise. With that said, these don't sound good to me anymore. I'm thinking of switching to these or switching back to my Liberty 3 Pros.
I got full into apple ecosystem quite recently and ended up going for the airpods for the H1 chip quality of life things that they have. I care about music quality and can hear the difference about great and amazing sound but for the best sound quality I use wired headphones as I only get that focused on music at home and when purposefully aiming for it. Ended up appreciating the really satisfying way the airpods case clicks open/close LOL.
Yeah same here. Iused to have the sont xm3 but ditched it for airpods pro and the user experience for the airpods pro is everything (given you have apple products) Yes, it does sound worse but it's not a bad sounding headphones by any means. Also, while commuting I care about convenience more then small drop in sound quality

Don't count apple out, they are still young in the game. Sennheiser and the other major players in this sector have been in the audio business for years. If I know apple they will eventually surpass and be a leader in this category. As much as I dislike them and the high prices they charge and the locked down and locked into ecosystem they force it's users in. They most always come out in the lead in the long haul.
Sennheiser have specialised in producing audio equipment since 1945, when it comes to quality of sound Apple are inferior. I recently just sold my airpod pros and purchased the momentum true wireless 3s and the difference is night and day.
Personally as a AirPods Pro user with iPad/MacBook/iPhone...I really hate the seamless transition feature because sometimes I'll be listening to lectures on my laptop and it auto-connects to my damn phone because I opened UA-cam. It seems to always prioritise my phone instead of my MacBook and it sucks ALOT.
I can get my hands on brand new Airpods Pro for 140 dollars because of a friend, would yall reckon it to be worth it or am I better of waiting on the pro's 2?
I’m here cause I just bought another pair of AirPod Pro 2’s, the USB-C version although that honestly doesn’t even matter to me at all because I already have a lightning cable for my IPhone 13 Pro Max so I personally never got as butthurt as some others did about Apple not switching to USB-C. Plus I RARELY ever plug mine in to charge, I simply use my MagSafe charger for my iPhone and AirPods. Having said all that, I bought them but then I was just looking on Best Buy’s app and I see where the Sennheiser MTW 3’s are on sale for $200. So I’m trying to decide if it’s better to keep my APP 2’s (which for the record I LOVE, my ONLY 2 complaints are I wish there was more bass and I wish the batteries lasted longer because I’m one of those rare people who wear them ALL DAY EVERY DAY) OR should I return them (I just bought them Wednesday from Target) and buy the Sennheiser MTW 3’s?

I have both 3 weeks into using the momentum the right bud stopped charging thankfully Amazon refunded me, I can’t deal with non Apple customer support, ive had that OG AirPods and the pros and have never had them break but the momentum’s from after only a few weeks
To be honest, I kinda don't understand ANC hype. I have Galaxy Buds Pro, but I didn't recognize between having ANC on or off (transparency mode off). Seals from my point of view just do the "requred" job.
The Sennheiser MTW3 is adaptive ANC. It's extremely good when moving between different environments like in a crowded cafe, train, plane etc... Some buds only have on or off like the Sennheiser MTW2 and for me it wasn't too effective. Bose for example have manual ANC adjustment in the app. Bose for me are still ANC kings.
No one addresses the biggest issue here . Momentum wireless headphones just stop working after 2 years and they are non serviceable past that . You’re basically buying a commodity. I have true wireless 1 and 2 and both died and I’m never gonna buy their headphones. It just fails after 2 years.

If you wanna compare the Momentum TW3s with something, compare them to the Beoplay EXs or WF XM4s. The AirPods Pro simply don't compare.

Great review. MTW3 are far better. Just one press on left side and I get Siri; very simple. They sound amazing with Tidal.

The young generation expect everyone instantly these days.. these are for music so sound is the only thing that should be wanted above anything else

i just purchased the Momentum 3s a couple days ago and i highly recommend you get yourself a pair, the sound quality is literally the best ive ever heard. ive also owned the Airpods Pro and the sound quality and ANC is fucking pathetic compared to the Momentums, like i can't understand for the life of me as to why they were released at the same price, cause the Airpods arent even nearly in the same league as the Momentums or any other earphones at that price range for that matter.

