Big congratz for the final badge ! It would be funny if Fissure worked haha. Let's see if Safia got better in the next battle with Chris ! Will it be the last time you two will battle ?
It really would've! I was hoping Giovanni would get her with Horn Drill or something to keep her on her toes...but instead, it's up to me to challenge her instead... But good news! It won't be our last battle! Provided I can find the time, I'm going to try to sneak ahead and challenge her at the Indigo Plateau... ;)
Awesome! Safia beat Giovanni aka The Evil Guy (aka whatshisname, the Gangster, the Mafiaboss Looking Guy)! Your team is always prepared if you have a Psychic Pokémon with you. Seeing both Flippy and Lalilay in the team, I knew she was going to win easily. I'll just ignore Lalilay getting stomped and horned to death, we didn't see that :D I only just noticed, is the Tamer sprite holding a lollipop in his other hand, or is he supposed to have a backpack or something? I can't quite tell. Chris said that Arbok is a "Ground type snake". Mistake or another gaslighting attempt, who can say? "Flippy has Tackle too, you can do Tackle battle!" "No, I'm just gonna do Blizzard." She has learned a lot, I see! :D The end is approaching fast, and I'm doubling down on my estimate that we'll see the final episode in January. It's going to be a bit sad as well since I don't want this to end, but it'll be a fun bunch of episodes until that time in any case!
Safia has so many names for Giovanni! I think I forget half of them every time, haha Lalilay died a lot more than usual...I REALLY hope Safia doesn't figure out how to evolve it too quickly...and if she does, I hope Alakazam doesn't have much of a defense boost
Oh, surely Safia already has an idea on how to get Kadabra to evolve. She just needs your cooperation with it haha! Alakazam with good defence would be incredibly fearsome, but I don't think that's something to worry about. WHAT? It's actually supposed to be a lollipop! I almost did not mention it, because it seemed too ridiculous. Is it like a 'carrot and stick' type of theme, only with 'lolly and whip' instead? This game never stops giving, and I'm now dead xD I can imagine the conversation with Giovanni: "Can I please train at your gym? I promise you I'm very strong!" "...Is that a lollipop in your hand?" "Yes. It's a HYPNOTIZING lollipop! Very dangerous!" "..." "See the spiral? Look deeply into it! OoOoOo, you want me heree!" "Please stop doing that." "I also have a Rhyhorn." "Ah, ok, you're in!" Happy to know the videos won't stop coming! I'll keep watching whatever you put out, it doesn't even have to be Pokémon themed. I actually found you through your Kirby's Dream Land let's play, and enjoyed it a lot. I had just finished that game on hard mode, and wanted to see if other people suffered on the final boss like me! :D
@@M1sterWhiskers I will forever fear Lalilay evolving! ahaha I told her I'm willing to trade whenever she wants, she just has to let me know. So it's on her now~ (But I think she thinks Kadabra evolves by level, still =D ) I think the lollipop thing is a troll from whomever edited the page though. I want to see an official source! lmao One of the Tamers has an Arbok, so it MUST be a hypnotizing thing. The Rhyhorn guy makes sense, but unless Giovanni has a soft-spot for Arbok, then it doesn't make sense! I'm glad you enjoyed the KDL LP! =D That was definitely made before our videos got "good" imo, haha Are there any other GB games that you like/have nostalgia for?
We may never have the truth behind the mystery that is Tamer's cleverly disguised hypnosis tool. At least the sprites up to gen 3 are ambiguous enough so you can think what you will. But what about the model from the Let's go Pikachu & Eevee games? That is beyond any doubt a lollipop. Someone at Game Freak made a choice. The right choice, if you ask me! :3 Your video making skills have improved a lot since over 3 years ago, but Kirby was still a fun watch! After all, it made me check what other lps you had. ('Oooh, they are doing Pokémon, let's gooo!' :D) I only ever owned Blue and Silver for the GB (Color), and didn't play a ton of other games on it at the time. I remember borrowing the three Super Mario Land titles from someone, and those were fun. I think I played Link's Awakening DX on it as well and loved it. That one I definitely also emulated later so I might misremember. Most other games I experienced through emulation later. Most notable ones are the two Zelda Oracle games, Dragon Quest 1, 2&3, FF Legend, FF Adventure and Harvest Moon! All great! I'm much better versed in GBA games, again mostly through emulation. The ones I actually owned (and still own!) were the 2 Golden sun games. Other favourites include FF Tactics Advance, Avance Wars 1 & 2, Fire Emblem, Zelda Minish Cap, the Castlevanias, and the Metroids. Oddly, no gen 3 Pokémon games (yet!), I suppose Silver served my poke needs for a long time! My most vivid gba memory is putting in Blue or Silver and realizing I could play it in widescreen! That was so cool! xD
@@M1sterWhiskers The...lollipop is a retcon! Just like them having eyes that are more than just lines!! It doesn't count as real. ahaha Thanks! Though I would hope that after 3 years we'd improve! ahaha And interesting -- for some reason I thought you found us through the Pokemon LP...that seems to be how most people find us! I was pretty much the same way with my GBC. I owned Silver, and then Yellow. Later got some other games. But I emulated a whole ton! I loved Link's Awakening, and the FFL games, and even Harvest Moon! FFA never rubbed me the right way though, and I never did give DQ a good chance... As for the GBA...you just reminded me that the widescreen feature existed on for GB/C games! I completely forgot! haha I also loved Golden Sun, but I actually had a really limited library with the GBA. Tons of games I missed on that console. I played Mario & Luigi a few years back and loved it. But I need to give Advance Wars, FE, and the Zelda games a proper go some time!
