MR President thank you for speaking honestly may GOD of the HOLY BIBLE bless you and your household. Also my prayer is for the masses to understand and pay heed to what you are saying for generations to come in our beloved country off. South Africa 🙏🙏🙏
My mother was Black Sash and fought to end apartheid. The problem today though is that I have ‘white skin colour’ and a ‘pink face’ according to what I hear every day. I feel like 90 percent of the South African population hates anyone of European decent. To make matters worse there is total denial about anti-European racism in South Africa. Its apparently ‘impossible’ for the local tribes to be racist ,…. Theres even a new name for it: “xenophobia”. I have never been employed in South Africa because of BEE, and have been forced to work for myself. I feel hated and discriminated against, every day - by South Africa. The ANC & tripartheid alliance (and EFF in its old form) defeated the national party to become just like them. The big difference is that the oppressor now outnumbers the oppressed by 10 to 1. This makes the new oppressive and corrupt government - 10 times more powerful than the national party. Also 10 times more incompetent and greedy.
Try and engage with everyday south africans and you'll realize that they are not the kind of people you've been made to believe they are, ordinary people just want to live their lives, raise their families and not prey on people because of their race
You put in words what most of us are thinking. The same happened to me.I was forced to do self-employment,and didn't get any assistance from government.its reverse apartheid ,if I might call it so ..but 100times worse.during apartheid as they call it ,we at least felt safe ,our SOEs were in immaculate condition ..everything is in disarry now.
As if you know 90% of South Africa. Also the vast majority of SA is underclass who have no power, and the old South Africa was a racial military dictatorship. Saying the current neo-liberal government is 10x more powerful is the daftest thing I've heard anyone say.
Regardless of whether you support democracy or not, this person has a brilliant mind insight and leadership qualities which is non-existent in the current ruling regime.
You can see why they had to get rid of President Mbeki - he is a man who speaks the truth ! In comparison to the Giant that is President Mbeki, little Julius is but a small mouse.
I still admire your prudence, wisdom ,humility and calmness you carry in all your speaking Mr President.May you continue to impart that when God still allows. I’m pray that God keeps you longer for the Good of our Beloved Mother Land🙏
Why does the honourable Thabo not speak more frequently these days.....he has the credentials as a former head .....to still direct and guide....at his time SA had a favorable balance in its fiscal with Trevor and Gordon in charge .....that went on for many years thereafter....until.....
A man of dignity, a critical thinkers with forethought and wisdom. He basically ran the Mandela Presidency. I thought he was wrong for the task at hand. In hindsight now, how wrong I was. Malema had him removed, when Mbeki removed Malema from the ANCYL for bring the party into disrepute....Repute left then, violence and stupid filled the vacuum.
This is the very same thing i was saying on another social platform the other day .... Im a black man too ( refer to as coloured ) ... I was born and raised during the heart of apartheid ...( by the way , im much older than Julius ) ... Some songs we sang back then , are irrelevant today ... They meant something different back then , because the season required us to sing them ...We held a different belief back then .. What rellevance does these songs have today , other than to provoke people against the existence of another ethnic culture or race ... In fact , it is terribly irresponsible to call yourself a leader IN THIS DAY IN SOUTH AFRICA ! , and use songs like that .... Julius doesnt realize that words , chants etc ...is not merely words or chants ...They are spiritual entities (energy) that carries with them an instruction to carry out...The one who believes these words or chants can easily carry out the action that these words / chants convey ... These young blind leaders are leading us on a path that they themselve doesnt even know or understand .. I ( as a brown man ) will gladly do my part by taking the hand of my black , indian ,and white brothers and build this country LOOKING FORWARD ...NOT BACKWARD !!!!!!!... These young politicians should stop persuing degree upon degree to try to proof to us how competent they are ... What they should do more of , is to sit at the feet of people like the hounarable ex president Thabo Mbeki ...They will learn true maturity from these type of old people , who uses common sense
Then why is there no reference in history where actions were instructed through chants? Why is it that the supposed potential victims of this chants are very happy to enjoy the proceeds of the atrocities committed on blacks by boers but somehow condemn the victims of those atrocities for reciting the chants that remind them of their history? It's never going to happen, these chants must be sang for as long as the very basis and essence of their origin, in the form of economic castration and land dispossession, persist.
