Very Beautiful Cockpit! Many similarities to the Airbus Cockpit features. Similar design to Embraer cockpit, certain features like the autopilot panel(MCP) are similar to Learjet. You can see a bit of different plane manufactures. Overall a great cockpit hope to see this bird flying with a few airlines.
J Carbs It was European and Western idea to bring this baby...nice one all in one...cocktail bird lol
It's literally an airbus cockpit
nice and clean. good job sukhoi.
Nice plane!
This airplane is screaming “airbus”
I wonder why US carriers don't buy this plane. The plane costs a lot less then compared to other manufactuers, plus it's fuel efficient and looks awesome.
I wonder what their scared of, or maybe they will buy it,maybe they're just waiting for the plane to prove it's self. Maybe they're worried about the bad blood between US and Russia, and that Putin might put sections on parts for the SSJ, and then the airlines would not be able to buy parts. Whatever it is it sucks, because that is one sexy aircraft.
Part of the reason is the Su-100 is already crammed full of American, Canadian, and European components to the point that it's almost nothing special to any western built aircraft. Honeywell, Thales, Hamilton-Sustrand, Johnson Controls, and Boeing all played a big part in the Su-100's development. There is a market for this aircraft, but it is a very crowded one with well established players like Bombardier and Embraer.....who've already taken orders out the yinyang.
Embraer and Bombardier already have a solid foothold here with tried and true aircraft.
Amazing how simplified are these Cockpits..... pilots workloads amazingly reduced to almost nothing......
P. G. Unless emergency happens. And also keep in mind, that it’s only 2 people in the cockpit, not 4 as it used to be.
My first guess is support. An airline just doesn't buy a plane and fly it. It must have manufacturer's support for parts and maintenance. Such a network is critical for an aircraft's success. If Sukhoi doesn't have such support in place, the plane will never sell.
Good video, love it

Interjet's Sukhoi Superjet 100 at Mexico City's Airport.
Excelente video por cierto.
its actually better if it is a copy...as pilots will find it easier to transition from those aircraft to this one...thus this aircraft is more marketable...if you cant beat the top guns...join them..
you have a point but this aircraft wont be very succesfull anyways
JENDREKK RICAN yeah you are right but at least that what sukhoi have in mind when design this aircraft
Actually for sukhoi its quite succesfull and his civil aviation division became one of crucial parts of whole UAC. They already made 144 units and have signed orders on another dozens. In his segment, SSJ-100 currently keep about 15% of market, thats pretty good for company which never produced civil airplanes. Chinesse trying this for decades with various types and not even closed to what sukhoi reach in few years.

i guess cabin pressurazation is far beyond the others.
Sukhoi superbus
YASS sidestick!!!
Wonderful aircraft! Some say it copies Airbus 320. Let's see if that is true:
Because of the Sidestick and Overhead Panel? Let's go to the latter: Do you have Hydraulic Pumps ON/OFF buttons? No; Do you have AIR PACKs buttons? No. Do you have AIR Bleed buttons? No. Do we have any Flight Control Cables like on A320 THS and Rudder here? No, this aircraft is 100% Fly-By-Wire. Zero mechanikal linkages. Do we have Landing Gear Emergency Release cable here? No, it's fully electrical. The ONLY Cable on SSJ100 is for RAT Manual Release. Unlike A320 it has ONLY one (#1 & #2 actually) "Integrated AirSystem Controller" (IASC) that controls: Air Bleed, Air Conditioning, Avionics Equipment Ventilation and Aircraft Pressurisation.
And chosing the Sidestick is revolutionary, compared to Boeing, Embrayer and Bombardier, who still prefer to put a poll between the pilots legs.
The Sidestick and designing an Overhead Panel similar to Airbus proved to be a very successful decision. Pilots from A320 got trained really easy.
Why this airplane does not fly in the West anymore is different question. Unfortunately, a brilliantly designed and produced aircraft lacked proper commercial and other managament, that had just to follow the West Postsale Support Nowhow principles, not trying to invent their own.
뭔가 에어버스 기체랑 느낌이 비슷하네요~~
¿Cómo se comporta el SSJ 100 capi? ¿Es buen avión? :) Ojalá pronto tú y tu hermano de AMX puedan subir más videos como este! Saludos ;)

grat similarity with A380 cockpit
Passaredo, que tal uns desses?
there isn't indicators on AP panel, it's convenient for using?
yes, you get used to it. SSJ100 has a "face-forward" philosophy, all autopilot information is confirmed on the primary flight display, also there is no need to look up to monitor aircraft systems on the overhead panel, all information and parameters are monitored on the screens.
Looks like an Airbus cockpit

