*Update!! I started messing around more with multipoint since I still have time with the TWS 4. It does work much better with my simple Fire Tablet and my Phone. Music through my tablet, calls answered seamless on my phone and then back to tablet when I hung up. There was a day 1 firmware update that was not out when I filmed the video. It's possible there were some stability fixes implemented. It also worked well with my Asus Vivobook with my phone.

cant wait to get them - had a problem with my tws3 - contacted amazon, they connected me with Sennheiser, which made me send my tws3 to repair - just got the tracking link for the model MTW4 - so I guess they couldn't repair it and upgraded me too...
I also have mtw3. I ordered mtw 4 today. The only thing I found missing in mtw is the ldac codec. The review was excellent by the way.I just subscribed my friend, I wish you success in your channel.

Really enjoyed this review. I find the new Bluetooth features to be very promising - particularly multipoint, as I am often working with earbuds in listening to music and it would be nice to be able to switch from my pc to my phone when a call comes in. I'm intrigued by Auracast, as I think its best use case is yet to be invented. Tons of potential there, for sure.

Although it seems a bit much to spend for a tws, but I guess the top tier anc is really good for concentrating. Appreciate the feedback on the mic. I'll be sure to do that on the next earbud video I do. The gloves are nice...I tend to have oily skin so helps with that. Black gloves block the product too much, so white it is.

They have many failed models in mtw 3 series. I bought second hand and guy I bought from said ones Im getting are replaced ones and he wanted to switch. Thankfully I have zero complaints for 6 months now but you should give a second thought.
Awsome earbuds great sound and features im thinking the less sharpness sound default is supposed to be less ear fatigue its good to be able to adjust it if need be
One big problem that I had with previous TW3 was its aggressive aptX Adaptive algorithm that would audibly drop the sound quality at smallest disturbance. Basically impossible to use on a busy street. The sound would become lower, more compressed, mono-like and it would take up to 5 secs before it recovered. This made the codec pretty much useless for anything but listening in disturbance free home environment. I got rid of the buds eventually. But i miss their sound (when they were stable they really sounded good!). I've never really found an in-ear model later with the same sound quality (B&W Pi7 that i took as replacement is imo overhyped). So I kind of would like to give TW4 chance but wonder if they suffer from the same flawed aptX Adaptive implementation as described above.
It was. I did some digging and found others with a few issues. Seems it didn't launch with multipoint with the 3. Also it could be my particular setup with PC and phone. I'm curious if an iPhone would perform better. I'd almost call my experience incomplete. I still have them a week, if I can figure something out, I'll pin a comment on it.

The customer service repaired or replaced them. But you had to wait days or weeks to use your Sennheisers again and enjoy the great sound they have. Those repeating technical problems should not happen to a premium product IMHO.
Guess the problem is that they never really „sleep“ in their case… and if they not been used u still need to charge them if not they „die“ 😢 just got a replacement from TW3 to TW4

Well, my experience with Sennheiser was this: Yes, you have to find the right ear tips... yes, you have to find the right EQ... but afterwards, they sound phenomenal. However, most of the other features meaning "except sound quality" are so so. And mine broke twice. Thankfully, each time Sennheiser sent me a new set. The last one was the updated 4th version. I have a Sony too, you know, just in case. 😄
From everything I've read, the MTW 4 have fixed all the battery issues the MTW 3 had and Sennheiser switched battery manufacturers. It appears Sony XM5 are now being affected by this issue, tons of reports of one earbud just straight up dying or acting up.
I have not sampled the Bose personally, however, I've been told by others that the Bose have some of the best ANC. I'd say the ANC of the Sennheiser is just so-so. I think the Sony xm5 are better at ANC than these.
Ever used either of these on a motorcycle with a build in sound system such as on a Indian challenger, BMW or Harley? Categories are ANC, connectivity, sound quality? Thanks.

Skeeb, yep still riding at 70. Indian Challenger. Good sounds system integral to the bike. Would like a good earbud setup with decent noise cancelling and sound quality. Probably will get the Momentum 4.
Previous versions definitely had issues with different codecs. Samsung has been stingy and kept them hidden as to want others to use their own ecosystem. With the LE Audio supported on the S24 Ultra I believe that finally unlocked all the codecs too.
@gsxer13 The samsung codec issue is very muddy. As I said above, it looks like the latest models will have it thanks to the LE audio support. What is frustrating is that previous versions could have it as well but samsung wants you to use their tech with their buds. I do like the audio quality of samsung though, but wish codecs were unlocked on all.
If only the call quality was as better they would be the absolute King. Sadly call quality is just average and doesn’t have the hardware to fix. A shame. Otherwise perfect.
I would never ever buy this brand again. They are crap. With the previous model l had connectivity all the time. When l took them to yhe gym they kept failing out. It's not a good look when you have continuously stop running on the treadmill and chase your buds around. Bad customer service as well.
Read some reviews and you will see they are not. They are an upgrade in several ways (better noice cancellation, new IP54 rating, slightly longer battery life, slight audio improvement, overhauled BT technology not to forget the absolutely gorgeous copper black option) and several reviewers already believe they have the best sound of all comparable earbuds (except the more expensive Denon). What remains to be seen is how durable they are and if they don't have all the problems Momentum 3 unfortunately had.

Hiss? Perhaps at the highest volume of transparency, but I thought it worked well and didn't notice a hiss on the level I need. It will pick up wind outside though...too bad you can't use transparency with the anti wind. But I suppose you need the mics for both.

I'm all for admitting when I miss something, but, can you tell me where you found they are different drivers? The chipset is updated of course, but that is not a driver. I searched and did not see anything about the driver changing...and what changed if it did.

A channel name change would help. Maybe something more about what the channel is about since. Kraken Tech. Tech Kraken, etc.

Also agree that the sound personalisation was great. The 5 band eq didn't do much at all from my pov.
As I recall sound personalization was key but volume/loudness was an issue vs say Denon Perl Pro and Between 3 ANC.

Best is PerL Pro so far on SQ only; now I loved my M3’s but came short on volume as I recall.
The TWS IEMs I use the most now is the Creative Aurvana Ace 2 with xMEMs!

I got the 3s last year and they performed great until the left ear bud failed . I'd love to get the 3s again but I think the smarter choice Is the 4s

I have both and notice the 4s sound clearer and bass is nice but the 3s to ke sounded louder.

How’s the noise csncelling compared to the Bose quiet comfort ultra ?
I have not sampled the Bose personally, however, I've been told by others that the Bose have some of the best ANC. I'd say the ANC of the Sennheiser is just so-so. I think the Sony xm5 are better at ANC than these.

The momentum 3's have a hi-res mode that you can turn on/off. Does the momentum 4 have this as well/implement it in a different way or is it gone?
Yes it can be toggled on/off and includes lossless as an option too.
