I really appreciate seeing braids on people who don't have eight pounds of extensions in -- so much more relatable! These braids look beautiful!
SAME!
And yet I have to wear extentions to have as much hair as her.
Dude, seriously. I get that those braids look better and make for a better picture, but it makes it completely irrelevant for someone who just wants to throw their hair into a braid and have it look decent
My hair is so shitty I need them to have a braid thicker than my pinky 🤓🙄
My hair look like dry broom still I keep trying hairstyles now and then. I loved the trick the lady showed. But I think droopy braids look cool as well on many girls. Probably its just the way they can carry it elegantly. But I will try this on my dry hair. People mock my hair all the time but I cant take care of it. I stay occupied with other things. I like to type.
I’m 62 but still love having long hair. I do archery and my hair needs to be securely out of the way. I love these new braid ideas! So creative yet simple ❤
YAY! So happy to hear that 😊❤thanks for being here!
@@LaineyMarieBeauty ❤️
It doesn't happen often that I read a comment and think "wow, this person is so cool!" but how could it not happen now, with yours?! :D
@@everyhandlesalreadytaken awwww thanks!
@ ylva - me, too! I don't do archery, but I am active outside and usually just put my hair in a tried-and-true pony tail. I love these different ways to do a secure, beautiful braid! Sometimes I do just love the lazy braid, tho ;o)
I actually think the droopy braid looks quite good (just has that natural feel to it). But I also quite liked the other braids you showed. I really aprreciate the effort you always put into your videos. 🥰🥰🥰
Me too 🥰🥰🥰
I like the droopy braid too! Wouldn’t be ideal though for certain occasions, weather, outfit, etc…. a lot of factors 😂❤ but I’m def a loose braid fan!!
Muchas gracias por explicar El paso a paso de las trencitas!! ❤😊 Un saludo desde españa 👋
I think it's good when pulled over one shoulder and some front pieces are pulled out!
@@carferfer7219you’re welcome 😊
OMG as someone with long hair but with A LOT of layers, I could neverrr do a loose braid!! THIS IS GOD SENT. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
YAY! You're so welcome :)
I love that it lifts the braid up off the neck so it's less hot & tangly! Thank you!
Yay! You're so welcome!
Love hearing the kids in the background!❤ How women get things done! Kudos for you!
Your makeup is so pretty in this video and I really appreciate you explaining each step out loud. It can be really hard to follow a tutorial sometimes by only watching it.
You're so welcome. Thanks for the sweet comment 💗
As someone with intensely thick & unruly Scottish hair that never holds a braid for an hour-this is GREATLY appreciated! Subbed!
Also, you have amazing eyes & I love your makeup look you did for this.
Awe yay! so happy to help! Thank you!!
Im a fan of the droopy braid. Is super cute, cozy and feminine looking ❤️
I love the droopy too! just not for all occasions!
The long fly always are so recognizable! You hardly ever see hair styles on here where people have those, nice to see something relatable 🙃
ahhhh I love the droopy braid... I call it my Elden Lord braid (you play Elden Ring you get it) ... comfy to wear, does not pull on the head and just looks really awesome maybe cause my hair is soooo much longer but the droopy is the most comfy braid to wear if I wanted a braid tight to my head would do a french or inverted french but I do not ... love mine lose and comfy
I love a loose braid too! But sometimes I want a braid that looks a little more put together. But I do love a boho look!
Oh my gosh thank you for this! I've got pretty long hair and my braids (unless started from a regular pony tail) have always looked just like your first one. ok enough though they can get undone and messy pretty quick, but I thought that's just how life is lol. This looks so put together and is actually doable even for me-yay!
The 1st one is nice but it can get pretty messy as it continues to loosen throughout the day! I hope this hack will help you! Thank you for watching and for the comment!💗
Omg, actually EASY hair do hack! Both ways were super easy and quick to do, even for me, who is terribly bad at doing my hair. Thank you for this video! 😍
Yay! You're welcome!!
I will never regular braid again! This is so cool!
You’re a godsend! It takes a certain kind of talent to find a way to improve upon the tried and true, and demonstrate it in a way that anyone can learn. Thank you!
Too kind!!! Thank you so much!!!
Finally a hair hack on braiding that I can follow! Thank you for talking and braiding at a reasonable pace for a student! I did like the second one better. Although you are absolutely right that the first one is more distinctive with the crossover of the side sections, making it look more unique.
Yay!! You're so welcome! Yay thanks for the comment!!!
These are great ideas for my super fine ( not thin) hair that sags in almost every style I try. Thank you!🥰🌻
Yay!! Glad you like! Thank you!!
Beautiful!.. thankyou for sharing!
Thank you! I have been sooooo tired of my braid looking scraggly. I'm trying these right away!
Thank you so much for this 😊
Love the finishing touch with the curls 👌
Very helpful. Thanks so much. My 8 year old one will love it. She's got such long hair and always a braid. Every day. This will help her so much. And so easy. Yes 🙌
❤ worked well on my fine, thin hair. Thank you 🙏😊
Woohoo! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for these 😊
Love them both! Thank you! ❤
Thank you 😊
Wow! This makes more sense! That first step is the most important!

You're welcome!

