I understand that for someone who worked in the middle of corporate walls, it is hard to sit between home walls. Kudos to homemakers who love being homemakers, are proud and happily involved with their spouse and kids, and see growth in family nurture.

100% correctly said . Just two cents , there is another dependent visa category L2 which will let the spouse work in us with valid I94. So do your research before coming . It’s definitely the land of opportunities only if you have the correct qualifications and willingness to work really hard .
I used to do volunteering in public library n other few organizations as well on once a week or twice a week basis. But nothing worked to get job or earning or no any company was ready to sponsor my visa.
This is also the main point Trump started getting huge following of american ppl as Obama administration started H4EAD n Trump admin thinks that they r loosing job market for americans.
I would say no other country is more welcoming or has more opportunities in STEM than the US for sure. The combination of all that coupled with an excellent quality of life is what makes the American Dream attractive. This combo is hard to come by elsewhere, if at all! But yeah it's subjective.

We moved back to India 3 years back for good as per his n his parents wish n he immediately filed divorce case mentioning all the above reasons (not giving tiffin on time, max time watching tv, spending his money, saw USA bcz of him, I only need his money, not cleaning dishes on time etc etc)... Bcz of huge career gap, not able to get gud job...dnt hv any place to live. Dnt hv any investment on my name (he made sure all these yrs) dnt have ANY kind of help..still living under same roof n legal battle is going on..

If possible convert to F1 .. the experience of studying at an American university is priceless .. more valuable than earning dollars.. try claiming in state to get fifty percent off .. or do phD.. baaaki India mei bhi sab mil hi jaata hai
