The thing that amazes me the most with the Asuga isn't its speed, control, or durability. Yes, they are all impressive, but it's the price point that's truly amazing. You get so much quality for the price. Corally have been just a step behind the pack when it comes to bashing, but with this I think they are starting to lead the way. Great video mate, awesome sends.
How good was this , just looking at what i can get rid of. I need this bad. Its so tough , cant believe the hits it takes. I thought something would have to break but the things bulletproof. Great work again Vas. Youre a legend.
Waz up bro; finally pull the trigger on this bad buggy.always wanted a big size buggy and here we are 😅 I noticed from your bash & other with stock electronics backflips aren't easy at all ..curious? keep em coming! Plenty of us out there who take your word for it👍🏻
Seeing all the videos on the Asuga, seeing the way it handles and it’s durability, I’m really impressed. Well done Team Corally. I don’t have a larger basher, but it’ll be a tough choice between this and the Sledge.
For anyone wanting a tough basher that will take almost anything and handles so well and dosent really need any upgrades out of the box. Buy a Tekno Mt410 kit I have owned mine for 4 yrs now and never broke anything. I bent an axle one time but it was my fault super bad landing but was able to bend it back and keep on bashing. This buggy in the video Flys so well
Can't say I agree with you on that one... I had one a while back and just didn't enjoy it as much as I was told I would. I find the ARRMA cars to be more durable and handle better, to be honest. But each to their own - if you like yours then that's all that matters. 🙂👍 Have fun and happy bashing.
Im waiting for mine to come in the post today as we speak ! Lookokh forward to trying it out. Your reaction sold me ! I've also got some new badlands all terrains waiting to go on it
Wow! When the Asuga first came out I thought, "what would I want one of them for, when I can have a Talion".... Now I NEED an Asuga 😎 👍 Great vid and great driving, shows off it's potential really well 😁
Hi, can I please get your opinion on these buggies that I have in mind, the Asuga XLR, Radix 6S, Arrma Typhoon 6S and HPI Vorza Flux 6S in terms of speed and power? Also if I just wanted to use it as a racer just at my local park going around cones and no bashing which one be best in your opinion?
It's a cool buggy for sure! I still doubt this is something I will ever own, but nice to watch on videos, ha ha! You certainly gave it a proper testing, that was some nice air time!
I do like mine a lot, but gotta say the front shock tower bents quite easily the moment it (or the shocks) take a direct hit from the front. Already straightened it twice now, will get the 7075 T6 Swiss made I think. The back end is protected by the wing, but the front tower is a bit of a weak spot. Otherwise great truck, I even put some Truggy track tires (140mm) on it and went to my race track, of course it cannot compete with a competition buggy or truggy, but it handles well and flies perfectly. With some tweaks (diff oils and softer springs to lower it) you could turn it into a decent race car.
The front exposed shock tower is not an issue exclusive to this car, I've bent many front towers before on a variety of buggies and truggies if you hit them just right. The trick is to avoid those crashes. 😉 Sure, you can upgrade the shock tower so it doesn't bend, but that will transfer forces to diff cases which can't be bent back and are harder to access. So far, haven't had any issues with mine, but I'm sure as time goes on, it will eventually take a hit that's going to cause some damage.
@@AussieRCPlayground I fully agree, but it didn't take any major hit, it happened on the race track, usually low key jumps of a few meters. This kind of abuse it should take. I hat the Kronos XTR and it took a lot more abuse without bending or breaking anything there. Anyway, it's a damn good car!
I miss you having multiple RC brands racing or a pair of each brand so we can see which is faster. Bring those kind of videos back. I remember the first video i saw on this channel that brought me to it was when you raced a bushmaster vs a typhon. These tests runs are okay but would love to see this go up against one of Aarma's best.
A real tough nut , with flight balance. What a combination, without doubt a winner . My piggy bank is shaking in the corner!. Great video Vas . Thanks for making this .
I don't particularly agree with the arms breaking as I haven't had any issues with mine, but have broken a few of the front chassis braces due to their weak design. That said, this new one is designed quite differently and as shown in this video and in the 4S video I did, renders your comments about the plastics null and void. 😎
Hello vas I have a question for you.i have the punisher and everytime I drive it on 6s it overheats just after about a good 5 minutes.have you had that problem.and what should I do to stop it from overheating.and thank you for all the great content keep bringing them.much is very appreciated.