I’ve had the AirPods Pro for 2.5 years. The left one has a hissing sound on noise cancellation and transparency mode. None of the “fixes” on they’re website worked. Noise cancellation was the main reason I bought the Pro and now it’s unusable. I’m getting the Sennheisers 3 and I hope they last longer.

Size wise are these smaller than the momentum 2s? I found those too bulky looking in the ear, these look about the same. Probably better off waiting on Air Pod Pro 2s.
Good comparison. But the one feature that gets overlooked by many reviewers is the transparency mode on the AirPods Pro. Makes a big difference to me.
Yeah Momentum 2’s and 3’s have the transparency mode
I know, the transparency mode is "that" good, but so many have caught up with half price, or even in the same price range ,but every other thing is better in every way in the same price range than the airpods Pro
And personally, i would choose every other thing that's better instead of just "the best" ambient mode/transparency mode

Airpods may connect to Android but it has a huge drawback especially for me and that is lightning port.

The big difference not mentioned here is that the Sennheiser go deeper inside the ear canal and in my experience start itching after a while. For on the go portability and comfort to me it’s Airpods Pro all day because I can literally wear them for their full charge without even noticing them.

I'm sorry but no, there is a huge difference using Airpods with Android. I've had so many problems including updating the firmware that I will never buy apple again. As Linus of LTT has said, according to Apple, I'm an Apple customer - just not enough of one for them to care. I gave them a shot with air pod pros after swearing off them a decade ago when I got an early iPhone. It was exactly the same experience - terrible.

Sennheiser is the best overall sound quality and noise cancelling. Great battery life, and they use the type C USB Cable for charging.
The best wireless earbuds I have listened to and own.
The detail of sound throughout the whole frequency range is really amazing from an in the ear earbud.
They also look better than the Apple stems sticking out of your ears. The ability to turn off the music and amplify the ambient sound is great for shopping where you need to talk to people and you do not have to remove the earbud. They also fit well under my winter hat."I like them, I like them a lot."!!!!
Sennheiser should seriously consider adding multipoint with an update.
If the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and 1More Evo didn't exist and I was willing to pay more than $150 for TWS, surely I would have chosen the Sennheiser.

Great review! I'm daily driving the airpods pro coming from the sony wf1000xm3. The airpods felt so much smaller in my pockets and it connected flawlessly to my iphone everytime! (connection issues was the main reason I changed) Of course, one drawback is the sound quality. However, people always talk about sound quality like it's 0/5 for airpods and 5/5 for sony but in reality it's more like 4/5 for airpods and maybe 4.5/5 for the sony. When using it in public transport I barely noticed the difference with it! For commuting this small of a difference matters less than convenience so...airpods pro it is! However, I used to have the sennheiser cx890i and it's still one of the best sounding in-ear out there! I always loveeeee how the sennheiser sound, so I might try this out at the store and see if it could convince me to go back to Sennheiser as my daily driver! I hope it doesn't feel too bulky to carry in my pockets and no connection issues please!
The sound is crZy on these but I’ve been having connection issues with mine as of late they need to do an update cause it’s a little annoying but when they work they are flawless
I still use a ipod nano for music sometimes when working out. If I use the sennheiser 3 and set them up on my phone will these settings stay for ipod listening?
As far as I know they do. I set my Momentum 3s ( not the ones in the video but the big headphones ) on my phone and then connect them to the PS5 through cable, the settings stay even tho the phone is disconnected.

