Loving words from a big man with a huge heart. Not many competition losers have the confidence and maturity to say what Peter just said. Maybe the can work together in the future, he surely opened the door to that. I cannot but commend Peter and say, you are a THE man to be!!!

That duet was so sooo beautiful :’) It touched my heart! I can tell that Tom has had a difficult time making his final decision and was definitely soooo happy of how this duet turned out to be.

I remember watching the battle live and I was just there thinking 'I seriously do not know who to put through out of these two' so to see you taking the decision as professionally and as humbly as you have done in this video is a really nice thing. You were one of my favourite contestants from this series and I hope you all the best for the future.

What wonderful things you said about your “competition”. You two sounded unbelievably good. You should do some songs together on an album, in concert, that would be amazing. You are such an amazingly wonderful and humble man you are.

That was so nice and wonderful also showed that Will was caring too as went over to Tom you all have respect from me. I tried out for the Voice 2015 did not make it but met fantastic singers and very ice people. I may try again.

I have watched the video of you and Tom singing together so many times. You are a professional. People will remember you in the dual with Deanna. Tom had difficulty making his discussion. We could see it in his eyes. He didn't want to knock you out of the competition.

The key issue is that you are a class act.
Use the publicity of the appearance to keep on going with your own music. You never know what may come of it all. You may even end work working with someone like Deana, but even if it's your only collaboration with her, it was a good one. The most successful people are seldom the "winners" of such competitions, but the ones that grow from the experience.
My Dad and Mum used to watch your dad play live back in England in the 50’s, so we were brought up on Lonnie.. He was a huge part of our childhood, .. we knew every word to every song (still do!). I introduced my Hubby to your dad’s music on an old cassette tape in the early 80’s and of course our (now grown) kids were brought up with your dad’s music too, so we are all huge Lonnie Donegan fans. Was so thrilled to see you on here and just love your music too.. are you ever planning a trip to Australia, we would love to see your play! God bless you sweetheart and thanks for the music xoxo

It just seemed to me in the clip I saw , in the battle, was in one moment, you looking across at her you were like wow, she can really sing.
Awesome mate. I was on the Blind auditions but didn't get a turn. I loved every minute of it. You sounded great mate. A real joy to listen to.

I was like really checking if you have another video singing but couldn't find any and this is what I saw, I was disappointed that yours ended on the first battle though you sang so beautifully and it hits right through the heart but you surely have a good heart for saying things like this in this video. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I hope that you get what you deserve one day😇. GOD bless your beautiful soul.

Absolute gentleman! It takes guts to talk about it. I really loved the tone of your voice and the clarity, it feels different ( the good kind) Music is in your blood. It was clear during your blind auditions and when you performed with Sir Tom. You can definitely lock me in as a fan all the way from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 cheers!

There is a part in the song where Will turns to Tom , puts his hand on his face and makes the wooooohooo noise , and that sums it up , arguably the most difficult choice ever , its a shame Tom had to put you both together, but if he hadnt , we wouldnt have got one of the best duets on a singing contest

Watched the battle and you guys both sounded amazing! No shame in losing to an eventual finalist. If "stealing" is a thing in the UK, one of the other coaches should have stolen you.

You beat her in that competition. You could tell Tom wanted to pick you, but knew people would say it was favoritism. Just know that you performed this song flawlessly. Tom was put in a tough spot, when he had to make this call. They should have made an exception, when it came to making this choice, and had all four of them vote. You are awesome Peter, and so was your Dad. We love ya here in Tennessee.

I watched it as well but Peter was also amazing ans I wish he would have made it through. I love Tom but kinda of felt because he knew Peter's dad that's why he wasn't chosen.
Great pity that two of my favourites had to go up against each other. Deana's voice reminds me of Elkie Brookes though more than Gaga or Adele. Made for great TV though and I wish you all the best for what I am sure will be a great future.

Peter,...gets major mensch points. Don't think Deana has what it takes to win.
My main issue with the Voice format is that you put your own team members against each other right off the bat. That's not how a TEAM works. A team competes against another team. They should change it up - everything can improve. Change it to be team against team from the beginning, whether individuals or duets, etc.
But I also believe this is why the show Songland is a superior format - where song writers pitch to singers and producers and sometimes have a singer involved as well. It would be more fun to see creativity than competition.
Peter matched this song the best,,now had they choose awtapsong, maybe de nah but definitely Peter should have one, they should give her a wrap song

That was an unfair match, totally different voices, completely unmatchable. Peter is at Tom’s level. Very unfair.
