I’ve just had a cat put to sleep she was 19& 1/2 years old her name was shadow by name and nature she never left my side I miss her so much I got her as a 3week old hand reared her from the cats protection so she stayed with me she was special needs she couldn’t meow the vet near could find what was wrong with her she used to squeak xx I new what she wanted with that she used to get in the kitten cage to love the kitten I was working on she would wash them which was lovely to see but l also have three more cat summer long haired she 8 years old and sparkles 6 and smudge she white and black and now RIVER she’s a tortie and white l love 💕 seeing them happy playing there all getting on together now and they get fed together and then they like being brushed and river love being brushed as well x

Even though this is an old video all of your videos are timeless and much needed. After learning how the vet community had treated you almost a decade ago, I feel so bad that evil vets just like evil doctors thrive, still practice big pharma medicine, and get lots of money. I pray that God will bless you richly in all aspects of your life till the end of your days.
Trust me you've never seen an evil vet. The evil vet is hated by every animal. They curse at her like no other.
My cat had an acute case of diarrhea but was otherwise fine and active. By chance I found your video, made a list and overnighted the Arsenicum Album, the Fortiflora as well as some Weruva pumpkin. I also made a homemade puree with some rice and fresh cooked salmon and added some when I reintroduced her regular food. It was incredible, after just one dose of Arsenicum and one of the Fortiflora her very next bowel movement was completely normal and formed. I can't thank you enough for all your wonderful tips!

Hi just wondering how you gave her the pill? Did u put it in food? My cat is acting fine too but diarrhea for days now I am trying to alleviate it for her nothing has worked so far was thinking of putting that pill into tuna? Or is that a good idea 💡
@@sandrad2006 they are so small I just popped it in her mouth where it dissolves. Just keep an eye to make sure she doesn’t spit it out. Hope your baby feels better! If it doesn’t help take her to the vet you don’t want her to become dehydrated bc of days of diarrhea! Let me know how it goes! 🙏

@@sandrad2006 so you’re not going to take her to the vet if she gets worse? I’m not sure where you are but in emergencies vets are essential. I hope your baby gets better but the fact that you don’t believe in veterinarians stresses me out for the sake of your cat. Wish her the best.
My poor male kitten 7-8 mos had another vomit and diarrhea episode followed by not eating for 2 days. Last one was two mos ago and $600 plus two nights in vet hospital they returned him to me with no idea what was going on. This time I made your homemade turkey recipe about 1/2 hour after giving him a TBS of unseasoned bone broth with probiotics. He loves bone broth. I make it and freeze in ice cube trays. Its so easy to use to give probiotics in a syringe (worst case scenario) or a tiny dish. This turkey recipe was offered to him and he ate and kept it all down today. I pulled up all food about 12 hrs before the AM feed. Worked like a charm for him but I am ordering him the other items (DE, L-Tryptophan and Immodium) you mention in this video. I am developing a kitty apothecary ☺️. GOD BLESS YOU DR JONES. You are a gift fromGod. Peace of mind is sooo much more helpful than even saving on vet bills.

Thank God for your videos' for someone who no longer works and is on a fixed income you are wonderful!!! Every time I have to take my pets to the vet you are looking at a 300.00 dollar bill at least! They are more interested these days to sell you their vet plan options then they are in treating your pet! So aggravating!

