I had to point it out as i find it fascinating that we combine all types of Chinese Languages in our daily language no mattter what race depending on the environment we grow in.

What I found is that a foreigner can learn bahasa indonesia with its slang but not bahasa melayu. Sound weird. And they can also master or fluent the states dialect such as Trengganu, Kelate, bahasa utara...but not the malay language. I wonder why...
lunar new year is for muslim because muslim uses lunar time system to observe new year . chinese uses solar + lunar time system to observe new year. thats why every 4 years you have a “闰年”. korean can do whatever they like but dont try to spread wrong info in the justification of “respect” other asians .