I think the airpods look like a regular earphone with cut wires. I loathe its design. I'm willing to buy the iPhone 14 when it's released, and sometimes they give the airpods for free during release time of the iPhones.. I hope they redo the design, because I think I would end up not using it and buying the Sennheiser!
I love my senheiser headphones and really want the momentum 3 but I got the airpod pros for $160 on Amazon and was pretty impressed. Enough that I can’t justify an extra $90 for the senheiser experience.

i use the "jetaudio" player app on my iphone and it has an Eq. i use it to eq my sony wf 1000xm3 and it works like a charm and i cant see why it wouldnt work with the airpods
In the mic test what I can see I can hear your voice a lot more clear on the Airpod
pros but the Sennheiser's Momentum 3 did block a bit more sound. The Sennheiser's Momentum 3 are just better compared to the stats and price of its comfort, sound and features. The pros are average earbuds and great for the ecosystem but earbuds are getting better and cheaper earbuds like the Jabra or Sennheiser's of their many options of price of their products.

This goes to show that Apple seriously needs to update the AirPods Pro. They're showing their age now. I have just switched back to my AirPods Pro after using several other brands. Being an Apple user, the AirPods Pro is still the best feature-wise. With that said, these don't sound good to me anymore. I'm thinking of switching to these or switching back to my Liberty 3 Pros.

I got full into apple ecosystem quite recently and ended up going for the airpods for the H1 chip quality of life things that they have. I care about music quality and can hear the difference about great and amazing sound but for the best sound quality I use wired headphones as I only get that focused on music at home and when purposefully aiming for it.
Ended up appreciating the really satisfying way the airpods case clicks open/close LOL.

Iused to have the sont xm3 but ditched it for airpods pro and the user experience for the airpods pro is everything (given you have apple products) Yes, it does sound worse but it's not a bad sounding headphones by any means. Also, while commuting I care about convenience more then small drop in sound quality

Don't count apple out, they are still young in the game. Sennheiser and the other major players in this sector have been in the audio business for years. If I know apple they will eventually surpass and be a leader in this category. As much as I dislike them and the high prices they charge and the locked down and locked into ecosystem they force it's users in. They most always come out in the lead in the long haul.
Sennheiser have specialised in producing audio equipment since 1945, when it comes to quality of sound Apple are inferior. I recently just sold my airpod pros and purchased the momentum true wireless 3s and the difference is night and day.

Personally as a AirPods Pro user with iPad/MacBook/iPhone...I really hate the seamless transition feature because sometimes I'll be listening to lectures on my laptop and it auto-connects to my damn phone because I opened UA-cam. It seems to always prioritise my phone instead of my MacBook and it sucks ALOT.
The senhaiser sound much better but the volume is so low compared to airpods 😢

I’m here cause I just bought another pair of AirPod Pro 2’s, the USB-C version although that honestly doesn’t even matter to me at all because I already have a lightning cable for my IPhone 13 Pro Max so I personally never got as butthurt as some others did about Apple not switching to USB-C. Plus I RARELY ever plug mine in to charge, I simply use my MagSafe charger for my iPhone and AirPods. Having said all that, I bought them but then I was just looking on Best Buy’s app and I see where the Sennheiser MTW 3’s are on sale for $200. So I’m trying to decide if it’s better to keep my APP 2’s (which for the record I LOVE, my ONLY 2 complaints are I wish there was more bass and I wish the batteries lasted longer because I’m one of those rare people who wear them ALL DAY EVERY DAY) OR should I return them (I just bought them Wednesday from Target) and buy the Sennheiser MTW 3’s?

SMTW3 is the winner reason airpods are for apple, when used with android some Features don't work. Sennheiser for the win they work on both platforms.
To be honest, I kinda don't understand ANC hype. I have Galaxy Buds Pro, but I didn't recognize between having ANC on or off (transparency mode off). Seals from my point of view just do the "requred" job.
The Sennheiser MTW3 is adaptive ANC. It's extremely good when moving between different environments like in a crowded cafe, train, plane etc...
Some buds only have on or off like the Sennheiser MTW2 and for me it wasn't too effective.
Bose for example have manual ANC adjustment in the app. Bose for me are still ANC kings.

No one addresses the biggest issue here . Momentum wireless headphones just stop working after 2 years and they are non serviceable past that . You’re basically buying a commodity. I have true wireless 1 and 2 and both died and I’m never gonna buy their headphones. It just fails after 2 years.
