Anime's pokemon league rule number 1 :
Introduction of random character/rival right before league = Ash lose.
The only time they ever broke that rule was with Alain in the Kalos league.
@@samuelgarza2466 And that's why I was less bitter about that one than the others, especially sinnoh. I would have been less bitter about Cameron if he actually brought a sixth pokemon.
@@samuelgarza2466 alain was shown in the mega evolution specials so we sorta knew him before
Alain: Am I a joke to you?
Sinnoh was total bs
I’m I the only one that thinks that ash’s Corphish is underrated?? Like it put up a nice fight in this league and was really really solid during the whole gen 3 anime
I agree
Absolutely, I think Grovlye, Swellow and Corphish were his best Hoenn Pokemon, as Glalie was really good but only for the league and Torkoal was shafted most of the time.
I think the anime wanted to show that although rocket's meowth was an idiot, not all meowths are. And after all, cats are stronger than mice
The problem i have with the hoenn region is that theres no main rival at the start but sinnoh fixed it with paul
love your videos, especially your reviews
About hte Meowth thing... I mean it was already established to be a really powerful pokemon even if it refused to evolve. Also, Ash's Pikachu can do miracles like facing and beating legendaries, so I don't see why this Meowth couldn't be the same with the amount of development and showing of his strength that we got.
Can we mention the fact Persian took that Meowth down with a Shadow Ball makes no sense?
Honestly, after Thunder Armor happened, I had lost all patience for any raw battling in this show. Strategy doesn't matter. Skill doesn't matter. Basic logic and the very laws of the universe itself don't matter. In this show, any Pokémon can win or lose for any reason, no matter how crazy or stupid the reason may be, so if there's no personal connection with any rival in the tournament, I just clock out and wait for Ash to lose so the show can get interesting again.
Hey that's my favorite arc League
Advanced arc was the best
The last league with the original voice actors, makes it that much more special.
Quite a fierce league, but half of Ash's team couldn't really shine...
I like this series
Zac : a team of fully evolved Beasts. Me : Well Except his puss in boots (Meowth)
There was always something that confused me. After Ash’s match against Hitmonlee dude, Brock said that that round was to narrow the contenders down 2 the top 256. Ash’s match against Katie was the Top 32 battle. Meaning that Ash had to battle in three double battles (1st one=4 the top 256, 2nd one=4 the top 128, and 3rd one=4 the top 64) However, we only saw TWO of the double battles, being the top 256 and top 64. Did the writers forget to show Ash’s top 128 battle, or did they not have enough time to write it?
Sandra Wu I think that they did skip it. If I remember correctly there WAS 3 double battle rounds but they only showed 2. Now that I'm thinking about it, hoenn technically was the longest league as far as rounds. First the 1 vs 1 round, then the 3 double battle rounds, then the top 32 6 vs 6 rounds which had 5.(32,16,8,4,2).
Good Point! I never noticed that! Yeah I feel like it was just skipped, but I feel like we got enough battles already so we didn't need much more. Adding the missing battles will just make the League even longer and drawn out.
Lumiose Trainer Zac Good point.
you seriously can't compare a conference winner's meowth with team rocket's meowth
This is one my least favourite league losses for ash. it would've been better if he had lost to Tyson's metagross instead of his meowth and say what you want about tobias but at least that battle was epic.
Ryan Law still not as bad as losing to a trainer with a handicap
@@TheJaredPunch I know, that's why I said ONE of my least favourite league losses, But we'll get to that later.
@@maldon3659 Maybe Tyson's Meowth was stronger than his Metagross.
stampoulis rafail I HIGHLY doubt it
i...never saw this league
i started watching pokemon mid-way threw the battle frontier
God I really hated this league. The writers were probably lazy to bring back Ash's old Pokemon, another factor is the Meowth has a more powerful thunderbolt than Pikachu was pretty annoying.
