You can just use some scrap paper, a lot of glue, scissors or cutter, some sand paper. Several stacks of paper will do just fine but you need to make sure there are little to no air bubbles when you put them together. You can either cut a lot of identical pieces first before stacking them or stack them together and patiently wait until the glue dries completely before sanding it.
I once threw an old broken controller that had a very bad case of stick drift out my window But it was already broken and I had a different controller so it didnt really count
