The world building especially, each arc flows very well into the next. In episode 148, the end of the 13th chairman election arc, Ging mentions the dark continent arc and if you observe Gon seems to want to explore there.

Since watching hxh in July of 2021 it’s become my favourite anime, I’ve read the manga 3 times and then another time in the shueisha coloured version, watched 1999 version twice and I’m currently near the end of the chimera ant arc of my third rewatch of the 2011 version, I also own most of the manga volumes, simply can’t get sick of it❤
