I once saw a mod that makes(forces) Dorian a romance partner for females. It litteraly reminded me of this scene. I guess people forgotten about this tidbit.
@@alexanderthegamingbear8941 I think it’s weird when people use any mods for the character relationships. Like if you want a relationship with that character, play as the gender they’re attracted to. It’s just weird to me 😑
@@hildahilda1823 eh, I say why not play as any gender to get certain relationships. I usually won't ever play a male character so I like that in DA2 you can have a relationship with any companion despite your gender. Also wish Bioware stuck with the plan to make ME2's Jack romancable for femsheps.
@@hildahilda1823 no. I am a woman who's attracted to men. I prefer to play a female character. Playing as a male character is weird to me. And since I have a crush on Dorian I have the right to use mods to make him straight to fit my character
I love it when developers add these sorts of events to the game that make the characters actually seem human. This one is probably my favourite by far, although I haven't done all the companion quests
Thanks for uploading this! I considered telling Dorian "don't leave it like this" but he was so upset my instinct to get him out of there overcame that pretty quickly, so I was very interested to see what would have happened. Not so much, apparently...
"Once I had son who trusted me, a trust I betrayed. I wanted to talk to him, hear his voice and ask him to forgive me." He regretted everything he did to his son and wanted to make things right. Nothing can be solved in one conversation but it's a start to the pathbof healing and a new bond between father and son.
I actually tried to walk away from this and Dorian stopped me to say he prefers the company of men. Every single line said here I just felt my soul getting crushed by the sheer weight of Dorian’s anger to his father. I was so stunned I needed that spelled out to me and the longer this went on the more soul crushing it became. This was… very hard to watch.

It's funny because I spent the whole game up to this point hitting on him with my female character, wondering why it wasn't working.

as a "gaymer" myself this event was far beyond my expectation. I'd never played a game which directly displays lgbt issues.
