- Brian To has Tourrettes and he knows what it's all about and shares his inspiring story. "It’s all about is the little things in life that build up to make this a special journey. The little frustrations, the little cries, the little failures."
Brian K. To ‘17 grew up in Los Angeles, CA and currently studies Psychology at the University of California, Riverside with plans to pursue a career assisting the disability community. Brian works as a Youth Employment & Opportunity Program Specialist, and provides services to support at-risk youth to assist them in achieving their educational and vocational goals. At UCR, Brian has served on the board and held executive officer positions on various organizations, including the Student Disability Union and Rhythm&Brains Music Service Organization. Some of his hobbies include playing basketball, practicing piano, and learning to cook. Brian is not only thankful for the loved ones who have supported him throughout his journey, but also the peers who have doubted his abilities, ideas, and dreams. He believes they have all helped shape the person he is today and strives to become.

wow this guy was in my public speaking class and gave a shorter version of this speech that went very well from what I remembered, and now it's so cool to see him up here! Congrats Brian!
Thank you so much for sharing Brian! You have no idea how much it helps especially for the younger generation of children with Tourette’s growing up.
I have Tourette’s too. I have Coprolalia too (obscene language)
Thanks for doing this talk Brian!!
Ander Jem I also got Tourette’s
Have you gotten any better? I have coprolalia as well.

Brilliant Brian - I loved your positivity. You are an inspiration to fellow sufferers.
Hey, that is my brother!
You guys are my brothers!
I can feel every single thing he is saying. I am glad I learned how to overcome it. Good work Brian.
this is so inspirational
Wonderful wonderful talk! Thank you for sharing your story.
so proud of you Brian!!!
thank you for sharing your story :-)
I have only motor tics but find it significantly impacts my life. I sometimes wish it was tourettes because then I would at least have to explain myself. People must think that I nod my head because I choose to and am just a bit weird. People, in general, are hostile so I'm not interested in making friends but wouldn't mind being treated by people at a professional level on the basis of how I act, and not due to my condition.
👍
I didn't get it: did he manage to cure it?
You can’t really cure TS.
I know not all people swear with tourrettes, but it would almost be hilariously ironic if someone sued UA-cam for descriminating cause they cussed in their video and they have tourrettes.
You mean that black medicine that is super bitter :D
"the "yeah" ha
He doesn't sound like he has TS.
Why do you say that? What do people with TS sound like to you?
Get rid of it!!!!!!! with Natures Nutrients CBD!!!!!! ☮️
You can’t. That is impossible.
It is a life long condition, stop spreading by misinformation.