Dr.Jones your what a real true Veterinarian is that has real heart & soul for animals. My kind of human being (an angel). I trapped these feral kittens that were living under my shed in the back yard. The first two I trapped I took to get spay & neutered and shots. I thought they looked about 5 months old but was told they were 8 months old as they're small in size. About a month later two 5 to 6-week old looking kittens I have seen eating out of the food bowl I leave out for my big Tom feral cat I trapped yrs ago and take care of. I trapped the two little kittens also and one went to a loving home and the other I just fell in love with and kept her. Well the 8-month-old kittens were supposed to live outside in the back yard as feral cats and I feed and care for them. I was building them a cat house and couldn't finish it before the cold weather started in so they had to stay in my house. They're very sweet kittens & gentle but only allow me to pet them and can't pick them up. Their both not trusting yet. I told both my Veterinarian that their stool was real mushy and stinks really really strong all through the house and once in a while real watery stool. They both told me they couldn't help me because I would have to be able to give them the medicine orally 2 X's a day because the kittens won't allow me to hold them at all to give the medicine. Their wild and I am working with them to trust me but that can take a long time. I remembered seeing a video you post about rashes on dogs before. I've been thinking really hard on what to do for these poor kittens and I remembered seeing you on youtube helping people with their animals. Am I blessed I found you again and with a video of just the problem I'm having with the kittens? I'm going to try the probiotics you said to help and see if these poor kittens get back to their stools being normals. It's been like this for a while so I'm not sure which to start with the medicines but I think since they had it for months now I'll start with the last one you suggested. They haven't vomited at all though. Thank you so very much for the advice, it really is a blessing for these little sweet feral kittens as I call them but there over a yr. old now. Thank you.

My kitten has tiña and diarrhea, since hes been a stray kitten at first when i took him in his stool was normal then the diarrhea started i treated him for parasites as the vet told me but the diarrhea is still going on and since im giving him oral treatement for tiña im scared id be giving too much meds if i started oral treatement gor diarrhea nd his tiny body wouldnt be able to support it, he is 3 months old now, the tiña is getting better but the diarrhea is at its worse , any advice please?

Arsenicum Album was such a big help for us with our 18y.o. tabby girl. Thank you so much for making this video!!! Poor girl had the diarrhea for over a week. When she had 1st developed pancreatitis she had the diarrhea for over 2 months and the vet just simply said give her chicken & only chicken. No other solutions!! We found a wonderful natural supplement called pancreas booster & it helped treat the root cause. Diarrhea stopped that time, for a long time.

I've been dealing with Guardia and coccidia in my colony of kitties. I used coconut oil just a tiny bit. Now my kittens are laying cable so to speak. They had very loose stool. This morning very easy cleanup. I didn't give too much since the oil itself can actually cause loose stool . I hope you investigate this and make a video to help others. I give my cats plain yogurt with a syringe about 1 -2 tables. Whenever they are sick. It stops fever and helps them have a appetite. But I have given my cats peptobismol just a tad in some yogurt to stop upset stomach upset and stop diarrhea. And that was told to me by a vet. Now they cant stand pepto at all. But in 2 days it stops.
Yogurt is bad for cats since they're lactose intolerant.

My 10 weeks old kittens went to the vet got 1st shoots and 1 has vomiting and diarrhea for now 14 hrs he wants to eat but dosen't what can i do
Vero C call the vet and ask them. Cats can tolerate dehydration but, kittens might be much more sensitive. You might want to return to your vet. I personally would offer it some yogurt but, not milk. My cat likes the yogurt that I eat strawberry but, it doesn’t like the pieces of fruit. So, I get the cheap stuff. But, I’ve had organic and it’s very good. I usually add some food grade diatomaceous earth. I bought a 10lbs. bag but, you only use a pinch per a few teaspoons of yogurt which I mix well and then add a top of just unmixed yogurt. I got mine at Amazon a while ago so, just start with plain yogurt and then the vet :)
Vero C diatomaceous earth really clears the gut. Makes the poop solid. It’s also the best thing I found which is a remedy for parasites like worms because they can’t digest it and rips them up from the inside

My cat has had diarrhoea for 2 weeks . It started just after I had him on antibiotics and pain relief for his bad tooth. The tooth has now fallen out a d his breath is amazing but now has diarrhoea. I thank you so much, Dr Jones, you have saved me many dollars on vet bills for my kitty, ( I am on a fixed income and just can't go every time). My cat was ill and was given antibiotics, now he has diarrhea, I am going to give him the Acidophilus Probiotic, just I did not understand the dose, you said 1 Million Organisms, twice a day, but then something about units per body weight, that was not clear, my cat weighs 13 pounds, do I give him a whole tablet or smaller. Sorry to bother you, but I really need to know! Thanks so much! I love my cat dearly.

