- This was a project for a film class I took at the Interlochen Arts Academy when I was 16 years old. Carol Eilber was the teacher of the class; the jazz band ("Studio Orchestra") director, Dave Sporny, agreed to be the snowbound subject of the film, sharing the starring role with a cheeseburger from the cafeteria. It's a silly little movie but it brings back good memories of late winters at the Interlochen Arts Academy.
Thanks for sharing, Peter!
My pleasure!
Is that you on drums peter =no one sounds like you and it sound like you.Your playing always make me forget where I am at that moment=makes me dreamy and feel hopeful and in love .LOVE YA PLAYING MATE.
That was cool. Reminds me of silly short films made with Super 8 cameras as a kid with my cousin. I was thinking, that burger looks pretty good. I remembered the burgers from my high school being pretty good. I liked the tree shots with the other shot superimposed over top, worked well with the music. A great time to be grateful and reminisce. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing Peter!... I love going back to my youth and watching / listening to the projects I came up with at that time (I have "tons" of audio cassette tapes and reels of film of interesting "stuff")... I'm wondering what grade you got on this one!??!!?!?
Nice - could I get that cheeseburger's autograph?
Good vibe in difficult times. Great to see!!
Nice! Love the film and the music. I can hear the Fender Rhodes in this piece. Thanks for sharing and if you have more I'd love too see it. 📽🎬🎞
The soundtrack is a perfect fit for the visuals. I can’t explain how, but it just simply is (for me at least): fade to black.
C+
Not to draw any attention from this cinematic epic, but was there ever an alto sound like Paul Desmond’s? I think that’s Simon & Garfunkel’s “For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her”, yes? Thanks for sharing. No offense, but I’m glad you followed your musical ambitions!