List of Best Leagues:
1.Kalos
2. Sinnoh
3. Johto
4. Hoenn
5.Alola
6. Kanto
7.Unova
bone club effective on a gligar.. makes sense
Enter [insert generic looking League rival here]
Let's be fair with the Meowth. Tysons Meowth got a ass load of training and actually wins stuff while Team Rocket's Meowth is weak. The difference between the two Meowth is that one has a lot of battle experience and wins, while the other literally gets defeated without a problem. One-hitting every meowth won't prepare you for that one meowth that can't be defeated in one shot
Agree! This meowth was equivalent to Ash pikachu basically.
Who ever thought that a mere pikachu will be so OP lol
Tactician Robin Agreed, I think Tyson's Meowth is the greatest even though, he dressed like Puss n' Boots.
I think you mean "Meowth-in-Boots" lol
I realy liked pikachu vs meowth and realy look at the difference
tyson's meowth - a lot of battle expirince, slash, iron tail, double team and thunderbolt
team rocket's meowth - no battle expirince and only knows fury swipes
Hey. No dissing meowth.
Man, Pikachu sucked in this league. But Katie, though...
Heracross X Pikachu didn’t do much in the Johto either
I remember really hating Katie because I thought she was a freaking coward for constantly switching Pokémon so she got the type advantage lol
@@alpha-sama it may be a little cowardly to you but it's actually a smart strategy to make sure you win
@@deathxanamon7211 Yes, I realize that now but I was like 7 years old back then so yeah..
Pikachu? Torkoal was pretty pathetic.
To be fair to Pikachu...you really have to blame Ash for its two early faints against Katie and Morrison. Seriously, Ash let it battle a Dugtrio and a Steelix! Thunderbolt and Thunder do 0 damage against them and Iron Tail and Quick Attack aren't very effective on Steelix haha
Abilities were a thing in this season so you could say that arena trap prevented switching
Dugtrio and Steelix have arena trap?
@@isaacstevenson2960 dugtrio had this ability
Yeah, like that's ever stopped anyone in the anime.
Which season which episode was it
Was nice they included some full fights that wasn't rivals only.
Yes! A problem I have with later leagues is that they skip battles if it's not with a rival. I love that this one shows ALL of Ash's battles so you're with him throught his entire climb up the ranks!
This is honestly what really makes the Hoenn league stand out from the rest. It was the last league that fully played out matches against people who weren't significant to the plot but were still no less capable. And when it came to that, it easily did it the best. We even got one more full battle than we usually do cause they were willing to have Ash go full 6 on 6 with a never before seen trainer just to show the challenge. Doing this shows just how tough the climb is overall while also giving us more fun action. Later series only give the major characters focus which ultimately leads to less action overall which can be quite glaring at times. The Unova and Kalos leagues are huge offenders in this regard.
@@TimG57867 well kalos league be like lets try finishing the league as fast as we can
@@TimG57867 tbf the alloa league kinda did that as well
@@majesticmo3993 Alola did fully showcase its league but every match beyond the Battle Royale involved a major or supporting character. We didn’t get to see too much talent that we weren’t at least somewhat familiar with.
This is the reason why I like Ash's Swellow so much. It's so underrated...
Very.
Zack Sixoor ikr. It’s ash’s 2nd best flying type
@@Zactoshi you should make a video about ash's most underrated Pokémon
Swellow is actually my favorite flying type.
Finally someone recognised my boy
"Leaving Ash's fate to Glalie of all pokemon"
Yeah; it's not like Ash's Glalie has lost a SINGLE BATTLE and has caused trainers to resort to immediate Destiny Bond strats. Glalie was Ash's powerhouse. And it's wins were against disadvantages.
i kinda wsih glaile had been used against tobias. it would have been awsome seeing glalie tie aginst latios and frcing tobias to use his third pokemon aginst pikachu
Hey, if ash was gonna lost, at least make his defeat look as flashy as possible
@@ianr.navahuber2195 glalie should've gotten a battle frontier moment like against Lucy or something
Honestly, Pikachu losing to a Meowth isn't that surprising. Team Rocket's Meowth is pretty well-established to be a wimp. He gave up any chance of being a good fighter when he devoted his life to learning to talk and walk like a human. Tyson's Meowth had to learn how to walk again too, but he used that to become stronger.
