I had a Max Life Term plan earlier. Can I port to the new smart secure plan with new features ?
Unfortunately in Term Insurance porting isn't an option
There is another roundabout way you could get the new plan. You could surrender your existing plan and purchase the new variant but we wouldn't recommend that since you'd lose out on the lower premiums you locked in earlier.
Alternately you can purchase this one, over and above your existing plan, in case you're not sufficiently insured yet. Please connect with one of our advisors for better guidance on this.

I bought it paying monthly emi of 2809 which I am paying for 15 years to finish this insurance plan and my age which i bought is 23 age and premium is one crore and it will be double after 40 years

Sir is it mandatory to wear helmet for pillion rider to claim health insurance. Does health insurance reject claim if not?
It is advisable to do this because health insurance companies can reject your claim basis the fact that you were breaking the law. Its a different matter that some insurance companies still pay out claims. But there are legal grounds for them to deny a claim if you were breaking the law.

I have a question.. ! Let's say I buy the policy from Max when I'm residing in the city where Max is operational. What if after few years I shift to my native where Max is not operational. How about my claim or policy. Is it still valid ?
Hey! Great question- don't worry. Your geographical location will likely not affect your claim settlement process after the policy has been issued to you. However, it's a good practice to keep your insurer informed.

This only happens after the moratorium period of 3 years. Before 3 years there's usually a thorough investigation that can span a few months too.
In USA its very difficult to sell insurance policies and is very easy to get claims. In India, its just the opposite, its very easy to sell insurance policies and very difficult to get claims. In India, generally all the insurance companies have deceptive terms and conditions in their policies.

Bought this plan through ditto yesterday was advised by your advisor Nikhil Ramesh, really loved how honest ditto is. I was initially buying for 60 age(38 yrs from today for me) , but this Zero Cost feature required me to buy minimum for 40yrs, so I asked him whether it made sense to increase cover duration to 65 age, he said from extra safety for ur family for 5 more years it does make sense, but surrendering ur policy at 47 age when u may need it more doesn't make sense, really honest

That is true. Most companies do not extend riders and those that do, are often a lot more expensive. Maybe we will make a video explaining why this is the case soon.

For me there website designing and UI is easily understandable and open. While when I was logging to ditto it's first asking for booking call for various options..
