I agree! I saw a youtuber do a series on this game and i originally though it was a mainstream fnaf fan game, but when i figured out that it wasn't i was honestly shocked. Glad to see this game is getting the attention it deserves.
Im one of those fnaf fans that enjoys watching the gameplay because I'm actually just ass at the games myself but this game is an absolute gem in a heavily oversaturated genre. You can tell the creator actually cared about making the game both balanced and challenging. I wouldn't have been surprised in the slightest is Scott himself made it, it's just that good.
As someone who played a good amount of Chipper and Sons around 2015, I can say that this game totally nailed it at recreating the style, humor, and gameplay. You're right in that you sometimes forget this is a fan-made project rather than an official sequel. I honestly would kill to see what Scott thinks about this particular fan game, as it really does feel like the ultimate love letter to his work.
2:06 But it was indeed correct criticism, since it actually helped Scott play to his strengths and use that creepy visuals he unintentionally made into an actually fully fledged horror game. I understand it feels kinda unfair a game made by an indie dev gets destroyed for its visuals alone, but visuals are the second most important part of a game, and the most important part when trying to sell a game, since a bad looking game will almost certainly detract people from buying it, which is obviously bad if you wanna live off game development.
I 100% agree the criticism was a good thing in the end, but from a moral standpoint it just seems extremely rude to shit all over a small developers indie project specifically for it's visual style which is such a subjective aspect of games. I personally love how Chipper and Sons looks and think the art design in that game is great, so that's why I wanted to stand up for it in this video. People have talked about how the criticism was a good thing for years now, so I just wanted to quickly add a take in the video that is rarely brought up. Hope that makes sense.
Criticism. There is CONSTRUCTIVE criticism There is DESTRUCTIVE criticism You can share your perspective and opinion Everyone is entitled to their own opinion But one should not force their opinions on others or as law or fact As well one can share their opinion without attacking or being toxic and or negative I'll provide Examples for context -"your games visuals reminds me of animatronics which kind of scare me. I am not sure if this was your intent, but I'd like to raise awareness of it potentially being perceived this way and suggest if it really is a serious issue it be looked into, that maybe adjusting it so you can finalize a art style that you and everyone enjoy that portrays the game in the best ways. You can look on the internet for references or I can provide a reference or even draw how I feel it could look if that's ok with you" (respectfully sharing opinion, criticizing in a constructive way, suggesting but not demanding, even providing a solution. All positive, healthy, respectful, consenting, and good for growth.) -"your game is bad and your visuals are bad. Make it better." (Disrespectfully sharing opinion. Criticism is negative/toxic, does not add or contribute to anything or anyone but instead only attacks the person and demands by assertiveness without providing reasons why or how they can make it better.) There is good and there is bad There is a correct way and incorrect way We can only hope all 8 billion people can learn to grow better And choose to do what is correct and good So everything can be better for us all

that ending is insane. thank you for getting me interested in this amazing game. I love youtubers like you who just like to make people happy and make sure not to spoil an ending of a game you are reviewing even though it may be important to the review.
The game has the best pacing in any fnaf fangame, I could literally predict what animatronics were gonna be in the next night by using how conveniently building structures always seem to be the last task.
This game is living rent-free in my head thanks to you! The only FNaF fan-game I've ever played (save for FNaFB, which I feel like is kinda something else entirely) and I couldn't put it down. The polish is absolutely unbelievable, I can't recommend it enough.
Dormitabis also deserves an analysis like this, is such an amazing game and the lore in my opinion, is better than what the official franchise has become since Sister Location.
I think that the story somewhat derailed after FNAF 6. That was a good ending, it tied up the loose ends and gave a final answer to all of the characters. Then all of a sudden WILLIAM AFTON IN C Y B E R S P A C E BIPPITY BOB KAZOW
The game no longer deserves to be appreciated after the developer groomed a 14 year old. It's a shame really, the game really was damn good, but I can't look at it the same after knowing how depraved and disgusting the creator was. Happens way too much.