10:21 looks like swallow didn't skip leg day
Wait doesnt he do rollout That should do No effect on swellow
@@Firefly9433 it's a rock type not ground type move.
Oh I thought it was ground
Brook The Staraptor *swellow
Oh my gosh XD
Swellow was the mvp during this league for sure!
LeafBladeX True, honorable mention was Glalie technically not losing a match, 2 wins and 2 draws
@@vaporterra glalie was atle to defeat charizard metang and dogtrio it tied with misdrivus and sceptile
after swellow it was the best for sure
Too bad swellow didn't show up in sinnoh, why the hell did aerial ace miss?
@@Andy999pro it did show up in sinnoh
@@Andy999pro It got beat by Latios
I honestly, wish more battles in the series were like the Katie one. She's shown to have a serious grasp on strategy and tactics, and there was a time when I thought Ash would lose.
Sadly most battles afterwards pretty much fell back into the same tired formula.
I know but probsbly is because ash is too stupid to defeat those guys with strategy without luck with corphish
@the clips And the battle frontier?
Conway from Sinnoh kinda reminded me of Katie.
@@sreenaths6829 except Conway just sacrifice his 2 Pokemons to win with last one where Katie try to use all her Pokemons to beat Ash.
@@inamdaryasin yeah that shows his overconfidence in his strategy.
This league isn't my favorite league, but I think it was a pretty good league. Pikachu may wasn't great in this league but at least he did better than Torkoal. Torkoal sucked.
Barley.
@@Zactoshi u mean barely?
Whats your favorite ? mine will always be the Johto League
This league was pretty alright, but was still enjoyable.
Why you're criticizing it for losing against meowth not every meowth can be same as TR meowth just like not every pikachu can be as powerful as ash pikachu, and rat loses against cat doesn't seems unrealistic
Glalie never lost without taking some out with it aside from winning.
Same with swellow
@@inamdaryasin Tobias?
@@abhinavc9044 we are talking about AG series, also it was against legendary Pokemon latios none of Ash bird Pokemon can stand a chance against him.
@@inamdaryasin also, Glalie stil has his "pseudo-undefeated" status (as in, always wins or gets to draw)

Funny enough I actually watched your Kanto League video again yesterday lol
Great series dude and glad to see your review on the Hoenn League. Tyson was one of my favourite rivals especially as he used a Cowboy Cat 🐈
I can't wait for the Sinnoh League review
I could've sworn he already did that one, along with the Kalos and Unova Leagues. Were they copyright-struck, or is this some kind of Mandela effect tomfoolery?
Ryan Gallagher they were blocked by Sho-Pro.
@@isaacstevenson2960 That makes sense. ShoPro just doesn't like people talking about their shit in any way, do they?
I'm more looking forward to the rage rants of Unova myself.
L Blau same
If only he used is older pokemon. I'm pretty sure he would've dominated the league
Use old pokemons in league who done 0 help to him getting into Hoenn league was worst idea, Johto pokemons was trash because kanto pokemons take all the spotlight in johto league.
Inamdar Yasin in Sinnoh, Ash brought back Pokemon, but his Sinnoh Pokemon were easily the MVP’s because of the Paul Battle.
Bringing back Pokemon for the league can be done right
@@delbut12 Sinnoh Pokemons was MVP just because of Paul battle, Sceptile is the one who take out Darkrai when no other trainer in whole league done that, Heracross win Ash first round and Snorlax in 2nd round, Torterra was still treated as fodder and didn't win any battle, Starraptor still didn't beat any opponent without type advantage, Gible literally done nothing before the league so writers give him victory in Sinnoh league to make up for that, all this things could've been resolved if Sinnoh Pokemons get more limelight in Sinnoh league,
What's the point of raising new Pokemons if Ash is going to depend on old, Johto pokemons are most forgettable in johto league because all the spotlight taken by Kanto pokemons, even Unova pokemons are more developed than johto.
