"Carefree Highway" - Gordon Lightfoot

Along-for-the-Ride.
Traveling on Arizona Hwy 17 North, between Phoenix and Flagstaff.
The story is that Gordon Lightfoot was once traveling the same highway in the 1970's. Near Phoenix, he saw a road sign for "Carefree Highway". A real highway which crosses Rte. 17 north of Phoenix. He didn't travel the Carefree Highway. He merely saw the sign, which inspired him to write his iconic song. And so I was inspired to make this video traveling the highway he was traveling at the time.

I've been there ,.. but did I miss the "Carefree Highway" sign?.. at what time does it show?

Oops. Sorry to confuse. It's not in the video. I was driving further north during the clips I used to make the video. I don't recall ever seeing the sign myself. But Gordon saw it. Had I seen it, I probably would have made an effort to drive on the highway for ways.
