Opening scene of the Herb Abrams biopic would be a Birds Eye close up of two blood shot eyes and it slowly zooms out as we see the scene of Herb dead, coke and grease everywhere. His cowboy boots still on and thru voice over we hear “ Ever since I could remember I always wanted to be a wrestling promoter” then the fiends face come back alive and he smiles to the camera, insert title and then flashback to him selling dresses for plus size women.
History of things Vince put up with Egged on Bret and Shawn’s rivalry backstage which led to fights Shawn yelling at him nonstop despite being the 2nd word drawing champion in that era Let himself get punched to even things up with Bret Let the Kliq take a dump on his dining room table with the curtain call Let his upper card guys take shits in lower card guys bags if they didn’t like them, perc other wrestlers up on flights, watched as all of his top talent almost OD’d on pills and cocaine, let his top talent literally say they were going to get Vince to STARVE TALENTS and not get them booked because they got their feelings hurt, let his wrestlers fake injuries so they could relinquish titles instead of dropping them in the ring (just so one of their friends could get the gold) and that’s just the 90s. Nothing Punk has ever done compares to any of the bullshit people pulled in the 90’s. Nash himself punched Roddy Piper in his late 30’s and slapped Samoa Joe 3 times because he did a promo on he and Scott, Nash was 50 at the time and got zero of the mental health help he claims Punk needed, cried because WWE writers wouldn’t provide him with lines good enough to compete with Punk in their “great feud“ Complained that Drew and Sheamus hit too hard for him and made them look bad to the guy who signs their checks Said in interviews drunk on wine that no wrestlers looked like a man, they all looked soft, and said they had zero stars in WWE not named Randy or Cena. It’s easy to judge someone from the outside perspective in your glass house if you ignore your own issues in the past, he doesn’t need mental help and you didn’t either. People are allowed to be pissed off if someone is taking shots at you on TV because when you get backstage it gives the impression they Son’d you in front of the boys. If someone took a shot at Kevin when he had the book in WCW they’d have been fired or Nash would’ve been waiting outside the lockerroom ready for a fight.
The simple fact here guys is. These old timers in congress etc...Don't want to leave because they will be giving up all of there "perks" once they are out of there positions. I believe i read somewhere they get free healthcare among other similar perks. So that is why they stay until the bitter end and then some. And it's ridiculous.
I LOVE Kevin Nash. Absolutely LOVE HIM. Have since he made me the biggest Diesel mark in 1993. I wish that more people would recognize that they don’t have all the details before heavily criticizing CM Punk and his mental health. Nash should know that the ‘reports’ that the shit sheets detail are almost always wrong and never fully fleshed out with accurate details. Shouldn’t one of the boys be the first to realize this and recognize that they don’t have the full story? It just makes me wonder why Nash doesn’t recognize that there’s multiple sides to each story. If Punk is actively lashing out at everyone without provocation, and is this monster as depicted by Meltzer then yes I’d say maybe there’s something to his mental health that needs addressing, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. And Nash is believing DAVE MELTZER??? Nash - please humor me for 2 minutes and just imagine being in this scenario in 1995 - can you imagine if at WrestleMania XI Phineas Godwin looked into the camera during the FREE FOR ALL and said, “Diesel Power? What a joke!” And imagine this came after A YEAR worth of Savio Vega, Henry Godwin, Fatu (Jr.) and others making up stories, “leaking” falsehoods to Meltzer trying to smear Kevin Nash. Imagine BSK busted into the locker room after Nash had just been injured (in May of ‘95 with the elbow deal, or after the torn quad on RAW in ‘02) and Vince did nothing about it. Imagine Mabel NOT getting any heat for injuring your back at SummerSlam ‘95 and Diesel then being told to drop the belt to Pierre Ouellette at Survivor Series ‘95. Then let’s say Dean Douglas comes out on RAW and tells the crowd that Nash tried to get Bam Bam Bigelow fired and how Nash refused to accept a challenge from the Ultimate Warrior. “Fans could’ve been treated to Diesel vs. The Ultimate Warrior, but NOOOO, because Kevin Nash said so…” Imagine not just ONE of those scenarios happening, but ALL of them happening. Week after week. Month after month, without any repercussions or accountability. Can you not see how the frustration builds and builds and builds and builds and builds… At a certain point, as THE top talent, don’t you just have to look at TK, throw up your hands and be like, “What the fuck?” That’s exactly the situation Punk was being put in time and time again. And with Jungleboy Jobguy Perry, he had enough. Crazy to me how Nash is believing everything he reads when it comes to CM Punk and the dirt sheets.
I think he has the Connecticut Blueblood in his ear. I've heard that he'd be the one to have a negative view of stories about CM Punk. Vince said he had mental issues too - you can look it up - and he might've gotten the idea from the Blueblood as well.
I don’t see the difference in Punk attacking Perry for talking crap about him and when Nash hit Piper for talking crap about Nash, or when Nash was going to beat one of the Nasty Boys with a bat because he hurt Scott Hall in the ring.
yup. Its the liberal way. These people are infected with mass psychosis. They talk out od both sides of their mouth. Nash makes fun of sting for his bald spot but defends his druggy buddy HBK while shawn looking like a fucking scarecrow for 30 years. @@c.s3369
In regards to power and hurricanes in FLA. I'm native Florida my whole life and now that I'm on my own and live in a country club which has restrictions. I used a combination of solar panels on the roof to compensate during the day and then a whole house generator which runs off of natural gas that is piped in from the city utilities. Yes there is a risk if the city ever stops sending out the gas but it could also be switched over to a portable tank and the solar panels if the sun comes out. Eventually I will get the battery packs to put in the garage as another backup. But to this date even when everybody else is out for days we're still good

