    Minimi is not cumbersome(free move) so for me thats the main selling point vs HK21. And since I always go for free move perks then the choice was easy between those two. But HK21 deals more damage so I think its a fair trade off.

      I love and use both guns, but another thing that makes the Minimi awesome is that the wider attack cone, combined with a reflex sight and a long barrel, basically covers the entire map. When you add the free move mobility, you can have LMG fire all day long. The HK21 with a recoil booster simply shreds absolutely everything (if you have the ammo). In general, if you have the ammo to make good use of them, I have found the LMGs to be game-breakingly good. But I love it. :D (Also, if you give Fauda an HK21, you get free moves and a 10x10 burst for 3 AP. This gives you up to - five - ten round bursts per overwatch, which absolutely devastates all enemy squads... and your ammo reserves.)

      WHAT. That makes the Minimi absolutely busted. Mobile machine guns are the *true* way to be COMMANDO COMMANDO!

    The Minimi is not cumbersome, so you still get freemove. So with the HK21 you could use heavy armor and make a stationary machinegunner. And the Minimi paired with medium or even light armor makes a great mobile mobile gunner, with high enough accuracy you dont even need to set it up, just do a kind of run and gun style.

      Also mention the Death Squad armor you get from the shaman in the refuge camp. It is heavy armor in protection, but is not cumbersome. Means you get heavy protection and your free move.

      It is a great weapon for a secondary slot, you can go smg for close range and minimi for long range

    MP5 is probably the best SMG for marking targets with red dot.
    Low AP, Great aiming and range, you also get it early on too.

    Compensator buff only works when you attack a stationary target multiple times. If the target moves, you lose the buff. And it doesn’t count subsequent bullets as subsequent attacks. So, it’s no good for full auto or burst attacks unless you’re doing multiple attacks.

      Yeah, it is strange for him to say that compensators are good for running and gunning, I need to test it, normally, when I use it close, all my % are the same, if the increase after the frist one, it will be because of the compensator.

      @@Falcon0BR you need to shoot a low ap shot (the shot doesn’t have to hit) and then run & gun to apply buff to run & gun.

    I wonder if they change the RPK-74 and AK-SU damage if they eventually properly add 5.45mmm.

      They already said somewhere, that they won't be doing this, but one of their tutorials will include how to add new weapons and ammo types to the game.

    I really like using the UZI on Barry, while using a shotgun as primary weapon. Adds a lot of versatility.

      The UZI is great as an overall weapon. Since it's small you can carry 3 types of nades on your grenadier and still have decent damage if you must shoot. Ambidextrous mercs can tear people up with them in both hands

      I gave him a long-barrel Anaconda so he has a long-range option besides the shotgun.
      Later on he just rocked an AR with an underslung 40mm.

    I built a merc with free prone and double interrupt fire perks, using a minimi with reflex sight. You get free move and setup, or move and shoot depending what you need. Best weapon in the game imho, but ammo supply needs careful management 😅

      I really underestimated that thing massively. Heard so many crazy strats and builds around it after this video, I kinda feel ashamed I did that gun so dirty in this vid ^^

    Mp40 stands out for being the only smg to be able to carry 60 rounds. So load it up with shock rounds and they end up suppressed and exposed

    The mp5k will always be more useful them the mp5, you forgot to mention that the mp5 doens't have a grip, and the mp5k also have a uv dot, so scrap all your mp5, use only mp5k, it is far superior. Also this video should mention that the machineguns were nerfed on 1.03, you need to reserve AP to interrupt fire on enemy turn.

      I am a sucker for range and that's where the MP5K will always be weaker at.

      ​@Ic0nGaming i would argue that range jd not what you use an SMG for. It will never be as good as an AR or rifle for those purposes. Unless you have a very small merc team so one merc needs to do more things, it's best to specialize imo.

    I dont get it, run and gun always misses every shot, and these smgs make little damage, what am i missing?

      If you're in point blank range they can tear people up - it's also just a way to try to get damage on the enemy while moving. If the enemy is close and you can move normally or use run and gun you might as well run & gun to whittle then down a bit. Makes for a great finisher if someone's almost dead since you spray so many bullets.

      Setup a choke point where legion assault squads have to pass through and keep killing the gunners that accompany them. Each mg42 captured gets you 100 rounds of 7.62 NATO assuming you kill them quickly

      Both Fleatown Market and Poacher's Camp have 7.62x39 ammo for sale, refresh every few days. 7.62x51 is more common as those enemy machinegunners with MG42 drops them with 200 rounds in them.

      The Dump. Once cleared (in correct way...side with Nobles), can harvest junk there for parts/gunpowder and then craft ammo (same sector is also repair-shop location). Great full-time job for Larry who's not very good in most stats but has high Explosives.

    This game is just missing a godlike SMG like the P90 they should of put in more of the high tier gimmick weapons from past games like the ridiculously OP G11.

      I even got a timestamp on it. I didn't cover it too much, cause it's not moddable and a very baseline model, just like the Gewehr 98.