Seeing the thumbnail of this gave me so much joy because Tyke and Sons has always been my absolute favourite FNAF fan game. I know a lot of people dislike the grinding aspect, but I think that's one of the charms of it. It perfectly combines the best elements of Chippers and FNAF to create a really fulfilling experience that equally hilarious and terrifying. I REALLY hope more people give it a shot and talk about it more :)
i actually downloaded this being really happy someone actually made a chipper's fangame! i was really into the og at the time so i just kinda downloaded it and waited until i finished my first playthrough of chipper's before i started Tyke's. the first night took me for a loop, i was both shaking and quaking, i mean, of course it a fnaf fan game, it wouldn't have had as much of a pull of downloads otherwise, while i felt a little disapointed at this prospect, everything else was delightful, the contrasting moods both of the gameplay styles had really added to the experience, first you were growing and chopping trees, making sure you got the necessary amount of items you required, then you were all alone, in the house as the lumberbots are out to get you. i can safely say i was very very scared each time. and once i go back to the chipper's gameplay kept dreading the fact that eventually the day would end and I'd have to face another horror. it really enriched the experienced (even if i did download chippers to get away from all things scary, needed a stress reliever at the time), i've got to say, it took the original chipper's concept, and took it above and beyond. it fixed the pacing problem the og one had, and added mountains of new content to explore. gotta say, it has become one of the most memorable games i've play in recent memory, and i sure wouldn't mind revisiting it. heck I'd love to see it become part of the fanverse initiative, it'd be like a love letter to anyone who actually enjoyed chipper for what it was at the time, and a lot more people need to play this!!!! what a fulfilling experience :3 im so glad i discovered the fnaf gameplay bit by myself!
I’m glad this game is getting more recognition, I played it blind and it was so good, I really recommend it to people who play fnaf or like horror games hidden as challenging and fun games.
Watched like the first minute of your vid and said "I need to play this before I watch any more". Spent the last 6 hours playing through the whole game and a bit of the post game, and came back to finish the video. Absolutely my favorite fan game I've ever played. The tension whenever I knew the day was coming to a close and I was about to be thrust into some new threat in the house was very well done
My greatest respect to this game’s creator is the fact that they don’t display the highlight of their game on the title screen. Meaning it’s a gift given surprise to the deepest fans of Scott Cawthon. What a pleasant surprise for the thousand of them.
This is the best fangame that has ever been made. Ive sayed this since the game came, everything is fun the night part isn't too hard and it has soo mutch content amd captures the biomes and ambience perfectly with the music NPC's and models
Hi there! Great video as always! I totally agree on the fact that the first big fan games are getting all of the attention while newer ones get pretty much nothing, if only it happened only with fnaf, sadly this a very common issue.
Mixlas being the developer of Tyke and Sons and baby's nightmare circus definitely needs to get a certificate for having the most underrated games and seeing how good the developer will most likely make a 3rd game. I also really love how Tyke and Sons is related to fnaf 6 gameplay.
The smallest problem with this game is that some of the objectives you have to complete are really vague and might be difficult for people who are trying to complete the game without searching anything up. But thats literally the only problem i have and the game is absolutely amazing so i can't really complain.
Finally, I have been waiting for someone to bring this game more to the spotlight. It’s an incredibly unique fangame that is not using the same base formula of the FNaF games. Tyke and Sons is a masterpiece in my eyes.
This game is so good that I never thought that this game was that underrated because I thought that a game this quality would get much more fans knowing about it. I rate this game a 10/10 sitting on top of my top 5 favorite Fnaf fan game. It puts 3 of my favorite gameplay loops like farm loop, story loop, Fnaf loop and mini game loops.
One thing I'm happy this game did was pay tribute to Chipper and Sons, since without it, there possibly wouldn't be a FNAF series. So to see this game pay tribute to both Chipper and FNAF is a really nice touch.
This video was just amazing, I really hope to see more type of content like this. Also this channel is extremely under rated for the content that it gives, I got that type of feeling like when you finish a movie, you saw everything that you wanted to see but still want more. Much love dude, keep it up!
I liked this game a lot it felt different from the usual fnaf and just throws one of Scott's forgotten creations at your face with boss fights, nostalgic mechanics And also a tie in with chipper and Sons story every single time I'm reminded of this game I would re-watch some gameplay from UA-cam
Wasnt expecting this game to be brought up recently, but im glad your giving it more light! While tedious at times, its got charm, and lots of character!
The way Mixlas blends the Chipper and sons-esc sections with the more fnaf4-esc Sections is fairly emblematic of how the Tycoon section and the “Night phase” of Pizzeria sim are linked. I just thought that was neat, and that this game really makes an effort to keep in with that Scott Cawthon’s style with bushels of creative flair from Mixlas’ own cranium big brainium.
Bro FusionZgamer did play this game and still occasionally posts about it. So hes not lackin on sharing about this game! Some people just dont like the parts of innocence some ppl just watch these videos for the creepy fnaf parts of the game but i loved both sides of the game its just so huge so much content!
An insanely good FNAF fan game is FNAF simulator. It let's you play as already 4 characters (except for fnaf 3) with several different cool play styles and abilities in every FNAF from 1 to pizza sim, as well as an actual ai that plays as the guard, and adapts to how you play. There's even a persona 5 easter egg as well as several different music cassette you can find, which plays several different fan songs made by the community. It definitely needs to get added the the FNAF fanverse movement, because it's very uncanny and feels like it was made by Scott himself
I actually played this game a while ago and I loved almost every part of except waiting for the trees to grow. It was a fun ride to be honest Great game and I recomend it a lot! I would give it a 🌳/10 Aka 10/10
I think Golden Freddy cinema also deserves to be one of the best fan game developers. He made games like “killer in purple, 1 and 2”, back into the 80’s.” And of course “park of horrors.”
if i had to name another underrated fan game i’d mention dormitabis. its vibe and soul stand out to me, and the character designs are nothing short of charmingly bizarre. it’s still my personal favorite fnaf fan game
IMO, TJoC is the best fan game I’ve ever played. It’s incredibly scary and a lot of fun. It’s pretty rare to find fan games that are both just like TJoC.
When I watch this video, I decided to download this game, if I never watched this video, I would have never downloaded this game in the first place, props to you for giving some spotlight to an incredibly underrated FNAF fangame!
Honestly a gem in the absolute ocean of fangames lol. I don't know if you plan on discussing them, but I highly suggest checking out radiance's fan games, Treasure Island 2020 and Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese: Rebooted. They're extremely well made and overall great fan games.
With fnaf fan games I always check for new ones constantly but I always run into two problems. One most of the indie sites are filled with amazing games that haven't released yet or its filled with peoples first attempts at games or joke games which are fine but are not enough to play because of how many there are and how much time it would take to play through them all.
That’s how any development process works especially with modding. The only way to really put your stuff on the radar is make things better than others, give it its own unique twist.
As someone who loved chipper and sons, this looks AWESOME! Not usually a fan of fnaf gameplay, but I might do it just to experience the day segments, this game is so cool!
I think this stands out since it doesn't really feel like a Poppy Playtime fangame.