If it’s live right now. How did people comment hours ago? I’ve quite enjoyed the podcast. Took me since dec to finally catch up on all of them. The stories are great. 👍
CM Punk's situation has nothing to do with mental health. It's to do with the fact that AEW Collision was presented as his baby and two weeks prior when Jack Perry was told he couldn't use real glass in an angle, he argued with agents and medical staff. They asked CM Punk to talk to him and he flat out told him he didn't want him using real glass on Collision or anywhere else and that it was dangerous (Goldberg knows all about that). Perry then wrestled Taz's son Hook on the ALL IN pre show and there was a moment where he looked directly into the camera and said: "You see this here (pointing to the windshield of a car that he had driven out on stage). REAL GLASS. Go cry me a river!" and it was clearly directed at Punk. The petulant little douchebag literally stewed for 2 weeks because he was told he couldn't play with glass! When he came back through the curtain, Punk was in Gorilla because he was the opening match of the actual pay-per-view against Samoa Joe, and he asked Jack Perry if he had a problem with him. Perry came at Punk and Punk put him in a Face Lock and choked him out. It led to a whole melee. CM Punk however, was the adult in the room here and is probably just sick and tired of the indie amateur hour mentality over at AEW. They have a bunch of young idiots who just don't get that less is more. A veteran like Punk SHOULD rein that in and call out stupidity when he sees it; especially when it's on Saturday nights which Tony Khan basically has said is Punk's show. Jack Perry is the one who should have been fired for disobeying orders, but we all know he's buddies from down in Reseda, California with the goofy Young Bucks and their whole crew of trampoline douchebags; so he was simply suspended. Tony Khan has lost the f*cking plot and Jack Perry is the type of little prick who never heard the word "NO!" growing up. He's every bit the Hollywood brat we'd expect him to be. Meanwhile, CM Punk is the one taking the bullet here and it's bullshit! No wonder he's flipped his lid working in that environment of cosplay wrestlers who don't take veteran advice. It's pathetic. And certain individuals *AHEM* ran just as rampant in WCW. Let's get real here.
Wouldnt pay to have 4-5 20 pound propane tanks out in the garage for a generator. Would it pay to have some solar panels that could be covered in case of weather, but could store up some juice for power. I dont think the basic setup for solar power to a storage would give sticker shock on the price.
About the Punk situation, what Nash said at the start about him needing mental health help is actually kind of in line with what I am thinking, although I'm wondering about if it's possible that Punk has CTE. Because he has always been prickly, he's been open about that, but his rush from calm to confrontation and physicality in 2 seconds over every little thing in the last few years screams brain damage to me, especially if you look into notable guys who have had CTE, they all had issues like big personality changes, rage, rapid mood swings, depression. Something isn't right in his head is what I'm fearing beyond the talk of "He's an asshole".
The problem with excusing athlete behavior with "well he has/had CET" is that lots of people have had issues of that nature without being aggressively violent.
Nobody will say a damn thing to kev because he is a big dude !! And razor was a real life badass , nobody wanna mess with him either . Punker is skinny and small so size matters
Bro, no lie I made myself finish Babylon and I swear I got threw that ending and someone said whatd ya think and literally i said i feel like i just poked my head in on hell, and im kinda afraid this is legit what goes down if you get in deep in hollywood
Yeah, Andy Dufresne had favor, because he was cleaning the Warden's dirty work. So the guards didn't do thorough inspections of his cell. So... I say Believability in Tact!
I love Punk, but I think Nash might be right here. Self-sabotage is a classic trait of a counter-productive mentality. Basically, Punk cannot allow himself to not speak fiercely against something he doesn't believe in, even if silence would grant him greater success and rewards. When his opinion is challenged, he becomes defensive because he has deeply-rooted anxiety or self esteem issues.
My theory on Shawshank Redemption is Andy died whilst he was in solitary, then Morgan Freeman got released and daydreamed about escaping with Andy before hanging himself like the librarian guy. The ending is just too surreal for me to believe it's actually what happened in that world.
CM Punk is a draw, but he is a mess. Perhaps like a mental health thing like Nash mentioned. Punk may be a big draw, but he is older, and there are many more talented wrestlers in AEW
CM Punk has stopped being a draw over a year ago. Just take a look at AEW's ratings if you don't believe. Outside the first couple of episodes with him since there's that whole curiosity factor, the show afterwards started to return back to their normal numbers.
This all falls on Tony Khan. He had a year and half to put an end to the drama surrounding Punk and the Elite and he didn’t. Same thing with Jack Perry, he should’ve stepped in during the whole “use real glass” angle.
It's over for Punk. I am very curious to see what defense his fans can muster though. That's two organisations in which the entire locker room, the top-brass and production crews have come out and said he's toxic AF. Surely it's time for him to retire?
Punk is a locker room cancer. Getting fired on his wedding day and in his hometown. Takes a special POS for that to happen. Now we just gotta wait for AJ Lee to divorce him on his birthday.
If you think Punk is the only problem within that company then you are insane. Tony Khan being the worst promoter in wrestling history and also the pussy clique of the Elite played a big part in a lot of this shit. Confrontations don’t start and end with just Punk
Great Kevin!!Legends ,simpatico e che conosce molto bene gli affari,ed punk hai ragione Kevin ,punk visita psichiatrica immediatamente......non sta bene il boy,..

