  • Following on from last Saturdays video that covered my Bergen loadout, this is the second and final part that covers my Admin Bag and what I class as Level 1 Survival items.
Level 1 items should be on your person and NOT kept in your pack, this means you don't have all your eggs in one basket!

Very useful video! This is exactly how useful items should actually be carried - Levels that compliment each other.
I would add five £20 notes (very multifunctional and unbelievably capable in getting things done - it's almost a sorcery of sorts; and the way that things are going, one can even use them as tinder).
The greatest problem in the UK is actually sourcing drinkable water. One might have prefilters, filters, puritabs, steel containers etc, but, let's face it - Britain is a small overpopulated island and the birthplace of industrial revolution - most rivers, streams and creeks (especially in south England) are way too contaminated to produce drinkable water. I might be VERY wrong on this one, but probably a 4-way sillcock key would be a sensible addition for taps that can't be opened with a multitool. Look out for Churches on your maps.

Water is definitely a concern. I carry a Radar key and a British Water Ways key just in case.

Nice shock cord loops on the knives. A stick of heat gun glue is a great idea.

All of your gear looks “brand new” as if it’s, NEVER BEEN USED. Surely there should be some wear and tear, if it is EDC?🤔

    • @p2snetwork

It's not edc, I'd look a Doris carting that lot about everyday. And with the exception of the poop scoop all of it's probably close to 10 year's old 😂
Thanks for watching and have a great evening 👍
The HT micro FAK has been pocket carried 5 days a week for a couple of years. The Viperade pouch about 18 months, the SAK 2;years on its second set of scales and the Fenix coming upto 3 years. The rest, IE contents of the Snugpak are not EDC.
I had to look to see what vid you were critiquing 👍

@@p2snetwork All my 10 year old gear looks beat up. How often do you actually use it? Maybe take it out once a year to make a video with it?
I first noticed how “new” things were, when I saw that baseball cap, it looks pristine. You haven’t been wearing that for 10 years mate🤣

You're a lot better organised than me Alan, I carry plenty bits and bobs in pockets but they're sometimes taken out to put in the top of rucksack if they're awkward. That Platypus carbon filter looks good, I'll need to get one for my water pouch. Cheers for sharing.

      Excellent video...
I'm particularly impressed with your wearable head torch mods ..
The clicker is a great addition....
My edc mini bic lighter is wrapped in waxed jute and gorilla tape plus a ranger band .
The pencil sharpener is a great item , ...
      Avon
      " skin so soft "
BEST bug repellent on earth imo
My filter is the Grayl geopress...
No assembly required and also carries water .
I don't drink tea or coffee so my brew kit just has oxo cubes and soup packets .
      Impressive kit ...
      You're obviously very knowledgeable...
