It's a good montage of what is happening. But it's preaching to the converted.
It assumes you understand the link between the fossil fuels (oil/petrol/gasoline) being burnt to drive cars, and the climate crisis. If you don't understand that, it makes no sense and just seems shocking for the sake of it. There needs to be more explanation.
"Drill, baby, drill!" was a 2008 Republican campaign slogan, and “We're going to drill, baby, drill right away” Trump wows addressing his supporters in Des Moines less than a month ago, mid January 2024.
They even sell hats and hoodies with - note it's their description - "Drill Baby Drill Trump 2024 apparel with the funny saying Drill, Baby, Drill women top and men apparel for Trump Supporters 2024".

Oil production in the US is now at an all time high, it seems. And still the Republicans hate Biden for being anti oil. You couldn't make this stuff up.

I am not anti EV at all, but how are the batteries charged? With what time of fuel? I believe it's fossel fuels. How are the batteries made? I got stranded in New York state in an EV rental because there were no charging stations :(..can't drive very far without needing a charge :( The message I got from the ad is, we need mass transportation, high speed trains, free subways, a much improved and modernized rail system that brings people to their destinations. That is the message I got from the ad.
I got the message of climate change through the footage of wildfires (drought) and flooding, but what you got also makes sense now that I look back at the video and see the congestion as well. I'm not sure what the mention of moving out to the suburbs was supposed to convey in that context ... perhaps how much traffic has spread out from city cores. The complication I see re: mass transit is that it would benefit the majority of people but not the majority of cities or the majority of land. In rural areas, like where I live in northern Minnesota, we don't have traffic jams, but we do drive our vehicles to the bigger cities. But hey, I wouldn't mind dropping my car off in the outskirts of a big city and taking Lyft or train or subway around the city. And I suppose when you mentioned rail system, you were talking about transporting people through the miles and miles of countryside. That used to be a lot more affordable.