Best of the world!
The emerging African Airline market is projected to need more than 900 new aircraft by 2025, I am sure that with a bit of flexible financing, reliable aircraft maintenance and a few assisted management schemes Sukhoi's Superjet 100 could get a very large piece of this market... The rest of the world, including Japan's Mitsubishi MRJ, is on the ground and running, The Ruskies had better get their running shoes on if they want to get a piece of the action in this wide open Continental market.
flexible financing, reliable aircraft maintenance and a few assisted management schemes - this is weakest part of Sukhoi manufacturers
Очень похоже все на airbus
if i owned an airline i would definitely buy this aircraft because its either 1 A320neo or 4 Superjets!
That is interesting viewing the recent crash at Moscow Airport.
Also remember that there are thing called maintenance and certification. There needs to be a network support from Sukhoi to the country you are basing your airline, certified engineers that are trained on the Sukhoi Superjets and parts available. Remember that availability of parts is mandatory and when the supplier will say in a "coupla weeks", your airline and their shareholders will have to take the burden of income losses with that jet down.
@@sonycans Still I prefer SSJ100 over A320. It is not 4:1 in price but it's cheaper enough to have no doubt about the choice. About Moscow crash, you can made things resistant to anything but morons. Those morons in cockpit were very persistent in trying to crash plane, and succeeding in that!
I have found many examples of aviation disasters due to poor design or poor production of Boeing and Airbus aircrafts, but I did not find any case related to the Soviet / Russian planes. If I miss something, I will gladly accept the suggestion.
P.S. Just, please, without cases because of poor maintenance, bad use and monkey pilots.
That's perfectly fine @@jerromedrakejr9332... It took several days for the USSR to finally admit that they have a crisis in Chernobyl as how the western world found out prior was from an alarm in a nuclear power plant in Finland or Sweden.
I am not here to poo poo on Russian technology... I mean... They have great military planes but their civilian commercial planes have plenty of cover up. The TU-144 is a classic example of a shit design in order to prove a point to the world. I have seen some atrocious design flaws on both Airbus and Boeing but the real difference is accountability and their world wide support.
Can any Russian commercial plane "strap on" an additional engine externally as cargo like the 747? Just Google Qantas five engine 747.
@@sonycans Your mention about Moscow disaster is directly and sarcastic poo poo on Russian Sukhoi design. So, I replied on that poo poo in terms of design, not about logistic.
I still prefer Russian planes because they do not fall from the sky because of bad design. I read there on internet hundreds of comments like: "Yes Boeing 737 max crashed but this is just a minor hiccup in its perfect design and I still prefer 737 over Russian planes!"
Is not that arrogance and stupidity of brainwashed murican!
I was born and grown up in socialism and still I do not understand this capitalism push for more and more money, and I am not talking about owners but about army of brainwashed slaves who support this "ideology" on their backs. Is that like on lottery - they believe that someday they will be in that circle of owners? Yeah, right!
Let's say I have airliner company with only dozens of SSJ. Because of logistic problems, I would make 12 instead of $ 15 million a month? Pffffffff...
Let's say I have airliner company with only dozens of 737 max. That would be disaster, literally!
That is about what I am talking!
First thing@@jerromedrakejr9332, being personal with your comments is a sure fire way to cease any argument. Argue properly or I cease conversing with you.
+++++
Regarding Sukhoi.... Do you understand the ratio of the SSJ100 as compared to the 737s? I would flippently state 10:1 737s being made. Currently there is a Senate hearing regarding the 737MAX and I am very interested in the results with that.
We could argue this till the cows come home but the reality is that a plane only makes money when it is in the air. When it is on t the ground it is unprofitable ergo certification is required to get them flight worthy. When a plane is in maintenance having a B or C check, any parts required MUST be available in order to get the plane functioning.
One cannot run to the local hardware store or Bunnings to get some replacement bolts to fit a window but a specialised aircraft certified supplier. Or the window must be available within a day from the plane manufacture. In all honesty, I cannot see the business model from Sukhoi supplying the high demands of the western world despite the price of their planes.
Avionics made by a combination of French and German companies...........sounds familiar?

