I've watched Masterchef Austrailia and Masterchef Canada. For all their fancy intros, Big Brother style diary room interviews and bells and whistles the UK original is still the best. It's about the food first and foremost. END OF.
Every time another country copies an English program, it is never as good, and I agree with you so much that UK MasterChef is far Superior 😁

Masterchef uk did try a us style. With john torode swearing at the pass. Gordon ramsay was brought has he had a limited deal with the bbc for his food truck program.
In the past I am sure that John torode did a Gordon ramsay by swearing at his staff. But it didn't sit right with the viewers for celebrity masterchef and ramsay did not seem to know who they were. You wondered why the brought him in. Ratings for that year were for celebrity masterchef were dire

Master chef Uk is funny to watch but not skillful and the options in food knowledge is limited. American and Australia open more options culinary wise. Thailand master chef judges is scary but the contestants is like they are in the wrong program and should enter higher caliber capability cooking show. Imagine Japanese master chef though, they will definitely go down in history for the fact that the contestants will over take their judges perfectionist professionalism.❤😂😊
America and Australia clearly have more options from a produce angle. They're entire continents in different hemispheres compared to a tiny bloody island 😂😂😂😂 such a silly comment really.
You can laugh at us for what you deem as "not skillful" etc. yet at least MCUK focuses on ACTUAL cooking.
Rather than making it a salacious, mawkishly agonising show filled with complete idiots like the Americans, Australians and Canadians do (from all that I've seen).

First time I have watched UK Masterchef in a while. Nice to see that they have taken on the similar style to our Australian version. Love Greg and John however in Australian Masterchef there are more than two judges. Good luck to all the contestants. I will continue to watch.

I’m an Aussie and have watched the UK version for years. Ours is as usual, a copy of the original, the one I consider to be the best.