I disagree with what you saying, if we were to stop singing these chants basically mean we are still being controlled by the very same oppressors/their children, they're still in control of what we say, sing, where to stay etc. I refuse to forget how we became what we are today, where this beautiful country comes from!! To those who don't wanna sing these chants, don't but leave us alone!
No one is saying anyone must stop singing these chants, the question is why is this specific chant being sung under this specific context since it's irrelevant to this context, i think we must come to realize that politicians are only in it for themselves and they will use whatever strategy(race, gender, class, tribalism and fear mongering) they want regardless of the consequences on the ordinary people of south africa in furtherance of their own agenda and i suppose to some degree it shows how detached politicians are to the lived realities of everyday south africans

Thank u president Mbeki for being honest... indeed it's a mobilisation thing❤️
Spot on je booooooo
Thank you Thabo Mbeki!
Thank you for talking truth.
Unfortunately, the chant is not irrelevant.
We all need to stand together, all colours, all races and all cultures
Well articulated, he's knowledgeable
Thank you Mr Thabo Mbeki. You must do this speech in all 11 African languages Please its needed desperately Mr Mbeki.
yes this man has integrity, and has intelligence👏🏻
True baba please close this song we don't want this song this is the past.
Exactly rightly said. It was the past. People today cannot live past otherwise the present and future will never evolve
LAUGH OUT LOUD!!!!!!
Well said 🙏
It brings hope to see a lot of people in this meeting, listening to a wise man and not to someone who is pretending to be wise
@rowanwilliams5092.confront your mother or thank het .up to you.
100% agree with your comment,FULL TRUTH PERIOD!!!!!!
How i wish he was still our president. We have Julius to thank for this.
You can see why they had to get rid of President Mbeki - he is a man who speaks the truth ! In comparison to the Giant that is President Mbeki, little Julius is but a small mouse.
It's truth Mr President dis Anc is lost many people join us because their wants tenders some even spoke about It's daily
Mr Thank Mbeki a very Brilliant mind u can see His educated and wise
That's why I always say Peter Mokaba was sold by his own COMRADES
Thank you Sir.
Thabo Mbeki should be the President again. He is not corrupt. He can get SA out of the dumps. There will no more be fraud and corruption.
Big salute of Respect Me Mbeki
This man always spot on👌❤️
So much respect for this man.
The Boers must sing their own song in response to this one malema is singing.
Good Analysis. Push Forward S.A. ❤
The good thing with former president Thabo Mbeki is he takes things from the bigger inner picture!! very wise man!!
Plz Mr Mbeki don't get old, we need you. Hoorah for Mbeki!!.
What a speech ✅
A man of dignity, a critical thinkers with forethought and wisdom. He basically ran the Mandela Presidency. I thought he was wrong for the task at hand. In hindsight now, how wrong I was.
Malema had him removed, when Mbeki removed Malema from the ANCYL for bring the party into disrepute....Repute left then, violence and stupid filled the vacuum.
Even the children are being taught that slogan
Wise man. Can only respect this man.
He's good with words 🤔
Thank you so much...
What they should do more of , is to sit at the feet of people like the hounarable ex president Thabo Mbeki ...They will learn true maturity from these type of old people , who uses common sense
u speak sense bru
@@rakhamun8624 I think you coined it bru. Well said.
Thank you mbeki
Once, a long time ago, I was taught that words had to be understood according to their normal and usual meaning.
You also been taught to be biased, why don't you end your narrative by saying that?
There is a lot you still need be taught about..
@@sihlemagagula256😂😂😂😂
@@sihlemagagula256 Maybe we should have a chat with the people who taught him.
They have a lot to answer to.
No wonder, this beautiful country is such a mess.
@@jo-d-lo38 people need to learn to see outside of their viewpoint
Truth be told .Bold move bold Man.he was the last president that i voted for..After he was so viciously removed i changed my vote and i said that i will never vote ANC again.I have no regrets with my decision.
Economic freedom in our lifetime
Mr Thabo Mbeki eloquent narrative is professional .He is forgiving and matured. We must be careful of things we utter in the public that can stir divisions and compromise our democracy.crime, greed and corruption are new oppressor
Good job mr. Mbeki.