I actually played this game on a friend's suggestion, streamed it to my discord friend group, and sat down and played the whole thing in one sitting, I may be kinda bad at video games, but it took me most of the day I had left lmao, it's a little confusing and not everything is extremely obvious, like how to deal with the big man on the bed, or get very special/specific craft items, but hey that's what guides are for lmao, great game with some funny little bits in there, play it if you wanna kill some time and maybe get a laugh
Holy shit, I was wondering when someone would finally bring this underrated gem into the spotlight. This has got to be my favorite fnaf fan game as well, just the idea of the game was brilliant to me, and imo was really outside the box and different, which I love a lot.
hell yeah nate

oh same!! When I first saw Fusion play it I was really hooked on the idea. Sure my personal favorite fangame is the rebooted Treasure Island game but mann this and Circus Baby's Carnival are really underrated
It’s honestly heartwarming seeing Scott’s earlier works get recognition in the community
Honestly, Those Nights At Fredbears is really good, It's a very underrated game, TNAF Is one of the only good free-roam fnaf games, and one of the only fnaf games that actually scared me.

I remember Dawko playing this game and never finishing it, it was really interesting to me and was kinda sad that he just left it uncompleted.
because the grind is horrible and I'm surprised this video barely mentions it. It's so bad that most youtubers just hack in the items.
This game was absolutely phenomenal, some of the 2D areas had me stuck but the night sections could not be done better and its saddening it isn't talked about more than it should be, i don't remember the creators name but he is one of my top candidates if there is another fazbear fanverse

Never forget: Jim Sterling is the one responsible for making Scott be driven to create FNAF
JIM STERLING????!????
He Also took part in the uncalled for canceling of Scott Cawthon. What an absolute prick
He’s also one of the twats who tried to cancel him
Jim sterling hates Scott
@@williammurrell705 OH well that makes his partaking in the disgusting cancel movement even more disgusting.
It was pre-meditated

But it was indeed correct criticism, since it actually helped Scott play to his strengths and use that creepy visuals he unintentionally made into an actually fully fledged horror game.
Criticism.

There is DESTRUCTIVE criticism
You can share your perspective and opinion
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion
But one should not force their opinions on others or as law or fact
As well one can share their opinion without attacking or being toxic and or negative
I'll provide Examples for context
-"your games visuals reminds me of animatronics which kind of scare me. All positive, healthy, respectful, consenting, and good for growth.)
-"your game is bad and your visuals are bad. Make it better."
(Disrespectfully sharing opinion. Criticism is negative/toxic, does not add or contribute to anything or anyone but instead only attacks the person and demands by assertiveness without providing reasons why or how they can make it better.)

that ending is insane. thank you for getting me interested in this amazing game. I love youtubers like you who just like to make people happy and make sure not to spoil an ending of a game you are reviewing even though it may be important to the review.
I remember seeing gameplay of this a long time ago and thinking how this doesn’t have more attention that it should have. It’s an amazing game
It warms my heart to know that these fan games are fully supported by Scott himself.
Wow I’ve never even heard of this game!
I wish more people would do play throughs of it
I think about this fangame all the time and people rarely talk about it. Thank you for covering it here! I enjoy your content a lot!
yeah, i like people noticing underrated things
I remember playing Chipper and son's lumber co. When I was younger I remember liking it.

