  • This is honestly one of the best fishing days I've ever had on Lake Erie with a camera on board. The walleye were biting Rapala Husky Jerks like there was no tomorrow. It was complete chaos for the entire time we were out there!
    This is only part 1 of our day. Part 2 • Part 2 The Best Fishin...
    Capt. Ross Robertson has made his complete living chasing walleye as a full time professional angler for more than 20 years. Through the years he has worn many hats including time as a fishing guide, boat salesman, TV host, outdoor writer, product designer, tournament fisherman, speaker, radio host and podcaster to name a few.
    Ross fishes ice-out to ice-up on the Great Lakes. He spends the majority of the year walleye fishing on Lake Erie’s Western and Central basins.

    Love it !! Had a day this past fall that we couldn’t get boards set cause of fish getting in the way 😂 so much fun

    Ice fishing was like that and then some. Many many days of limits with smallest fish being 28 plus. So many 30 to 31s. I miss the ice fishing before it became so popular.

    Those were some juicy egg wagons, nice to see them get released for future angling opportunities

    so what you are saying is, when reseting a board, put the clicker on and let it go, dont lock it in, outside board let it click til its bit or you notice its far enough. ?? or no?

    • @Bigwaterfishing
      @Bigwaterfishing  5 місяців тому

      Just leave clicker on when not reeling.....I leave it on all the time for dipsy and wire line

      @FishingNorthernOntarioCanada 5 місяців тому +1

      Clicker lets it out slower provides tension so it Dives and will be fishing the whole time it’s dropping back! And could get bit . I think lol 😂😂 Ross definitely knows why!