Even if Ash use old Pokemons there would be another trainer who would beat him like how Harrison Blaziken beat Ash strongest Pokemon Charizard.
@@ultimatepikachu3106 I'm talking about Ash will lose to another trainer after beating Tyson if writers want, they will just introduce tobias like trainer in semi finals.
It's all depend on whether writers want him to win it not.
I think is safe to say Swellow, Grovyle and Glaie where the mvps of the league.
Even Corphis. He took out half of Morrison’s team. And it included a fully evolved starter.
Can we give credit to glalie and swellow for the fact that in this whole league, they didnt fully lose to anyone. They either defeated their opponents (2 opponents in swellow case, twice as well) or tied them
What about in the battle against Katie.
This video made me realize how useless torkaol is
He did defeat Tyson’s shiftree
A weakness of the Advanced seasons was lack of an ongoing rival for Ash, so his opponents in the Hoenn League are mostly people we only meet once he gets there except for Morrison, who he’d met not long before. May’s Hoenn contest campaign did have recurring rivals who challenged May’s skill as a coordinator and her as a character, which Ash would get in Sinnoh with Paul. It’s easy to see why Ash didn’t get this in Hoenn, as this was the first region to introduce an ongoing campaign for one of his friends and the writers were probably still working out how this affected the campaign/arc vs filler balance. Battle Frontier also lacked this as it didn’t end in a tournament arc for Ash.
Having an ongoing rival for Ash in Hoenn would have made the Hoenn League more dynamic, giving some history to the context of the Victory Tournament battles, showing the type of person the rival was and their Pokemon across the seasons and making the victory and losses mean something more. Tyson and Morrison lack the history to make their battles have an emotional stake beyond the risk of preventing Ash from winning the whole thing, and apart from Tyson’s Meowth their Pokemon lack personality. Looking ahead with Paul he’s going to have a much stronger dynamic with Ash and develop a history where their clash at the Sinnoh League really feels epic and the point where things will be proved. His Pokemon have character, like Torterra looking out for the newly evolved Grotle and we see his journey with Elekid as it evolves into Electabuzz and Electavire.
Jay Barry don’t forget the rivalry between Ash’s Torterra and Paul’s Honchkrow and the somewhat rivalry between Pikachu and Magmortar. As I’ve said before, Paul is the best rival because he challenged Ash’s ideals and morals as a trainer. Brock even commented on this by telling Ash to toughen up his batting style every time he battled against Paul
@@antoniobrooks1113 it wa ssuch a shame paul didn't bring his torterra to his battle with ash. it is one of his best pokemon, his starter and him rbing it would have been a nice subtle way of paul admitting "Yeah, ash is not just any random trainer".
IIt wold have been better if say, His torterra got defeated by team effort between pikachu, infernape and ash's own torterra (as in paul's torterra forcing ash to swtich between pokemon, ash doens't loses any pokemon butit served paul as he loses 1 but got info on his rival's team)
Ian R. Nava Huber thats literally my ONLY gripe with the DPP anime, Paul’s league team should’ve been his Lake Acuity team. That was arguably a perfect competitive team as well as a perfect counter to Ash’s team almost. All of those Pokémon of Paul’s had unique personalities and they all themselves wanted to defeat Ash and his team.
@@antoniobrooks1113 Agreed. replace Aggron for Ursaring and that would have been an epic callback to their previosu battle and a WOAH! MOment. with Infernape One shoting Ursaring. then maybe have either keep Gastrodon vs buizel and staraptor and then have Torterra instead with combined efforts between Buizel, Ash' Torterra, Pikachu and Infernape beating it (as in, Paul's Torterra doesn't defeat any of them, but it served the purposed of letting Paul get to know Most of Ash' team while he still has 3 of his mons fresh and as a secret).