Airbus cocpit Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V :D

Look like western aircraft airbus
It looks like an Airbus for goodness sake
muhammad faizuddin nothing wrong about it
Cuz avionics are both made by Thales
Hire me, I already had my SSJ-100 type rating from collapsed Indonesia airlines company. But with a very low flight hours. or suggest me which airlines use this aircraft...
Panji Birama sorry my friend, in Mexico out of 22 SSJ’s flying in the country 15 are grounded due to lack of spare parts and constant failures, nobody wants them anymore. All airlines are getting rid of SSJ100
@@RobT_Cockpit_videos too bad bro, no airlines in my country use this aircraft anymore since 2014,, I dont know why, i thought that this aircraft has a competitive technology compare to Boeing or Airbus. It's so hard now to be joined in an airlines company as a pilot in my country, too many fresh graduates but lack of recruitments.
Panji Birama SSJ100 was a promising aircraft but the terrible technical support and the cheap components were the grave of the proyect.
@@RobT_Cockpit_videos Thank you for your information

nope
this is more to Airbus than an A220
Es una lastima que el avion no tuviera éxito, si es bastante avanzado.
ANY AIRBUS PILOT CAN FLY THIS
Finally , Russian plane have a English button in cockpit
And feet and knots instead of meters and kilometers per hour.
it's like an embraer and an airbus had a baby and this is it's cockpit.
At last good paint job on console in a Russian made Air craft. Generally all of them had a hideous colored paint on console frame regardless of civilian or military Air craft.
Airbus 🤔
it's an airbus
the internal devices they bought it fron European and Americans companies they made only the body of this airplate
and your point is
Just some of the equipment is foreign, alot of equipment is of Russian domestic origin.
Russia grande puissance
It looks like in they got some parts from Airbus.
it was a joined project
Thales
-I want an Airbus mom!
-You won't get it, we already have Airbus at home!
*Airbus at home*
Flight level 380 .....? r u kidding me,
What exactly do you find wrong or funny with FL380?
Do you know where from and where to they are going? Do you know their TO weight? Higher is not necessarily better, it's a matter of fuel efficiency!
And if you pay attention this is in Mexico, most flights would be an hour or less, a few longer than that, hardly efficient going higher on a 40 minute flight!
Please go back to your sim and try to listen more than what you talk!
It is known in advance that none of the major airlines never will buy either a Russian or a Chinese plane. So why English subtitles in the Russian cockpit for Russian pilots?
those planes were designed and manufactured more than a decade ago
@@RobT_Cockpit_videos This DOES NOT EXPLAIN THE LACK OF Russian subtitles. It rather indicates that they were purchased for SOMEONE ELSE, from the English-speaking zone, and not from the zone where the Russian alphabet is used.
Is it bypassing export bans?
@@andrzej3511 It does explain a lot, years ago when the SSJ100 proyect began Russian relations with the west were fairly normal, the plane was intended to compete on the internacional market and the desing relied heavily on western components (hence the lack of russian text) even Boeing was involved on the initial phase of the desing. But the aircraft never really took off, it had very poor tech support and poor performance.
Is it bypassing export bans? No. Even without internacional sanctions nobody would want them. Today there are only 2 or 3 flying outside of Russia, on the Thai airforce.
looks like a320 319 a321 and a318

What's with the copy shit people are commenting. Grow up kids. Airbus is not complaining
At least it's in English lol
boeing is still better :p
Looks like a modified Airbus cockpit because of common screen and button manufacturers, too bad cause they could have made a great, original and awesome looking plane!

I think in aviation originality is not a good thing.
Now that you say it... agree!

It’s litterally just an A320 cockpit
Only one Auto-Pilot?? Won't that limit its CAT ability??
What a copy of the Airbus!
Its cockpit is just like Of a320
А есть ли в этой кабине хоть один компонент российского производства?
Is there at least one Russian-made component in this cockpit?
Its bloody noisy cockpit thats for sure

A copied A320 cockpit basically?
Nope... its the layout thats similar! I would guess the hardware behind is somewhat different!
Damn all these copy comments! Its so stupid!

Airbus copied this cockpit somewhere
Airbus ripoff?
More like Embraer rip off.
rahsaan moore often components are licensed from the original designers and are not propriety to Airbus but other company that make instruments too button layout.
Artificial Horizon You must be blind. As per its designers, it has the seamlessly integrated proven features of Airbus and Boeing jets.
I'm not talking about the parts, the main design of the flightdeck looks similier to that of Embraer, you could argue that it looks the same as Airbus but I see it as a more similier design to the ERJ175 etc.
Artificial Horizon It has 5 panels and that's the only similarity. Beyond that what the Embraer has is shared with the Boeings and Airbuses of this or near categories.

+CMBelite-FR the reason that cockpit between the Superjet 100 and Airbus 320 are similar? is easy both were designed and built by the French company Thales group that is responsible for producing both consoles.

in other words its a bootleg version of airbus
Garbage ? There has not been a single crash of this aircraft for technical reasons.