My cat has had chronic diarrhea for the last 3 years since my mom passed away. I am now her cat mom and have tried to have her diagnosed by my vet. I suspect she has IBS. Thanks for your video, I have started cooking for my cat after reading about benefits of bone broth. Have been feeding her slow cooked chicken and broth (she eats better than I do). She is still having IBS symptoms though, so maybe the next step will be to take her off the dry biscuits and adding probiotic. It's a very disheartening illness to live with, I hate to see her uncomfortable xx

My 11yr cat got diarrhea for the first time ever.
On the 4th day, I decided to withhold food for 12 hrs.
That meant his brother had to go withhold as well.
He is well hydrated.
I began at 10pm.
They started acting up, grouchy with each other most of the night.
But at the 12hr mark,
I introduced food- he did not want it ! He know it's doing him good !!
I know it's doing his immune system good as well, because I'm an intermittent faster

We have a eight month old cat named Storm that we got from a local shelter (PAWS). She is awesome very active and seems very happy but she has a hernia which the vet said didn’t need to be repaired when we took her in to be spayed but I still feel a small bump where the hernia is it hasn’t gotten larger ... The reason I mention this is that she has regular bowl movements but they are usually softer than our other two cats. When we first got her they were green but now they are more brown. She use to vomit a bit but doesn’t any more.. but the stool is still soft. and she use to have bad gas and still has a bit of gas now and then but not as much as she use to.. We have had her since Sept. We thought the soft stool and gas was from a change in diet or just nerves from being in a new location. At a young age she had an upper respiratory issue that she was given medication for. Could the hernia or medication she was given at such a young age cause her to have a chronic soft stool? We feed our cats well no grain foods Weruva tin food mixed with Pets go Raw and Origin brand dry food. We have started putting a small amount of Diatomaceous earth in their food, we started doing this just last week . A friend told me to try putting Omega Alpha brand Probiotic 8 Plus powder in their food.. We also started adding this about a week ago.. Storm doesn’t vomit anymore but her stool is still softer than is should be. We are going to take a sample to the vet this week. I am all for home treatments and is there any thing else you could suggest we do to help our kitty in the meantime... As I said she seems very happy and VERY active with a good appetite and has regular bowel movements but they are softer than I think they should be .. Thank you :)
The hernia would not, medication can. I would try and wean off of all meds 1st

Thank you, sir. I so love you. I have a year old cat that was basically born with diarrhea and missing the front top teeth. I tried many hard foods to no avail. I wasn't brave enough to try soft food, thinking it would make it worse.
This cat also was born with feline herpes. He could not really smell foods, so only ate the tried and true hard food. Just today I got him to eat canned food. I have been supplementing all of the cats with l-lysine, and he cant get any from the hard food. So, I'm going to get him some canned Turkey cat food, because it seems my best bet.

Adopted a sweet 8 year old girl about 8 months ago, poor thing has dirraha bad. My vet got me W/D dry food which has been okay. Poo is still liquidy-ish but at least with this food she can make it to the litterbox. Other foods she just starts pooing on the floor no where near her box. But Imma try some of your recommendations cuz having an upset tummy is no fun
after struggling for honestly months, a mix of probiotic and plain cooked chicken is whats turned the corner for my girl. i urge you to GO BACK TO BASICS and start there ! hope you get a breakthrough!

what about bentonite clay, is it pretty much the same thing as the diatomaceous earth? And can it be used instead of the diatomaceous earth? I know that in the intestines it will clear out bad bacteria if there is an infection in the intestine. I think I know that anyway :-) and that in itself could clear up diarrhea in some instances I would think

my cat is very animated! . . even today! he's had about only five doses, once about every other day, twice a week . . he still has diarrhea :-( . . diarrhea over a period of three months :-(
Middle aged long haired cat with a bad hip - causing irritation and colon problems when pooping. (No megacolon but colon issues due to his weight and hip) I do need to mention, his vet since birth wants him on Miralax daily for ‘forever’ or until this gets figured out.
Almost a week on the transition to an all wet diet.

Proviable probiotics always work great for my cats whether a paste or capsules, always help to an extent depending on varying underlying issues. If it’s just upset stomach it should get it back to the usual working routine otherwise I see my vet.