I once made a fangame tier list, and this was fr, no cap, at the top, i freaking love this fangame.
I remember Dawko and FusionZgamer playing this game and I loved watching it. It should really be talked about more

Tyke and Sons is indeed pretty nice
I actually had a script written up about how this was my favorite fnaf fangame, and I 100% agree with everything you said here. Great video.
I always felt like no one was talking about how good Tyke + Sons was, glad to see a video on it!
My greatest respect to this game’s creator is the fact that they don’t display the highlight of their game on the title screen. Meaning it’s a gift given surprise to the deepest fans of Scott Cawthon.
What a pleasant surprise for the thousand of them.
The night sections are not the highlight, lmao, they are littarily 8 minutes long, this is not a fnaf fan game, it's a homage to chippers and sons.
this has always been one of my favourite fnaf fan games and i just wished people would recognise more often

I totally agree on the fact that the first big fan games are getting all of the attention while newer ones get pretty much nothing, if only it happened only with fnaf, sadly this a very common issue.

wow i remember watching tyke & sons and loving the playthrough and then being surprised that it got kinda forgotten; glad its being recognized again
Mixlas being the developer of Tyke and Sons and baby's nightmare circus definitely needs to get a certificate for having the most underrated games and seeing how good the developer will most likely make a 3rd game. I also really love how Tyke and Sons is related to fnaf 6 gameplay.
He had 3rd one before your commentary.
I actually remember playing “Baby’s Nightmare Circus” and it was the most fun / terrifying FNaF Fan Game I played at the time
that is a pretty freaky one
I played this game a few months back. As a chipper & sons fan seeing stuff like this really makes me happy.
I also may or may not have cheated a little bit to get materials quicker 👀
The smallest problem with this game is that some of the objectives you have to complete are really vague and might be difficult for people who are trying to complete the game without searching anything up. But thats literally the only problem i have and the game is absolutely amazing so i can't really complain.
What incredible effort for a fan game. 10 hours of gameplay and that still isn't everything? Fantastic. I really hope this gets more attention.
Funnily enough, I was just playing this and Dormitabis the other day and wondering why these two terrific fangames were forgotten
I swear the background music was so nostalgic it hit like a train, like it wasn't even toooo long ago but still... damn.
I 100% agree, this fan game was just so fun to play, and there's so much stuff, and they're all great.
This video was just amazing, I really hope to see more type of content like this. Also this channel is extremely under rated for the content that it gives, I got that type of feeling like when you finish a movie, you saw everything that you wanted to see but still want more. Much love dude, keep it up!
I liked this game a lot it felt different from the usual fnaf and just throws one of Scott's forgotten creations at your face with boss fights, nostalgic mechanics
And also a tie in with chipper and Sons story
every single time I'm reminded of this game I would re-watch some gameplay from UA-cam
Did I forget to mention this game was a decision made in the bathroom
I like how this is basically a fan version of Pizzeria Simulator
8:54,how the hell am I laughing
You're not the only one laughing
Idk either
Wasnt expecting this game to be brought up recently, but im glad your giving it more light! While tedious at times, its got charm, and lots of character!
The way Mixlas blends the Chipper and sons-esc sections
with the more fnaf4-esc Sections is fairly emblematic of how the Tycoon section and the “Night phase” of Pizzeria sim are linked.
I just thought that was neat, and that this game really makes an effort to keep in with that Scott Cawthon’s style with bushels of creative flair from Mixlas’ own cranium big brainium.
I’m so thankful for these beavers. They are the reasons why fnaf is a thing
Bro FusionZgamer did play this game and still occasionally posts about it. So hes not lackin on sharing about this game! Some people just dont like the parts of innocence some ppl just watch these videos for the creepy fnaf parts of the game but i loved both sides of the game its just so huge so much content!
I love how Nightmare Chipper's nickname is *KILLTIMBER!*
Badass...

@MarcyWuYT FNAF pizzeria sim isn't a fan game. It's the 6th mainline game by Scott. Assuming you meant Pizzeria Sim when you said "FNAF sim".
@MarcyWuYT the game is not hard and the story is trash but not confusing
chipper and sons also deserves more recognition the OST and the visuals feel like a nostalgic early pc game its really relaxing
I especially like Night 5 since you can still hear the party that has been hosted outside in your house
I absolutely LOVE this! It's a very interesting concept, and it definitely seems fun! I think I might consider playing it myself! :D
