Plus, the money goes in many different ways (taxes in your own country, transport companies, suppliers, etc). In the end is easy. You prefer a Chinese produced Tesla and have the money for it? I have basically decided this is the car I am buying, also I want that colour, which I am sure it's a little more money but it's base price is under what I was expecting an EV to cost.

Different rims than are standard up until now. Do these rims come on the EU versions? Also wonder how good/bad the seats are.
Those are (aftermarket) Winter Wheels - at 1:29 you can see the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol - makes sense, considering this isn't just a showcar, but registered and actively being driven in Norway.
From the factory, they come with different wheels, (same size, on Luxury but different design + wheel covers). I like the look though!
I test drove a couple of weeks ago. I found the seats supportive but comfortably soft at the same time. Suit my back very well.

Saw one for the first time on the road in SW London today - so pleased to see a somewhat cheaper, somewhat smaller full BEV finally arrive. It deserves to sell like hot cakes.

I don't want AWD forward and 2WD reverse
If you for some reason end up in a ditch. The best way out, is usually to reverse. MG decided that you only need 2wd in reverse, and used a one way connection to save energy when that motor is not in use.
Reminds me of a VW Golf, plain and simple.

Oil leak, auto hold not working, driving mode and regen setting not retained. Unable to pre heat / cool the cabin regardless of charging. These seem to be common problems. Welcome your review Bjorn.

The eyed black rod with a thread is to screw into a hole at the front of the car. Normally covered by a body-coloured round cap/lid. It is for being towed to protect bodywork and mechanical parts on the axle.

@@masterblaster4784 yes we cancelled it we would of had in in a week or 2 but I think people are still having the oil leak with the 2nd batch. If you wait until the 3rd or 4th batch they should have sorted it out properly. There are also quality issues where some people's seats are already creasing and beginning to wear. Most cars have a warped rear under tray aero panel. The plastics are more flimsy than in other cars although most people expect that given the price but the software is a bit buggy with it only pre heating when unplugged or still charging but not full yet among other things but I'm not following it as much after cancelling. If you ordered now you should be alright as I think it will be next year in the 3rd or 4th batch. Be warned the cheap standard range Lifepo4 car has cold gate issues and won't charge more than 84kw way less than the full 117kw and people with the Long range are getting 141kw charging speed ! I don't think the car will last a very long time the Trophy trim is a lot better quality but I see this car showing its age more than other cars due to the build quality.

@@masterblaster4784 good idea it's a good car to have on a PCP for 3 or 4 years until other manufacturers start building cheaper EVs or things like the ID3 are around £25k on the used market. We've decided to go with a 38kwh Ioniq as it can get 200 miles in summer almost as much as a 62kwh e+ Nissan Leaf Tekna. Efficiency saves you money 👍

You have the cupra born, which is cheaper then id3 here in Norway. seing how expensive the Skoda enyaq is, i dont think Skoda is a cheap Brand anymore also i cant see european brands compete with chinese on price unless EU tax imported cars tougher.
Hopefully not on the id3 platform, they need to improve it and make a cheap car without infotainment, just put a phone holder like in the small škodas. Rely on economies of scale if they cant handle software.

LOL! Its a towing hitch in case you break down. There will be a panel to pop off on the front bumper in front of the place where you screw it in. Then you can get a fossil car to use a rope to tow you to the nearest charger when your battery dies. 😁

MG4 is limited inside (small screen & too few USB), lack of storage (no frunk) & too limited backseat (no arm rest & hatch to trunk).
Same brand. Similar price. That's why it makes sense to compare them.
