- What an amazing little tank ! But with no updates in nearly a decade we no longer carry it
For the best all in one aquariums todays and saltwater aquarium kits look for reef casa !

AI Prime HD Settings (reg prime not the new 16HD)
mounted as high as possible using their metal standard mount (not the flex arm)
The light is on for a total of 10 hours / day
It comes on at 11am and goes off at 9pm
Ramp up time is 1 hour, we use the easy set up option
Both blues overdrived to max power (around 112%)
UV 40%
Red green white all 10%
Don't ask me why we use it like this, made up the schedule based on experience with radions when we first set up the light. Got lucky and everything does very well / grows nicely
For this video increased the whites and decreased the blue so that the camera could accurately pick up some of the coral colors.
Any corals when you run a light worth more than the entire setup
That is my dream tank right there.
Thanks!
Subbed! Love the EVO. It was my first reef tank!
Is your Light always this colour ? Or just for the vid? Have same tank and looking for better light settings
How’s the evap with this layout? Is it much higher than the stock version? Do you recommend the AI prime for this tank? Thanks and great video!
Pretty misleading video. Was expecting it to be stock lighting until half way through the video you panned up to show an Al Prime which costs like £224 in the UK, which is £104 MORE expensive than the retail price (£120) for a stock fluval evo. You could almost buy 2 fluval evo's for the price of that light.
Hey you are 100% right. We found the stock light was "good" but the AI prime is UNREAL. It is very expensive, more than the whole aquarium kit in fact. But I think its 100% worth it, the amount of features, control, spectrum, spread, shimmer and overall reaction and health of the corals are out of this world. An aquarium is only as good a the light you put on it and this is the single best upgrade we made to our tank.
just get the aquaknight AO30, or the hipargero 30w. its a cheap light that works wonders. I have one on my evo and another on my 10g, everything is growing great and its only $60 usd
@@fragboxcorals your so full of shit. You just told someone that the fluval light is actually stronger in another comment when they said your video was misleading. I commented on that thread calling you out as well.
@@Mmanifesto22 the point of the video is not about the light but what kind of corals you can keep in a nano. And yes the fluval evo light puts out more power than then AI prime. We have tested it with our par meter. The light they give you out of the box is great, it just doesn't have nearly aa much control as the prime and is lacking full spectrum.
Nice tank
What filtration are you running on this?
filter floss and chemi pure elite
Is there a way you can upload your AI Prime settings so fellow users can do a quick download? Lovely tank. Just bought one from a LFS and got it going. Upgrading to an AIPrime soon
What filter combo are you using? Did u upgrade the stock filters?
makes me wonder if I am running mine too low. gorgeous tank!
I would love to have a tank light this! Awesome tank! I just stumbled upon your channel. I just subscribed.
What is an estimated price point for this many corals including the clams and dry rock of this reef setup in it’s entirety from your shop? I am located in Napanee Ontario and by far your shop is the best I’ve heard of for stocking the 13.5 evo tanks and I am going to be setting up a new tank in a home for children with disabilities which will be monitored by myself.
Hundreds or possibly 1000s included all these exact corals, us side I suppose.
I know your comment was old but I have one and stock light worked well for me. If I were you in that situation I would do an all pulsing xenia or possibly a mixture of zoas and clove polyps to keep it a little simpler.
This tank youre looking at here has a light on it that costs more than the tank with its stock light.
do you have a wavemaker in this tank or just using the return pump for flow
recently added a sicce voyageur 1000, this video was shot about 4 months ago, going to do an updated one, tank is completely different now lol
@@fragboxcorals thanks for the reply. have the same tank since August 2 clowns, a springer damsel and assorted inverts. current corals are gsp and xenia and couple palys
Verry Nice tank. I upgraded my evo to, and i have a kessil 360x over my tank.👍
What wrasse is it? i'am looking for a wrasse?
Hello , is dosing required for this tank , and if not is it weekly water changes?
do you have a download link for your ai prime schedule? and how far is your ai prime from the surface of the water?
regards from London UK !
Its mounted as high as possible with the AI metal mount. I don't know how to upload schedule but I have added the basic info to the description of the video
I thought clams needed high light ?
Nice tank what’s the maintenance on it and no fish ?
4 fish. 1 lightning maroon, 1 engineer goby ,1 dottyback and 1 small wrasse. Water change 25% every 2 weeks
What kind of clam is that?
Hello I would like to know how you keep the clams make a video about it
Ok will do ! trick is don't touch them
Great video
How tall and wide is it?
Can you please inform me what random flow generator you have attached to the filter output
random flow generator from vivid creative aquatics, its awesome !
Do u not have a lid
how do you manage to keep the tank so clean??
lots of nassairus snails and 2 large conch
What size bracket are you using for the prime 12 or 18 “?
Using the regular metal arm, not the flexible gooseneck one. I think its 12''
Sweet
That is stunning👌
Thanks!
beauty
false information when you have upgraded the light... use stock light for these type of videos
So this video shows you what corals you can keep only if you upgrade the light...? Rename the video then please. Misleading.
you can keep all the same corals under the stock light, which is actually
stronger than the Ai prime
Stay far far away silicon split at side in less then 6 months and fluval will not honor warranty
Where did you buy it from ? Fluval has been really good with us for warranty and we have yet to see a silicone failure
@@fragboxcorals aquarium world Lafayette indiana I uploaded my first video ever to show what I'm talking about not a great video and I have never ever seen silicon come apart on a tank in over a decade of reef keeping and iv setup 100s of tanks between myself and others couldn't believe it happened and I am working on transitioning everything to a biocube also if anyone watches the video please excuse the bryopsis (it took off after lossing a firefish in the rockwork somewhere)will be getting rid of it durring the transission to the biocube
Bronchitis
What a pointless video. Your not keeping it in with original lights