Hi buddy very nice video on 6s as I said last time I love my Kronos but the asuga puts the biggest smile on your face in performance and handling I've seen from corally if Play 6s you will never go to back to 4s as always buddy your videos are awesome can't wait for the next one cheers
Thank you very much, David. Yeah, there's something special about the ASUGA and I have to admit it wasn't until I drove it that I noticed it. I don't know what it is, but I also couldn't stop smiling when driving this car. 😁
Yes I myself think the car is perfectly balanced and the wheel and tyres are perfect for the asuga no pizza cutters enough spin and grip and it doesn't wheel stand and when you nail it or half throttle to full throttle it just takes off like a rocket 🚀 thanks for your response buddy
Hi, may I ask please, what’s the faster better RC car out of the Team Corally Asuga XLR 6s or the HPI Truggy Flux S 6S? I won’t being jumping at all just want to use at local park which has netball courts and grass. Any recommendations I would be very grateful. Thank you for sharing a great video 😊👍
I love both of those cars, they both performed very well during testing, so I don't think you can go wrong with either. However, for an out of the box setup for bashing, the Asuga is probably a bit better. However, one thing I do like about the HPI Vorza is that it's quite lightweight by comparison, so it feels very nimble. Again, they're both good, so take into consideration price & parts support as well when making your choice. Good luck and happy bashing. 😎👍
7:48 how the hell did it survive that impact and keep on going like nothing happened? It left a crater in the ground! This thing is a monster of a basher
I broke mine today 🤦♂️. 100% my fault, worst landing ive had in a while. It done £15 worth of damage. The car is a beast and the parts are cheap to replace!
Morning from Boston vlad. The asuga is on my radar. Only true 8th scale buggy out there. But every time I see it I picture skeeter wheels with a tailon body.
I’d imagine you’ve had some time with this buggy. What are your honest opinions on it? From everything I’ve seen it looks amazing. Looks fast and well balanced. Thinking this may be by next purchase.
As good as this looks i'm hoping they bring out a Truggy version this year with all the new bracing and stuff on it. I like buggies but i like multiple backflips more 😆 I didn't get on well with my Kronos XTR but this looks like it's going in the right direction.
Thanks. 🙂 This buggy sets a new standard for bashers, IMO, so if they implement some of the improvements here into their other cars, we will have a whole fleet of options to suit all tastes and driving styles. Let's see what they do next...
Scott B Why didn't you get on well with the Kronos XTR? That's the Team Corally vehicle I'm most interested in purchasing, so I'd love to hear why you didn't like it or what deficiencies you felt it had.
@@FlailinMonkey I bought it pre HD steering blocks and they popped out/broke first run out and the middle carbon chassis brace, then everytime I took it out after repairing it, 1 or more shock(s) ALWAYS blew out even after replacing for a full new set they would always blow out. I think I only got to LVC twice in 6 months taking out maybe twice a week. I never sent it either, probably 6 to 8 foot jumps and 90% landing properly. It broke more times landing nicely than it did landing badly. If I were to get another TC from the current lineup I'd probably get a Jambo (looks more durable with the shorter wheelbase) or truggify the Asuga. I think my next cars going to be a Hobao Hyper ST Pro unless TC bring a truggy out in the next few months
@@smart3k this is sad to hear. I've not had any issues with my XTR car, and I have both 2021 and 2022 versions. Only durability issues I've had have been with the stock V1 cars where the front chassis brace would break after a few jumps and the top plate over the steering assembly would fail thereafter. I think I had an issue with broken shock pistons on a couple of cars as well, but that was fixed with the new pistons TC released and no issues since. But the XRT, especially the 2022 version, has been one of their best and one of the most durable cars I've owned over the years. So it's really sad to hear to had such trouble with yours... But I can tell you the ASUGA is a different beast and a lot has changed compared to the platform you know. 😉
@@smart3k Thank You for the reply. I know TC fixed the steering blocks, do you know if they updated the chassis brace/shocks on the 2022 models or is there a third party chassis brace that might be better? I had a Ofna buggy and truggy back when I was into nitro probably 18 years ago, they were almost indestructible. Hobao products still look like they're built like tanks but I haven't owned any. I'm all electric now days, I want nothing to do with nitro anymore.
