My favorite part about Dark Springtrap is that for some reason, Funko decided to give him ACTUAL LORE, with a zero-canon-supported blurb about him being a form that Springtrap assumes when enraged. Scott confirmed that bio wasn’t canon, but I still love the fact that at least one person involved with this series apparently said “You know what we need? Super Saiyan Springtrap.”
Here's a fact that relates to Mad Endo & Overclock: A lot of the final bosses in FNaF World use the same model as an earlier boss, but just have a different name and stronger attacks. Every section of FNaF World up until Pinwheel Circus with a boss does this. Except the first boss Auto Chipper. My guess for why that's the case is because Chippers Revenge is hidden elsewhere in the map.
To my memory, the other instances like Overclock are Snowcone (Bouncer clone) and Supergoon (Seagoon clone) And a fun fact that's not about a canon game but I do like is in the fangame FNaF World Simulator these 3 clone bosses got a somewhat unique design, Overclock gets a different eye colour, Snowcone gets a pink hat instead of blue and Supergoon is a brighter blue
i think it's very funny that people consider "dark springtrap" to be a thing. that is literally just springtrap. it is the exact same guy. just because hes all burned doesnt mean hes a separate character
Nightmare endoskeleton is an incredibly obscure character. It was only an Easter egg in help wanted and wasn’t referenced in the relatively few FNaF games that came out after it
I know someone probably already brought this up, but if anyone is curious about bonnie cookie, cookie textures are used to mask light sources, only allowing light through the white area. It's commonly what you see used on flash lights in a lot of games
I still say that Adventure Endo 01 is super obscure. He was built up for UCN and taken out of the picture just as fast with no reason why. Maybe not super unknown of a character, but mysterious for sure
Heyo, toy nerd here for a friendly correction: That orange springtrap figure was indeed a prototype. Prototypes are always brought to toy fairs; it’s unlikely a sample of the final product would ever be brought to a toy fair unless it was about to/already had been released. As someone who has some experience over-analyzing the FNaF World bosses, I can confirm that the only major differences between Mad Endo and Overclock are the attack patterns, with Overclock being faster and more aggressive. Best guess as to why Scott didn't make recolors for that set of bosses is likely because of both limitations Clickteam had/still has with loading objects that use so many animations, as well as already having put both the Overworld and Battle components in the exact same frame.
Kinda sad how Overclock is just a reused sprite while at least Snowcone and Supergoon are slightly different and can at least tell the difference(Snowcone has a pink hat instead of Blue and Supergood is a greenish teal instead of blue)
Overclock definitely seems to move faster in your comparison, though that could be due to differences between the two captures if they weren't done by the same software, and compounded by the fact the animations are not synced in the video
Bonnie Cookie actually caused me a lot of pain because I tried to make a video on him on my main account, I legitimately searched everything, Reddit, wikis, UA-cam, general search, and even looking around on Twitter and the Ultra Custom Night Discord itself, but I legitimately found nothing else but saying that he's an unused texture in FNAF VR and that's it, no reason why he exist, no real possible explanation of what he was used for, nothing, and that is why he's the most obscure fnaf character in my eyes, even if he barely counts as one like you said.
He was probably just an old texture used for testing Bonnie’s model, but was never supposed to be used in the final game because he was just for early development purposes. SteelWool probably forgot to remove his file. Perhaps he was just a placeholder texture

So here's my personal oppion on Dark Springtrap. I believe "Dark" Springtrap is "Dark" Because this is the way he looks after the fire at Fazbear Frights, being just a little bit burnt. He most likely also lost a few part after the damage done by the fire, he was also coming to the point of knowing he would need a new body at some point because he was literally falling apart (which he would become Scraptrap). I honestly think that Scott already had the idea of Springtrap becoming Scraptrap at this point.
I actually remembered overclock. I always remembered there being multiple uses of the eyesore, bouncer and mad endo models. Didn’t remember their names though.
Bouncer had a clone named Snowcone, and Eyesore is just encountered several times I think, and is still named Eyesore each time And then Seagoon has a clone named Supergoon
@@JodiGeo Yeah I'm aware Was just commenting on Eyesore because he does in fact not have a clone boss because it's all Eyesore While Seagoon does have a clone named Supergoon, while also appearing several times as Seagoon
I think the only reason I remembered Overclock was that the name stuck out to me. Someone else commented that there were apparently equivalents for the snowman and octopus bosses as well, but their names (Snowcone and Supergoon) are super generic. Meanwhile, "Overclock" sticks out like a sore thumb relative to its cousins Mad Endo and Gold Endo. Interesting.
idk if it counts as "obscure", for obvious reasons.... BUT!!! Security Breach has unused models , those being Frozen Endo, Alien Bot, Magician Bot and Comedian Bot
Fun fact apparently In security breach every time you loud up the game there was a chance that if you saw a moondrop plush it might jumpcsare you but it was scrapped and I find that obscure
Nightmare Endo from FNAF: VR is also pretty obscure. He appears bellow the platform the player stands on in Ennard’s vent repair, and when the light hits him, he immediately leaves. His model can be viewed in the gallery.