His cowboy boots still on and thru voice over we hear “ Ever since I could remember I always wanted to be a wrestling promoter” then the fiends face come back alive and he smiles to the camera, insert title and then flashback to him selling dresses for plus size women.
History of things Vince put up with
Egged on Bret and Shawn’s rivalry backstage which led to fights
Shawn yelling at him nonstop despite being the 2nd word drawing champion in that era
Let himself get punched to even things up with Bret
Let the Kliq take a dump on his dining room table with the curtain call
Let his upper card guys take shits in lower card guys bags if they didn’t like them, perc other wrestlers up on flights, watched as all of his top talent almost OD’d on pills and cocaine, let his top talent literally say they were going to get Vince to STARVE TALENTS and not get them booked because they got their feelings hurt, let his wrestlers fake injuries so they could relinquish titles instead of dropping them in the ring (just so one of their friends could get the gold) and that’s just the 90s. Nothing Punk has ever done compares to any of the bullshit people pulled in the 90’s.
Nash himself punched Roddy Piper in his late 30’s and slapped Samoa Joe 3 times because he did a promo on he and Scott, Nash was 50 at the time and got zero of the mental health help he claims Punk needed, cried because WWE writers wouldn’t provide him with lines good enough to compete with Punk in their “great feud“
Complained that Drew and Sheamus hit too hard for him and made them look bad to the guy who signs their checks
Said in interviews drunk on wine that no wrestlers looked like a man, they all looked soft, and said they had zero stars in WWE not named Randy or Cena.
Rotunda was on a whole nother level. He reminds of Raven back in the 90's, but came at the right time. RIP Wyndham
I always thought that too raven could make a character about as good as bray did
Right time? Dude he was booked terribly
The mask was beyond corny
Can you not see how the frustration builds and builds and builds and builds and builds…
At a certain point, as THE top talent, don’t you just have to look at TK, throw up your hands and be like, “What the fuck?” That’s exactly the situation Punk was being put in time and time again.
Hypocrisy at its finest

