Thank you for sharing your stories and spot on Paul McCartney impression with us!
There has to be a driving force behind a phenomenon like the Beatles were, this and musicality and creative talent were the essential elements of their success
Ringo Starr talk about Paul McCartney he loved to work and Ringo thanks Paul for being the guy who made all of them songs and albums in eight years

Its funny how (for me, age 30) The Beatles played simultaneously centuries ago and "just yesterday" :D
Truly timeless music, especially while under the influence. There is nothing like Revolver on acid!
James Paul McCartney didn't even make it to 64.
Paul wasn’t the only Beatle like he thinks he is.
@@NaaHvayou re crazy, in a bad sense
Now at 80 + Sir Paul still has a strong and energetic work ethic.
Paul is a natural creative performer,it’s a part of him,he said at the very beginning to Brian Epstein, if we (the Beatles) don’t take off,I want to stay in the industry!
Saw Paul just a couple of years ago in Indio Desert trip
Absolutely. Most folks at his age would have retired altogether, or at least quit touring.

So do I! You get to learn some Beatle history in the process. 😃😊
Now it all comes out 😎 Thanks Ringo for setting things straight !!! 🤓
Big time. It’s great to hear it directly from Ringo rather than some researcher recounting it or even reading a direct quote. Sir Paul could be bossy and a control freak (you can hear him talking during the Anthology recordings), but Ringo recognizes what a contribution it was.
Such an amazing man. We're so lucky to have Ringo. And of course the rest. Really lucky.
Ain’t that the truth! The other Beatles knew they were lucky to have him.
Ringo is the only Beatle.

he’s probably heard his voice more than anyone else alive lol
Better than William's own impression.
@@NaaHva ridiculous. John was right in saying you conspiracy theorists were freaks.
@GoobyShears He was forced to play along with a lie.
John and Ringo lived near each other and were always hanging around at John's making comedy tapes with a mellotron. Songs like Stranger in my arms,Pedro the Fisherman and Down in Havana. Paul was and still is a workaholic who's motto is do it now and thank god he is.
My dads mate used to drink in the pub around the corner from John Lennons gaff, every friday he would end up knocking Lennon out with 1 punch, ( so he used to tell me lol )
That's all well and good, but I'd love to hear those tapes that John and Ringo made! Let's start with, 'Pedro the fisherman'! I know that they were huge Peter Sellers' fans. I bet they're a riot! 😅👍

Love it. Ringo’s the man. Thank you, Ringo, for taking those calls!!
What a band.
The four of them worked hard, almost non-stop from 1960-66. Incredible work ethic, all of them. After '66 it was understandable the other 3 wanted to take it easy. But thanks to Paul they produced more great product and hugely increased their wealth to much higher levels.
Don't you mean: 1960-August 16th 1962: John, Paul, George, and Pete were together as a band. But the name chain is not good and Pete was hogging all the spotlight. 😝
August 18th 1962-1970: We have our real Fab Four; John, Paul, George, and Ringo. The name chain is extremely amazing and marvelous, say their names in this order to where people know what you're talking about. 😄
I'm 65 and literally grew up with the Beatles and am grateful for that!

We’re grateful you’re still putting out music. You and Paul still going strong. Peace and love!
I had the opportunity back in the day to meet the Beatles and spent time with each of them individually. By far, the one Beatle that fans would like best and was the most genuine is Ringo.
He's always come off that way. Totally unpretentious. Just a lovable guy.
John hatte schon als junger Mann viele Narben auf seiner Seele❤
Common😊 , everyone has his or her goodness.
An incredible creativity from this band ! Paul has surely been the most working guy of them four. I couldn't imagine a life without the Beatles. They always brought me so much pleasure when I was in pain. They surround my life from 1977 and I still discover many good stuff through their music ❤
How could it have only been eight years... that's pretty amazing...
He was with them eight years. Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison for 10.
Yes, when you realize just how many songs they wrote and published in those 8 years . How many are still as relevant as any song today
Gosh, I have been listening to them since 1974..... I still listen . That's #1 in my book. People don't make music like this anymore... ❤
👍 they recorded over 200 songs and Michael Jackson bought the rights to their music even paul said that it was very expensive and he could not buy it back etc..
Ringo Star is a wize person. Every time I hear what he has to say or asked I always get something to go by..RocknRollflat5
Yes eight years of game changing magic. I am biased but the output all of the great songs in such short time will be hard ever to equal.
You can tell this is true when you watch the Peter Jackson doc, Paul was the driving force
paul truly loved music so many artist his age would’ve retired but this is truly his life
The coolest thing is Ringo's humility and love for Paul and giving him kudos
Very honest. It’s too bad in our youth we don’t always have the wherewithal to appreciate the other.