That way you can justify drapion wiping the floor with torterra, buizel and staraptor becaus they were already exhausted
@@ianr.navahuber2195 he can’t bring Torterra because Ash already had a Torterra and the anime hates repeating Pokémon
Tyson, Katie and Ash’s Swellow were the real MVPs.
I loved this league! Can’t wait for Sinnoh! I’m especially looking forward to Ash and Paul!
Yeah Ash and Paul were really good rivals
LEAH Luostarinen that’s an understatement! They’re rivalry was the best!
👍 yeah! The best rivalry, battle, series and league. 🔥🔥🔥
The Hoenn League was good because of all the full battles and showing off Glalie.
When you first mentioned Morrison, I wondered "Why did they bring back someone who basically a one off character of the week?" Then I remembered he's voiced by Masako Nozawa in the Japanese version, famous for playing Goku in Dragon Ball, so creators probably wanted to work with her again. But here's a real fun fact. You know who the English voice of Morrison is? Sean Schemmel, who also plays Goku! He did some work for 4Kids and this might have been a lucky coincidence.
What an amazing coincidence!
Am I the only one who was freaking pissed knowing Morisson would have beaten Ash if he fought seriously in the beginning? lol
I mean, his Girafarig and Swampert could have enjoyed some better showings. Swampert drawing with Corphish was kinda disappointing to me.
Nah his Growlithe was pretty unimpressive in both its battles and I doubt Girafarig would've done much better on that stage whether he was in the right mind or not
Not really
No Morrison still would’ve lost
12:23 Hey, Ash's Hoenn team was actually pretty good at the time. Remember, this was the first league where he wasn't relying on his reserves, and unlike his main Kanto team and especially his Johto team, he actually bothered to evolve about half his Pokemon (even if Grovyle still needed to evolve all the way). In fact, way back when Advanced Generation was first airing, I remember how excited I was to see Ash actually evolving Pokemon way more than he did during the previous two generations (Snorunt evolving into Glalie just before the league was especially a pleasant surprise since I figured they'd just treat the thing like Phanpy; an unevolved, inexperienced cutie that came in too late to make a difference). A trend that thankfully continued into gen4 and gen6 (we don't speak of gen5.... though his fully-evolved Krookodile was boss, and probably the only good thing to come of it).
YamatoFukkatsu I still shake my head at the thought that Ash could’ve had a fully evolved unova starter trio for that league, he definitely would’ve whooped Cameron but I bet the writers would’ve Tobias-ed him if he did
@@ray0064 it was so weird hat ash traded "fully evolved pokemon" to catch as manypokemon as he could.
alsom, waht a shame his boldore didn't evolve to gigalith. unlike others like palpitoad who could you say they have this "silly" or "cute" look, gigalith's cool look was way beter than boldore's.
the same applies to pignite. he could have been evolved to an emboar. at least that way you fuly commit to him being a charizard-esque fire starter (bonus that when charzard came, he could have seen emboar as a sparring partner)
@@ray0064 nah that’s not how plot works
"He's a Big Chungus" 👌
Well that Meowth complaint sounds petty. "Because Pikachu keeps beating Team Rocket's Meowth". Yh, a Meowth who's been revealed to have sacrificed its ability to grow and learn moves so it can speak human.
The Hoenn league was tons of fun to watch.
Warm Lillie but not as fun as Johto
For fucks sake, you have marnia for your profile already, lol
@@sheilamartinez4307 personally I don't like johto league because aside from Ash vsGary rivalry I can't find anything to like it, all of the spotlight taken by only kanto pokemons johto pokemons done nothing great. I'm actually happy ash get this far by using Hoenn pokemons only and get into top 8 and win full 6vs6 twice which till date never happen, all pokemons except torkoal shine throughout the league
Yeah, Pikachu will show you something in the next league.
