I am very curious about the Dwarves in Tevinter as well as their history. Saw a DA 2 cut-scene involving corphy. He mentioned humans as dwarven slaves. Interesting.
+Stefan Langeveld Well, all we know at the moment is that dwarves have had a long and strong relationship with Tevinter - and dwarves of the Ambassadoria (who live in places in Tevinter which are considered to reside in the Stone, hence no loss of caste) are fairly common and very respected there - to such a point that there are no known dwarven slaves in Tevinter. But yes. Bring on Tevinter!
Isn't this before you become Inquisitor? Why does Dorian refer to you as if you've already been coronated, or whatever that process of becoming Inquisitor is called?
Tariq Muhammad It depends on how often you've talked to Dorian. If I remember correctly from my own playthroughs, if you're playing as a mage, he'll say this dialogue before the event at Haven if you talk to him enough, or after Haven when you become Inquisitor.
Dwarf messiah I could get used to that. My headcanon for for my playthrough was that since both the warden and the inquisitor was dwarves played some part in varric being named vicount since dwarf leaders had done very well on the surface lateley
Maybe they were born in the Qun but taken away from it when being very young? Well either that or they are child to a Tal Vashoth...to be fair they never go into much detail there
The worse thing about this is, Dorian's dialogue was written by the creator of Dragon Age David Gaider. If there's someone who can get the lore right you'd think it would be him.
I think that's actually intentional, to demonstrate that people in Thedas do not know nor care about the difference. There's actually codex entry in the game where a goat herder attempts to explain the same thing. He's frustrated that people keep calling him Tal-vashoth, because in his word he can't rebel against something he hasn't been ever part of. dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Codex_entry:_Vashoth:_The_Grey_Ones
6:41 .... Down with stereotypes.... stereo types. STEREO types. Does Tevinter have stereos? Or is it like the old french word for stéréotype. did Orlais have printing presses and the like?
“I’ve thought about splitting your skull open.”
“O h ? ?”
God I love Dorian
That 'yay' was so cute
I know, right?
Indeed!
Dorian admitting to thirsting after big muscular qunari makes his banter with Bull that much funnier
*grosser
@@vermithrx1744 *funnier
Erm... yay?
Indeed! Yay!
Oh Lord, these two just make me soooooo happyyyyy!
Dorian lewding the Qunari physique is everything lmao
Him and Sera def did some drunk bonding over it
Indeed! Yay!
the British VA on a qunari just sounds...wrong.
I know, so... Odd
In my opinion qunari and dwarf should get the deeper voice.
However I’ve seen some female dwarves who match the lighter voice
"Indeed! Yay!" :D

That yay is funny
A big drunken bird? Seems Dorian has already started checking out this big "bird" hope he watches out for the horns hahaha
Err...yay? :|
Indeed! Yay! :D
I love Dorian so much
All these origin discussions involving Inquisitors outside of the one I play are really interesting to see
2:14 where they at tho? 😂 it's like they become less and less a scare with each game... miss those assassin's
What assassins that try to kill you with a roadblock? I like Zevran but the Antivan crows seem to be like children in terms of tactics.
@@yammoto148 I think that was just Zevran -planning and lockpicking don't exactly seem to be his forte.
@@yammoto148 Zevran wanted to fail so he could die though.

The game can be a little inconsistent. Adaar is Vashoth, not Tal Vashoth
Yep. I hate all the times you're called Tal-Vashoth. Adaar isn't a Qun deserter or some bandit, they are a merc born and raised away from the Qun.

@@JD-Media Lets just say the Qun doesn't give a fuck if your an bandit or not, no Qun Tal-Vashoth whenever your a bad person or not.

Dorian is the best romance ever

Hearing the English accent on a qunari is kind of weird
I love Dorian. The one time I choose to not play as a man in Dragon Age and this is how it rewards me lmao
Dorian is without a doubt one of the best gaming characters ever made.
Ehhh...no.