Largely due to his giving up 'fine wine' and other spirits back in the '80s. 👍

Ringo has said on a number of occasions it was always Paul who got them back into the studio.
Paul was the leader after all.
Sure seems that way looking back. Paul explicitly told Lennon he's the leader though.
John was the founder and the leader, but he lost interest after meeting Yoko.
John and Paul were co-leaders until Brian died. John just didn’t care much anymore so Paul felt he had to step into the daddy/teacher role. It’s very difficult being a strong-willed young man trying to round up three other strong-willed young men. Paul was doomed to fail but at least he tried and we got four more albums before it all went to Hell.
Yoko did “help” John escape both the romantic and creative ruts he thought he was in, but it’s clear he had several phases in the 70’s where he missed being a Beatle and missed Paul being his creative partner.
Paul getting credit for being the driving force!
💯👏👏👏👏👏💯
I was 13 and feel I was at the right age at the right time when the Beatles hit the US in 1964. What a wonderful time it was. So sad it only lasted 8 years. But 60 years later I still enjoy their music.
Ringo was the humblest and strongest of the Beatles. Even after breaking up, Even when they individually, put out a single or album it sounded like a Beatles piece. Ringos voice was a Beatles voice. They could have stayed together and changed what happened to John until George in 2001
In 1963 who would’ve thought Ringer would’ve been the cutest beetle of them all in 2024😅
All Beatles fans need to hear this. If anyone knows what (who) drove the greatest band in rock and roll history, it’s Ringo. Thanks you, Ringo ✌️❤

Ringo is great. They all had a great sense of humor.
There is always a leader
and it upset John, the "founder"..and I think oldest
@@markfrost2707 Ringo is older than John by three months.
Billy Preston and even Paul himself said John was the boss. It was a weird dynamic.
@@classicguitarfan8He was the oldest thats what Paul meant because without Paul no sgt Pepper!
@@markfrost2707John was the founder of the Quarrymen which was a very different band. There was no single founder or leader of the Beatles. John said himself that everything changed and started moving forward once he met Paul
Paul really was the man who kept the group making great music.
Isn't that what Ringo JUST SAID? 😂
Truer words have never been spoken
Yes I had total “Beatlemania” ❤️❤️❤️☮️
I was born in 1961 and I've never lived without 'total Bearlemania'!
Ringo's impression of Paul was perfect!
Paul was never my favorite Beatle, that would be John, but I've always known that it was Paul that Initiated The Beatles going into the studio and recording, especially after Revolver, and it is some of the best music they put out, Thanks Paul.
The only way a band gets to be as big as the Beatles became was because they were driven, (of course they were brilliant songwriters and musicians and singers) but that they put out so much music in such a short period is down to hard work
Paul was no doubt the back bone of Beatles .
I couldn't put my finger on it about Paul, but Ringo said it right there. 2 or 3 albums if weren't for Paul's drive. Actually i think since they broke up that he's the one who propelled them into legends in the 21st century. With the Beatles material of course.
Absolute nonsense! The Beatles would not have done 2-3 albums if not for Paul, as John's drive to succeed and George's was as great as Paul's in those early years. All the Beatles had a strong work ethic. Look at who was the more prolific in songwriting up until Revolver -it was not Paul it was John and to say he would not have recorded those songs without Paul making a phone call is not backed by the evidence (e.g. Ballard of John and Yoko; Cold Turkey).
I think they just would have not done Abbey Road. On all of the other albums all of them were still on board of doing albums.
@@infiniteeic They were all on-board for Abbey Road. The Esher sessions demonstrates that -as does John making Yoko wait outside the studio while he did The End with Paul and George (this had not happened for over a year).
Paul kept it going
That’s why Paul was the backbone of the Beatles. I’m sure John was the heart but Paul was the brains and the backbone of the band.
Paul was the undoubted outstanding talent in a band full of talent. The ultimate driving force. There's one in every successful band.
Just love Ringo

Eight years of magnificent music! There will never ever be a band as talented, musician, wise, lyric, wise, and composing as the Beatles. And for that matter, same goes for the Rolling Stones. These individual musicians of both bands are really just exceptional and we are so fortunate to have lived in the era, that had these two magnificent bands! It just doesn’t get any better.