Tie with a freaking LATIOS.

Swellow and Grovyle were the powerhouse In this league. Corphish and Pikachu were inconsistent. Glalie meh and Torkoal jobbed 😂
Nah Glalie carried
Mest how tf was glalie meh, glalie carried ash through most matches, I agree with corphish and pikachu cod they were all right but torkoal sucked
Glalie and corphish also bring important victories, they both win him the round in the end.
What I liked about the Hoenn league is that he start over and fresh. Even since I saw him do it, I did the same thing in life. So respect to this season.
To be fair, you can't really compare Tyson's Meowth to Team Rocket's Meowth. Tyson's Meowth has had a crap load of training and battling experience whereas Team Rocket's Meowth rarely battles at all and has little to no experience battling. It's basically the equivalent to Ash's Pikachu. I did find Meowth's cheerleading for it to be very annoying and cringy though.
You do realize Tyson's Meowth was actually a more competent fighter that Meowth, right? Like... better in every way.
Honestly, it's really dumb of you to say Ash's loss doesn't make sense just because he lost to someone's Meowth. Team Rocket's Meowth is pathetic and low level whilst Tyson's Meowth went through a lot of training and it shows in his battles during the league. Just because it's the same Pokemon doesn't mean it has the same stats. I'm sorry but that was some really rubbish criticism on your part.
I would've loved to know how Ash would've done if he entered the Hoenn league after his time in the battle frontier. It was pretty underwhelming in Hoenn
Totally! Battle Frontier Ash is whole different story!
It would make no difference
It would be the same
@@thecriticalghost4626not really
@@pn2294yes it would
I feel like the anime will end with Ash turning 11
If I were in Ash’s place in the anime, here’s how I would age:
Kanto: 10 yrs old
Orange Islands: 11 yrs old
Johto: 12 yrs old
Hoenn: 13 yrs old
Sinnoh: 14 yrs old
Unova: 15 yrs old
Kalos: 16 yrs old
Alola: 17 yrs old
Galar: 18 yrs old
And so one.(plus I’d even make it to the elite four and beat them and the champions).
That would be the best ending
In my opinion, Ash turned 11 in Hoenn, then 12 in Kalos. So he's 12 now
12:42
In all fairness, TR Meowth is weak as hell and sucks Egg Bombs.
3:01 Shadow Ball hitting a normal type...

3:45 wtf? Lmao
4:10 animu logic bruh that’s how
You say Ash’s fate against Morrison was left to Glalie as if Glalie is no good when we all know Glalie and Swellow were Ash’s killers in this league while Pikachu and Torkoal were atrocious.
“Choose It or Lose It” is one of my favorite episodes of the whole series.
Swellow underrated for how badass he is...

Unfezant is garbage asf....

Don't like this League so much. Ash was copying Morrison, Ash wasn't switching any Pokemon though opponent was getting their advantage by switching, all the work was depended on Swellow, Grovile & Gallie, the worse was Pikachu.
Wait... I could've sworn you rated these league episodes before.
Like how bad Unova was...
I loved the hoen league. The battle were one of the most creative in the series.
Your League reviews are awesome, man! :D
Swellow best flying type so awesome in the anime it has a never give up attitude and never lost a battle without defeating another pokemon
5:32 & 9:27 utimate proof Glalie is one of ash's best pokemon
12:33 tyson is probably one of the few rivals that beat ash in the league that everyone agrees "yeah, he deserved the win"
Ash may as well have gotten a Numel. It would've done better than Torkoal ever did. What fucking fire type loses to a tropius?
Toarkoal sp. Attacks reduces harshly because he use overheat which misses and it was mentioned in anime that his other fire. attacks will be very weak because of that.
