Aspiring indie animator here, I'm so glad we still have hope! I would love to animate my own characters in a series or more one day, because animation is truly something very interesting and fun to do. I've watched multiple indie animations, Spooky Month, Monkey Wrench, TADC, etc.. and all of them are very good! I'm afraid of AI taking our jobs, but we will always be here to protect indie animation! Thank you for this video :D
My man! Start by not calling yourself "an aspiring animator". You are an animator! Mindset matters. For a long time, I kept the same "aspiring animator" mindset, and found myself to not be able to make stuff. A change of mindset goes a long way.
Just because AI bros want a talent, doesn't mean they should get it for free. For example, if I want to join the olympics? I train! I run! I do exersise! If I want to be good at the piano? I dedicate my time and effort practicing that instrument! And if I want to be an artist? BOOM, Pick up a pencil and a paper and start practicing! 30-100 days! That's all it takes!
Even IF this is a tired topic to talk about, us artists and animators should never stop bringing awareness to this type of thing. You never know if even just that *one* person may not know about the sheer growth and terror AI is bringing to the art/animation industry/community. We need to support each other now and most certainly in the future.
new video !!! and yeah i definitely agree. indie animation is truly amazing imo. i’ve watched a lot of indie shows (my favorites being murder drones, ramshackle, and tadc) and i feel like they just seem to have a lot more love and care put into them, compared to some of the things that larger companies are making. if that makes sense.

Indie animation is coolio you proved some vaild points here One of my fav indie content shows is TADC(the amziang digtal cricus ) it is just gorgeous and so so amazing!!!! It’s seriously a masterpiece ❤
Anime ai thing is just a test to see of they can make an ai show that's popular and will work we shouldn't give it positive rep cause it's gonna encourage them let these cheap companies know there ai slop are not appreciated
My mom sent me two reels on Instagram on how I can make animation with AI. I know her heart is in the right place but it feels like a bruh moment. No shade to her though, my mother has had my back for my dreams and I love her efforts to help me fulfill my dream of being an animator.

I love tadc personally the art of murder. And Murder drones.... Indie animation is so much fun to watch. The writing is superb and it's honestly beautiful. The art of murder for example was a change of pace. Despite the dark plot, it its a really toy story esc inspired story :) Plus it has me hooked. I wonder...who did this to oc. I agree with you 100%! Recently the animators reach and agreement with AMTTPT ( sorry it i prounce it wrong) but it turns out THERE'S STILL 0 PROJECTIONS AGAINST AI .im personally pissed . Not only is this just a Lets appease the animators and get them back on our side. This is just bribery. Yes they got raises but that's stil not enough. Will support the animation guild to the end. #ISTANDFORANIMATION! BUT IF ....it doesn't work out and ai sadly wins. Indie animation... I trust you