Here’s a few obscure characters: Beta Nightmare Fredbear (Nightmare Fredbear with Nightmare Freddy texture), Teaser image Nightmare (I just call him that, it’s Nightmare but opaque and the yellow attire is now purple), Golden Cupcake, Foxy.exe and Nightmare Plush (the reason I bring him up is because Funko once made a Fredbear plush figure who’s model was stolen from an artist, this artist also made a Nightmare Plush model, so I consider him a character)
Couple speculations on my part : Security from Fnaf World Halloween Edition looks very similar to Sec-Strings, the night guard you play as in Popgoes, as a night guard, they are a security bot too in a way. obviously Security can't be a reference to Sec-Strings because Popgoes came out later, but maybe it's Sec-Strings who is a reference to Security. It's widely speculated that Party Hat A and B in Fnaf World Halloween Edition are a reference to the Party Hats ennemies in Five Nights at F**kboy's, mainly because the party hats in this game are ranked with greek letters, so there are party hats alpha and beta, standing for A and B, also that would make sense, since Five Nights at F**kboy's is a RPG, so it's not too far fetched too think that Scott referenced it when he made a Fnaf RPG himself

How is overclock considered an obscure character? He is literally one of the guardians you need to defeat for two endings, and those two endings are usually the ones people get first when playing the game for the first time
Toy Proxy is an unused model found in the files of fnaf vr help wanted. It was most likely used as a placeholder for the Plushtrap section. It will go through the Duct System, and is not affected by the Audio Lure or the Heater. The only way to prevent it from getting in the office is closing the duct it is going to. If it gets in, it will create loud noises for the rest of the night. But big toy proxy on the other hand is an enlarged version of Toy Proxy found in the files of . It was most likely used as a placeholder in the Night Terror sections. He will walk through the Duct System and will follow the Audio Lure. He cannot kill you by himself. Whenever he hits a wall, he will leave a large indent in it, which allows other characters to traverse towards you faster. fun fact: He appeared in the fnaf wiki. these characters are 100% real! edit: i found these two characters in the ultra custom night wiki
3:14 I noticed something about the character, "Security". Someone parts of his design, (mainly the Torso and Legs), eerily resemble Circus Baby from Sister Location. Also, the red orb on his chest could have also hinted at the cavities inside Circus Baby and Funtime Freddy. (Again, probably overthinking it, but still fun to point out😅)
Similar to Overclock there are two other bosses in FNaF World that share another bosses sprites, those being Supergoon who shares sprites with Seagoon, and Snowcone who shares sprites with Bouncer
Beta Endo 01, he only appeared in the steam greenlight page of FNAF 1 and that’s all we get he was a early Verison of Endo 01 and I guess planned to be a another animatronic tried to kill you he was so obscure though
Bonnie cookie is the only new one to me, also it's not just overclock, all of the lock key bosses are just reuse models of earlier bosses. Also I could have swore there was a party hat C but that might be false memory. Here's a recommendation the dancing Shadow thing from FNAF world in the dusting fields by the entrance of the mysterious Minds
In Sister location there's a bunch of cutscenes where you watch "the immortal and the restless". I think a really obscure character from that would be the black cat that shows up in like 1 frame of the entire show
Honestly, it's not super obscure, but Chica's Rainbow (if that's what its called) is only in FNaF world like, twice overall. I never really see anyone mention it, but that might be because of how much pain the thing caused. Not only is it one of the hardest bosses in-game, but its appearance in the spin-off will quite literally trash talk you if you're bad enough (which, most people are in their eyes). I don't see many people mention FNaF World in general, but the Rainbow is one I almost never see anywhere. Also, it seems like Nightmare Mangle doesn't get much love either. They only appear on Halloween, but honestly they make surviving the night THAT much harder. The constant static sounds from the closet make it difficult to hear footsteps, and even harder to hear breathing at the doors. Not to mention they also serve a similar role as Nightmare Foxy on top of being a nuisance.