Great ideas for the tighter braids. And I like that she’s doing it on herself
Thank you!!
Amazing! Instead of looking frumpy you look FABULOUS!
Awe thank you!!
Really love it!! Can’t wait to try😊❤!! Thanks!!!
Even though postpartum hair loss did me dirty I love how thorough your tutorials are
Girl I get it!! I feel like my hair is just now recovering from PP hair loss Lol (it's been almost 3 years since I gave birth)
Beautiful, thank you!
Yay thanks for the comment!!!
love you have helped me so much ! GAME CHANGER!
That is brilliant, I can't believe I never thought of that. Love it, it looks so much better than my usual braid
YAY! Thank you!!
Thank you!! Will definitely be trying these for work and the gym this coming week!
Yay thanks for the comment!!!
Cute! Love it. Will definitely try. Thank you! Braids are so great. They prevent frizz and/or tangles in my long hair and now I can do them better thanks to this video.
Thank you!! Agreed!
Yup, I'm adding this to my hair portfolio. ❤
YAY!
You just demonstrate the most easier way to make a ponytail braid, which I’ve been searching for days! Thanks for sharing!
Yay you’re welcome!!
Wow how cool! I have fine oily hair and my braids always slide out. I bet this one will hold much better! The second in particular looked really secure. Thanks for sharing ❤
You're welcome!!
Oooo I need to try these.
I love them all! Thank you!
Thanks for watching 😊
Honestly, I really like the droopy braid cause it adds some texture and sometimes loose hair gives like a relaxing vibe but, I do like the ones you showed because if you want a more clean looking braid those are better then a droopy braids!! But, thank you for the time you put into this video!!! I love your videos so much there very helpful thank you 💗😊🤍
Agreed! I like the droopy braid too, especially with some curled front pieces... CUTE! But definitely a time and place for both hairstyles! Thank you for watching. I appreciate you!
💗😊
Such lovely, simple and elegant methods of securing braids. The finished braids look beautiful and so well made. Thank you!
Yay! Thank you!!
Super useful hair hacks
tysm!!!
Awesome!! I am going to try this, thanks Lainey!
Yay!! Thank you 😊
I really like this. I have long 2A hair like yours and my braid always looks like the "before" one so I'm going to try your method! Thank you!! ❤
Yay!! I hope it helps! Thanks for watching!

Woohoo!! You’re so welcome 😊
This is absolute genius, thanks

These are lovely BTW!
Whoa so simple even I can do this!! Beautiful!!!
Yay!! Thank you 😊
Thank your so much for this, I have very long hair that doesn´t want to stay in place and I work at the ER with lots of nasty fluids everywhere which I don't want in my hair so this will be so helpful!
Yay thanks for the comment!!!
These are terrific ideas. ❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Going to try one of these for the gym today!
Hope it worked!!
Another great video. Thankyou. They both look great but for me will also have the added benefit of keeping the weight of hair off my neck making it cooler in the hot weather. Hi from Australia!
I’m jealous of your hot weather! It was freezing today!!! Thank you for watching ❤❤❤
Like them both. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR VIDEOS , I WATCH THEM ALL.
Yay!!! Thanks for being here 😊
All 3, including the floppy beginner one ❤

Yay thanks for the comment!!!

Yay you're welcome!!
Great tip. Thank you
Thank you 😊
This actually works with my undercut! Thrilled, thank you. Finding slightly different styles to pull back long hair when 3/4ths of my head is shaved is tricky
Yay thanks for the comment!!!
This is PERFECT! Cant wait to try. My hubby likes it when I braid my hair :)
Love that! My husband is the same way!
This is genius thank you ❤
You’re welcome!❤
Love these!❤ my fav is first.
Thank you so much!!!
I've never had a female role model to teach me anything so these videos are incredibly useful. I'm 30 and I've just started to learn how to do a basic pony tail. Thank you for your content!
Both are pretty ❤
Thank you so much!!
I've always had a problem with the simplest braid coming apart immediately on my hair 🤷🏼♀️ I'll try this way tomorrow 👍🏼👍🏼
I hope it helps!!💗
That was fantastic and easily understood thank u 😊
Yay! Thanks for watching!
I love both these braids and appreciate your more detailed video, thankyou. Im not surprised this went viral, I havent got the patience to faff about with my hair for too long, for me 5 mins, 10 mins max is most of the time I want to spend on my hair. Most of the time I end up giving up on new hair styles because there are just too many hand and shoulder gymnastics going on, and that, and the tangles and fails in getting the parting tidy looking just frustrate me. I end up giving in because I just havent got the time or energy.
I saw you posted the first braid up a few weeks ago here on youtube, I instantly went and tried it and loved it, but even though I watched it in slow mo, I didnt realise you had crossed it over before braiding, it still worked but it look even nice now. Im going to try the second one too, although from my experience, having extra long thick hair, pulling the hair through the loop can be tricky. To section long thick hair more easily, heres a trick that helped me. If you are finding it difficult to separate the the sections and ponytail the middle part without tangles, I first put my middle section up in a french barrette with no teeth ( its a common hair clip you probably already have, just google it ). It helped me pre section before doing the middle ponytail, I then just unclipped it and slipped it out gently when I was done platting. It also looks nice left in, thats how I used to do my long floppy braid hair style....before I recieved this new one! Thanks again, and well done on this simple elegant braid, lovely.
Yay! Great tip to share! Thank you. And thankyou for watching and commenting! Truly appreciate you!
Thank you! ❤
You're welcome!
Both are great 😍
Tysm 😊
I liked the reg. braid
