@@MyDnb123 lol. I don't mind people knowing, it's been said many times before. It's just not what most people on youtube know me as so when I'm out and about, if someone says MD, I know they are a viewer and I'm not completely confused if I'm supposed to recognize them or not 🤣
Oops!. To be fair I only found out last week that MD’s last name wasn’t fish tanks 🤣 no jokes aside I’ve know MD for a few years so naturally I kept referring to his real name, as long as I didn’t let out a secret 🤫😆
Thanks for sharing Dave, it was the video of this, that has prompted me to get in touch with you guys. I’m probably being too conservative with only buying the smaller setup, but I’d rather learn the basics first and jump straight into the deep end when i have some experience. Nice one
The tanks are gorgeous. It's very inspiring. I had to move long distance and give up all my tanks, but your channel makes me want to start over again. Here is my favorite. It was a deep tank- so a challenge. All my tanks were low tech and built the same way. One day maybe I'll make a video of it. I pre-built a homemade back-corner mattenfilter with a submersible 450gph flow adjustable pump. The substrate is a mix of very coarse sand, organic soil and iron filings- a good 2 inches thick. Then a layer of black sand and fine gravel as a cap. I planted it and scaped. I let it run for 6-7 weeks before the fish. After a couple of months with fish (zero losses on fish) I started taking plant trimmings and attaching them to the mattenfilter sponge with plastic bobby pins. It ran for about 5 years before I had to move. ua-cam.com/video/AUW09nUmx_k/v-deo.htmlsi=kGcc_Cp8ct6Xtwmm
Tanks look amazing as always Dave. Even more amazing in real life. Thanks for all the great advice you have given myself. Looking forward to seeing the new corner and MD scape! See you soon 😁👍
Nice one Dave. Looks like it's all going to plan 👍

Nice tanks....fancy sponsoring a build/collab for a smaller channel?
In my experience, Dave is honest when he says follow his advice on equipment, plants and maintenance. Worked flawlessly for me. Thank you Dave.
Thank you and pleased to hear of your success!
LOVE this format. More please!
what make of tank is the second one you showed in the video, and what tank do you recommend for an 80cm long setup ?
Are those ADA Solar RGB the same as the week aqua A430 Pro
Excellent video, has given me a lot of inspiration
Love the new Nano wall ! Great idea …..can’t wait to see it ….
Thanks Mark! 🤗
Love the video Dave, I'll be up soon... tanks are looking lush...😊
The java fern and bucephalandra will probably not do well in the hard water. They don't seem to work for me without CO2 in my hard water.
Ah that’s interesting, I’ll update on how they do!
The wood in Mark’s nano is too solid imo.

Slightly wrong it was £105. I was thinking of the super fish 45 😀 still excellent value though 👌
Beautiful. Are those normal trident ferns or are they mini trident ferns?
Regular Trident fern 👌🌱

Where did you get this rack system from that you use for the low tech nano tanks?
