Agreed, I know they’re not in wec/Le Mans, but the Lamborghini and Audi gt3 also sound amazing

@@ryancusimano5892 Mr Cusimano, it´s the last year, that we can enjoy these cars (RSR´s) . The WEC 2023 regulamentations, are changing deeply with the new HyperCars arrival. I think the actuals LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am classes would became simple GT3 due finantial issues. New cars arrive Peugeot in Monza next month, later Porsche, Ferrari,Cadilac and Lamborghini that would be great races. Thank you.

Well...never thought id be saying this but the Le Mans 24hr race sounds like a One make series with the exception of Porsches

I can't agree more with you ... I'm really starting to lose interest to go to the race on that aspect... and the 25+ LMP2 cars are not helping the diversity of the grid...
@@LeMansVidz I think it's going to get worse and worse, or maybe the next hypercars will have engines worthy of the name.
I'm not that optimistic on the hypercars ... lets see what we have
Porsche, BMW announced a TT V8, and I assume Ferrari will take a TT V8 also (my gosh I would give everything for a V12...). For Peugeot it's a TT V6 (almost sounding the same as the Toyota) and I assume Acura will take the TT V6 they have in the DPi now. The one that could be a good suprise would be Cadillac if they take the 5.5L V8 from the DPi coupled with an hybrid system. I also forgot Lamborghini, I assume they'll take the same TT V8 as the Porsche since they are in the VAG Group. What do you think ? :)
@@LeMansVidz the original regs were designed with the V10 lambo size in mind ... hopefully that is the engine choice

Thank you mate ! Yeah, you definitely need to walk a lot if you want to see different spots ! And as the guys said in the comments the Porsches are way quieter now, you can barely hear them downshift, it's sad 😔 Hope you enjoy the race, is it your first time at le Mans ?
@@LeMansVidz Annual visitor since 2004 😊. And it's a long walk from Tertre Rouge to Karting. Painful feet when we roll into our tents at 01:00 AM. 😄 Still a great event. 🇫🇷
Ahh I see we have a connoisseur here :) I go every year since 2004 also ! It depends where you camp, but yeah I can definitely relate ! I like to be at the Tertre Rouge at night (1:00-2:00 AM) but when you camp at Beauséjour and there's no shuttle because it's to late.... the walk from Tertre Rouge to the Beauséjour camp is a killer ahaha
Amazing! Thanks for uploading! I thought we had Hypercars this year? These look like regular prototypes? I also heard about spec chassis or something terrible...
"Hypercars" just meant LMP1 with more freedom for the manufacturers to have them look closer to their brand design. And the other thing about the spec chasis is for the LMDh but the brands will have again the freedom to design the bodywork as they want. And there are 4 different chassis (oreca, ligier, multimatic and dallara).

Thank for your comment mate ! Yeah I definitely agree with you, they look like prototypes... For the rest of your comment, Nicolas Ramirez explained everything you need to know on that weird Hypercar / LMDH regulation
"hypercars" is just the name of the class Made up of prototype cars. Its a cost friendly version of lmp1 because everyone except toyota left lmp1H because of high costs (audi and porsche left LMP1H because they were spending like twice the amount of toyota, it was not sustainable for them).
The road car requirement went away since Aston martin withdrew to focus on F1 under new ownership. And they are prototypes since that kind of car is way faster than any road car shape/body construction. Thankfully, glickenhaus and Bykolles are still planning road going versions of their cars.

LMP2 cars seem to be faster than LMH at the Tertre Rouge... 6:20
Thanks a lot ;) Yep I can assure you they were definitely faster ... the hypercars are heavy and lazy in the corners. At the exit of the Ford chicane or the Dunlop corner, the LMP2s are always glued to the back of the Hypercars haha ! I don't know if you saw that also ?
@@LeMansVidz I went to Mulsanne and Tertre Rouge yesterday, I only noticed the difference on the Tertre Rouge exit...
LMP2 cars are lighter and do have more aero forces I think.

The 911s still sound nice but sadly isn't as loud as 2017, 2018 and 2019 24 hours of le mans but still a good GTE racecar
Yep since 2020 or 2021 (I cant remember) they put mufflers because of the noise regulations on different tracks of the world

The part of the World Endurance that saddens me is that all prototypes race with the same chassis and the same engine type, except Toyota, Glickenhaus and Peugeot (which will not participate in Le Mans), don't forget Audi and Porsche (both have disappeared from the championship long ago).
It wasn’t like that a few years ago, the Oreca has just proven to be superior hence every team wants to race it. In 2024 there will be updated LMP2s, the new era is only starting my friend

Yep, it is mandatory for each team competing in the 24 Hours of le Mans. :) I think you could compare it to the F1 Pre-Season testing in Barcelona.
Bonjour superbe journée cette vidéo j'espère que les niakoues et kamikaze de Toyota ne remporteront pas encore l'édition 2022 et que la concurrence fera tout son possible pour arrêter cette lassitude nippone depuis les retraits de Porsche et Audi vivement leurs retours ainsi que le reste pour avoir du spectacle et du suspense
