For the love of god, don’t cancel this project because of something stupid like the footage getting leaked or something because this game looks downright amazing. Super Mario 63 is my favourite flash game of all time and I’m extremely excited about a sequel coming out.

For the case of the Netflix Zelda, that was an official product by Nintendo. It was them who pulled the plug on it after details were leaked. This, however, is a fan game, so it's not bound by the same restrictions Nintendo applies. The worst case is that Nintendo sends forth a C&D notice.

I used to play Mario 63 for hours on end nearly a decade ago, and to this day I have a tradition of playing it yearly. This was the game that inspired me to go into game design and start making my own titles. Honestly, it’s probably my favorite game ever. As much as I love games like Minecraft, Mario, Pokémon, etc, Mario 63 always had this charm that kept it in my top five. Things like shortcuts, Easter eggs, and secrets in this game amazed me as a kid, and I’ve always wanted to make a game in similar fashion. It even inspired me to make my own UA-cam channel five years ago, where I made videos revolving around this game (sadly that youtube channel is gone, but it was fun while it lasted). Thanks for making such an incredible game, I can’t express how much it inspired me

Considering Nintendo hasn’t taken down 63 and that game is more of a 2d version of 64, I’d say it’s safe to say that this game is safe from the Nintendo ninjas.

Wow, I hope this is still going. 63 was a surprisingly meaty fan game that had some fun levels and some great challenges. Was engaging enough to 100% it. The level editor was also pretty darn impressive.

i would be lying if i said this trailer didnt make me cry a bit.... seriously tho i remember playing Super Mario 63 on the old school Pcs that had old 4:3 crt monitors specifically the early Macintosh transparent ones with varying colours god seeing this gave me so many happy memories

We'll post to other places than discord in the near future, but for the time being i wouldn't recommend it. Due to all the levels being found in the discord server, you're not going to have as good of an experience if you play the game without custom levels.
the game's REALLY cool and nostalgic but why does the download have to be on discord? Cant you just make you download it from something like gamejolt? i mean im sure the game's gameplay level creator and most things are great but i dont have and im too lazy to make a discord account.