But to this date even when everybody else is out for days we're still good
He was a problem in ROH as well, quote from Jack Evans to Paul London (who left ROH to WWE at the time but was asking Jack how things were going) “He thinks he’s the Triple H of the indies, Punks the worst.”
That was Jack Evans quote during the early-mid 00s to London during Hunters Raw World title run and CM Punks ROH run.
Yeah because the words of the great Jack Evans matter over the words of people like Cena Rock Undertaker Mysterio Jim Ross Low Ki AJ Styles Danielson Orton and countless others huh

Terry's dad's territory was in Amarillo. And Fritz's was more or less the Dallas area. Terry was asked during a shoot one time if the two were ever going to do a collaborative show. And he had said there was talk about it but it never materialized. Which is a shame.
I had my L5/S1 fused and on heavy medication. Kratom saved my life point blank
At least if punk is done he went out on a good last match
Kinda like HBK huh Big Kev!
Nash is like a prophet here. Punk has to be let go. A week later it is just as Nash says . . . The mental health insight is spot on as well.
CM Punk needs to go to NWA and we’ll see if he’s a draw. I bet Billy Cougar would give him the book.

Um... at what point did he actually talk about CM Punk being fired? Maybe I missed that
1:15:48: CM Punk could definitely use some therapy. He had the best pro-wrestling contract he's ever had in his life, in making more money than even in WWE, with creative control, and he's still very bent out of shape.
How much are the Blu chews? Is it any cheaper than the pharmacy?

Kev is the first person that I have agreed with on this whole Punk situation as far as mental health goes. In the same breath, could we also compare it to Kevin's backstage situation with Joe working himself into a shoot? What are your guys's thoughts?

I played for the LNBP League in Mexico in 2003.
Wouldnt pay to have 4-5 20 pound propane tanks out in the garage for a generator. Would it pay to have some solar panels that could be covered in case of weather, but could store up some juice for power. I dont think the basic setup for solar power to a storage would give sticker shock on the price.
Glen been very good since being elected. Very impressed hes such a smart guy
That's far-fetched
The problem with excusing athlete behavior with "well he has/had CET" is that lots of people have had issues of that nature without being aggressively violent.
1:17:49 This right here is why Punk had to go. When shitty behavior is repeatedly excused, you're going to see others start acting out, too.
I knew someone would have come through with the exact same time of the punk talking point. Thanks 👍🏽

Yeah, Andy Dufresne had favor, because he was cleaning the Warden's dirty work. So the guards didn't do thorough inspections of his cell. So... I say Believability in Tact!
"A greased-up Herb Abrams" There is no way to use that in a sentence that isn't hilarious.
It s also called having respect for yourself. Not conforming. Being a maverick. Qualities that were once respected in individuals.
Was Sean the detective from "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Speaking of Morgan Freeman I watched Bucket List a little while ago n it's still as good as the first time I seen it
My theory on Shawshank Redemption is Andy died whilst he was in solitary, then Morgan Freeman got released and daydreamed about escaping with Andy before hanging himself like the librarian guy.

There are the Indy wrestling have in the locker room don't want him either. Some of them worked with him before.