I think glalie is underrated it took out a CHARIZARD and a metang
I hated this one
Hoenn is my fav region but tbh it the league was absolutely crap
The league matches were pretty good, what sucked was the absence of a rival(Morrison and Tyson showed up at the very end, unlike Paul). Plus many characters like May, Drew and the Hoenn league itself doesn't get much love just because Advanced generation anime sucked.
Hoenn League was my second favorite to watch. Sinnoh and Kalos are hands down the best leagues in the anime.
The Kalos League was rushed though. At least the battles were good though but the Team Flare Arc was the REAL deal in XYZ.
Agreed
@@user-wr7kj9cw1p Correct. It was rushed. Kalos League animation and art style only focused on the 2 battles, so that's why the league wasn't that good.
Sinnoh had a better league overall, but Kalos had a more satisfying ending (Tobais vs Ash was entertaining, but he still didn't feel as justified as Alain).
Zac: Tyson has fully evolved Pokémon
Me: but he has a meowth
And the meowth hated it's evolution
So... a Pikachu can be strong, but a Meowth with just as much determination, if not more, can't be strong enough to defeat it?
I don't get your logic. I thought the Meowth vs Pikachu battle was awesome. I agree with the conclusion as well even though it's sad to see Ash lose. I respect it as much as Lucario vs Pikachu in the Unova League. As Ash said, "You gave it everything you had. I'm really proud of you, Pikachu".
"I can't believe Pikachu lost to Meowth" well think of It as a fair defeat since Pikachu is also a first stage pokemon plus Meowth probably got as much training as Pikachu did if not more
It should be noted that Tyson's Meowth was trained and had battle experience, compared to Team Rockets Meowth who can't even stand a Thunderbolt and has only really battled like twice by this point, not a fair comparison to say the least.
Also Swellow was amazing during this league.
I can't wait for the sinnoh league review
Yeah I want to see the Sinnoh review to
If Morrison didn't throw those first two rounds against Ash he probably would have won. And since Ash only barely lost to Tyson meaning they were about evenly matched Morrison probably would have won against Tyson as well.
Mean Morrison probably would have won the conference if he didn't have such huge hang ups about battling Ash.
You think Pikachu losing to a Meowth in boots is bad? Just wait until the Unova league when it loses to a just evolved Lucario of all things from a trainer that brought only five Pokemon to a six on six battle! (I'm not making this up)
That guy that’s here when the video first comes.
POKEMON 👏👏 LEAGUE REVIEW
Yes the next review will be sinnoh I can't wait
Lord arceus has blessed us with new video
Man ash's heonn team is underrated expect for torkoal everyone else did pretty solid sceptile swellow corfish glalie did good
Katie literally looks like sabrina
The Gligar thing wasn't really that risky. Bone Club is a Ground-type move, and Gligar is a Flying-type. It shouldn't have had any effect anyway, so it's like walking through a revolving door (i.e. there's nothing to be lost).
Losing to Tyson's Meowth is the worst thing the anime can do.....
Anime writers: Well, we can best that.
*Jumps to Ash's Unova League performance.*
Lmao
that was like losing to 6 pidgeys
The thing that makes me not as bummed to see Ash lose against Tyson is that it was the most fair out of the last minute rivals compared to the other leagues . Sadly as good as the battle is, the battle against Tobias was just bad in terms of defeat. Indigo League has a bad ending, Johto was cool, but slightly unfair, Hoenn has the most fair loss, Sinnoh was just cheap, Unova was stupid and Kalos was a bummer, but not as bad due to us knowing Alain better. Those are my opinions on the final battle losses of Ash in the official Leagues in short.
swellow was his best pokemon in the league
simiabraz Frensh infernape Definitely! I wish people would stop overlooking that awesome bird! It’s actually my favorite flying type. That Pokémon is super underrated!
@@isaacstevenson2960 it's my most favorite bird pokemon in Ash team, swellow show much better feat than that overrated starraptor who never won a match without type advantage
the only league showing 3 full 6 vs 6 battles :O eventhough it all goes quite fast
