It was a big decision for me to edit this into a 30-minute video. The reality is, that on UA-cam, most people only watch the first few minutes of a video so it's tempting to compress the most 'interesting' content into those minutes and keep the video short. In this case, I wanted to do justice to Rui and Magdalena and showcase what it is like for real-life archaeologists in the field. I will be forever grateful and inspired by their enthusiasm and passion and for allowing me to 'tag along'! ☕ Feeling generous? 🥰 ➡ Buy me a coffee! www.buymeacoffee.com/theportugeeza ☕ 🎉 Show Your Support, Fee-Free! 🎉 💸 Drop a Tip in My Virtual Jar 💸 No fees, just appreciation! 👉 Tip Me revolut.me/anthonybryantg
We went through there today! It's freaking amazing! So beautiful 💜 this is a really interesting video! The burial chamber is amazing! 💜😆😆there's a strange granite track behind the Quinta...it leads right up top of mountain with amazing views 💜💜
I rarely don't watch an entire video on YT. Only if it is shockingly terrible or disgusting, will I close it prematurely. I have realized from your comment that I am probably weird in this respect.
These videos are the salt in the soup, when you have someone who knows what they are talking about. I love history. As ever portuguese people are always nice, thank you for this field trip ! Greetings from Hamburg
I'll definitely watch it till the end. You combine two of my interests, Portugal and archeology/ancient history. And I learned something new about dolmens. Thanks for your video
Great job Tony!!! Very interesting. Be careful, your teaching experience is showing. My wife and I think they should have a drone for some of those shots this way they don’t have to drive over the burial site? Nice video. One of your best.
Loved this video! Interesting and informative. I showed it to my husband. He is an arqueologist and has been escavating in Carregal do Sal. Not far from Oliveira de Hospital. He also loved the video. 🤗💝
An interesting video. Portugal has plenty of ancient history and a good amount from the age of exploration. It is in the last 200-300 years that there has been a dearth of accomplishment. I imagine archaeologists searching for signs of achievement over the past two centuries would have their work cut out for them.

Thanks Tony, for the interview and showing our day work as an archeologist and the rich historical-cultural heritage from Portugal.
Thanks a lot for your time Luis! I think it's very interesting for many people!
Um bom trabalho, Luís. Um abraço

Cool! I really enjoyed watching this video. I love history - so this just checks the box for me. Thank you for taking us on this adventure with you.
Your best video for me by far. Love it and thank you!
I suggest the locals get together and fundraise to buy their archeologists a drone?
Nice! Lucky you, meeting those nice archeologits!