Here's one of you ever do this again: zombie Springtrap. I believe he was a mymoji stocker on quidd, and is considered lost media Another "character" is this little doodle of a superhero called math man in the guide books. He is really only there since they make some joke about math being scary after explaining how power works in fnaf 1. He also appears in the fnaf 3 section
I actually never knew that Mad Endo and over Overclock we’re separate boss bottles I just kind of thought that Overclock was renamed in Mad Endo kinda like what happened to snowcone who was later renamed in to bouncer
Here’s a truly obscure one, possibly even more than Bonnie Cookie. I already commented this in the community post but you forgot. His name is Nightmare Springtrap (and no I’m not saying Plushtrap). His only ever appearance if I remember correctly was himself as a mymoji in concept art and nothing else ever. Be sure to include it in Part 2!
Can’t believe I never knew of the Halloween decorations in the first 3 games. Seems super basic but never heard of it, thanks for teaching me something new.
I think a highly forgotten character would be Alien bot. It's an unused model in FNAF: Security Breach that is just a green STAFF bot with an alien face and a helmet. My guess is that it was an unused design for the STAFF bots in Fazer Blast (idk much about fazer blast cuz i havent gotten to that point in sb yet), and I think this one looks way better than the final ones. I'm pretty sure the final ones are just the normal STAFF bots with an alien helmet on.
I know I’m forever late to these comments but 10:26 “Cookie” Bonny might refer to to a cookie in film lighting. These are used to give lights shadows depending on the shape of a cut-out. My guess is that this is actually just an Alpha(black&white) render of Bonny, used at some point to cast a Bonny shadow on some surface. I could be wrong though~
Foxy, you can’t even hear his footsteps most of the time if you’re not on the camera making an instant game over and makes a lot of people mad even though he’s one of my favorites and a fan favorite A lot of people still hate him
Here's a few obscure book characters A weird bird animatronic mentioned once in The Puppet Carver A dog animatronic that Mindy and Cindy are reprogramming Baron Von Bear
One character I think is forgotten is pan stand. He for some reason wasn’t in ucn but every other trash and the gang member was in it and he’s in only one other game which is ffps but he just sits there on stage. That’s why I think he’s forgotten
What the Easter Bonnie skins, what I mean is that there actually three version of this Fnaf ar skin, each one of them having different colored eyes, green, blue, and red
The Party Hats are actually a reference to the first big fnaf fan game ever (To my knowledge). Five nights at F boys which was a rp featuring party hats as the main enemy.
Here's one from FNaF World: Body-Less Fredbear(Universe Ending, or something named like that) and if we want to get into specifics then also the Fredbear right before that wich has flashing lights as eyes
I’m confused as to why overclock was featured here because they’re a required boss fight if you want to fight security and Scott. And he’s not the only guardian to have a reused model and textures, the other two being snowcone (a reuse of the bouncer model and textures) and super goon (a reuse of the sea goon model and textures)
What about that the UA-camr cameos in Freddy in space? And to be honest matpat is basically a fnaf character at this point. Especially that one video when he was acting all creepy in the intro. He’s part of fnaf history.
Security’s original design is much better imo, it really sells the idea of FNAF World being a metaphor for the animatronic’s perspective, intentional or not.
Haven’t seen the other videos so excuse me if this was already included but there is another version of Bonnie in fnaf vr. They appear in the Funtime foxy section and if you run into Bonnie there is a chance that you get a jump scare with glitched textures that people consider a different character. Very rare, I’ve never even seen video of it but have been able to get it myself a few times.
Great video, I think a video on the original FNaF teasers on Scottgames would be awesome!

And Nightmare Mangle got to UCN instead of Nightmare Foxy.
5:12 That's my comment! Thank you for including me in the video! :D
Nice
Here's one of you ever do this again: zombie Springtrap. I believe he was a mymoji stocker on quidd, and is considered lost media
Another "character" is this little doodle of a superhero called math man in the guide books. He is really only there since they make some joke about math being scary after explaining how power works in fnaf 1. He also appears in the fnaf 3 section
I actually never knew that Mad Endo and over Overclock we’re separate boss bottles
I just kind of thought that Overclock was renamed in Mad Endo kinda like what happened to snowcone who was later renamed in to bouncer
Snowcone and bouncer are also different bosses.
@@jva4338 really?
Here’s a truly obscure one, possibly even more than Bonnie Cookie. I already commented this in the community post but you forgot. His name is Nightmare Springtrap (and no I’m not saying Plushtrap). His only ever appearance if I remember correctly was himself as a mymoji in concept art and nothing else ever. Be sure to include it in Part 2!
Don't forget about Withered BB which was a fan character that was turned into a Keychain (probably without the original creator's permission)
Wait
There is a Withered BB? I didn't know that before!
@@johnathanegbert9277 which is fan made but if you were in the community back in the day you’d know I’d be talking about
7:12 hey don't bully him.
9:00 Isn't overclock just an overclocked version of mad endo? Which is MAD ENDO but stronger
Foxy, you can’t even hear his footsteps most of the time if you’re not on the camera making an instant game over and makes a lot of people mad even though he’s one of my favorites and a fan favorite A lot of people still hate him
obscure =/= most hated.
honestly my favorite obscure character is Freddy. He's just so lovable
honestly happy frog MIGHT be a somewhat forgotten character, almost nobody mentions her anymore
Nah man, she’s just hiding with her ninja skills
4:35 But he looks high on some of that... good shlt.
If we include Orange Springtrap ,we gota say Right Handed Lefty is the most obscure
I won't lie, I stan Overlock so hard. I don't know why, but I just think he's way cooler than Mad Endo.
So true
Here's a few obscure book characters
A weird bird animatronic mentioned once in The Puppet Carver
A dog animatronic that Mindy and Cindy are reprogramming
Baron Von Bear
6:22 Cheeto Springtrap
Now we’ve got CheetoTrap and CheeseTrap
One character I think is forgotten is pan stand. He for some reason wasn’t in ucn but every other trash and the gang member was in it and he’s in only one other game which is ffps but he just sits there on stage. That’s why I think he’s forgotten
Is it just me or is this the best fnaf youtuber
I think Shadow Freddy is Cassidy. Just a thought.
I had that idea once
I personally love Yenndo, he is cool
Me too but he’s in like my top 20 favourite characters and not my top 10 favourite characters
Idk why, but whenever i see yenndo i hear Luigi saying "Yenndo; *pop it noises *"
@@idrinksinkwater7602 what?
But yenndo is cool still
@@idrinksinkwater7602 but what do you mean by the thing with Luigi?
What the Easter Bonnie skins, what I mean is that there actually three version of this Fnaf ar skin, each one of them having different colored eyes, green, blue, and red
9:43
Then what would the other two be
Snow cone and that weird squid thing
I think Freddy Fazbear is by far one of the most forgotten ones, he only appears in a couple games deep in the darkness
Cool. Like these vids.
I'm just now noticing this. Thank you for the donation!
my theory is that mad endo and overclock are same endos that try to guard the place so it maybe might explain why they same
3:16 this aged like shit
Nightmare endo is obscured, he is only ever seen in the enemy showing area in vr
0:03 Because Springtrap is so obscure
That’s a different version of springtrap not many people know.
that is actually "Dark Springtrap"
Which is apparently different.
There are some obscure characters in the FNAF 3 minigames:
Shadow Puppet
Shadow Balloon Boy
(yes, these are real characters)
6:49 cheese trap
No its cheetotrap
Theres this animatronic not in the fnaf universe but it had its own game and cameo in fnaf world and its the teapot from desolate hope
3:36 Was that german?
Purplegeist is a portmanteau of "Purple guy" and "poltergeist", the latter of which I do believe originates from German
Phantom Freddy is my favorite Fnaf character, he is probably one of if not the least forgotten Phantom Animatronic!
Plot twist: overclock is just mad endo, but overclocking
Five Nights at Sonics World looks way more like FNaF World Halloween Edition then the full game.
Ultra Custom Night made me not forget any of these characters expect for Evil Endo and Orange Springtrap.
I’d consider Dark Springtrap the most obscure, but they are so known for being obsolete that they are become pretty well-known.
The Overclock and Mad Endo situation reminded me of the exact same situation with 2 other bosses. Namely, Bouncer and Snowcone
Beacon Bonnie is an Easter egg see through version of Bonnie that’s only in help wanted but I don’t remember how to find him :)
Sparky The Dog And XOR AND The Thing In Ultra Custom Night That Appears When You Scroll All The Way Down And It Scares Me
i didnt even know about fnaf world halloween edition until now
Security’s original design is much better imo, it really sells the idea of FNAF World being a metaphor for the animatronic’s perspective, intentional or not.
Virtua freddy is most definitely forgotten its in fnaf world and no one talks about it.
The fact that I was trying to fix my Funtime Foxy’s tail on my mystery mini while you were saying the mystery mini felt too unfathomable lol
Beacon Bonnie
