The only microphone that works with mine is the one that came with it?
A helpful clip; thanks for making it. I want to transfer files from the recorder to my PC and vice versa via a USB cable. My computer does not recognize this device. Has anybody figured out a way to transfer files via USB?

The recording line on-screen is hard to see. ( to check its recording )....should be coloured attention-getting red, as is the rec.button.... a design flaw. Very good presentation!

A: On your computer you can fast forward or reverse the recording, once you load it up. You cannot on the recorder itself.

This is good for basic voice recording, but terrible for line output music recording (eg from vinyl player). Containers look fine (WAV etc) but DAC must be cheapest of the cheap because the results sound awful.
Excellent review. Using since few days but facing difficulty during saving files from PC to recorder with cut and paste. PC show all files but in recorder not displayed and not playing. Any advise in this direction will be appreciated.

Hi, and thank you for the video/ replying to all the questions. I am having a difficult time getting the recorder to connect to my Apple. I do have the manual and the paragraph didn't help, so far. Would you mind passing along any learned wisdom?

I am a minister. This recorder has been great for recording sermons. But after using it for about six months with no problems, I am now not able to upload from the recorder to my computer. When I plug it into the computer and the pop up come up it almost immediately closes. The screen on the recorder goes from upload mode to sleep mode almost as soon as the autoplay pop up comes up. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?
My new one won't connect USB to my laptop. It just charges,
but won't "connect" for file transfer :-( That's all it will do. Also, I don't believe this records in stereo. The L & R indicators beside the top microphone-looking parts are a joke. The manual clearly indicates the "internal microphone" is in fact the speaker. ie. mono. I did a recording test scratching by the L & R markings, then listened to a playback with headphones...definitely mono.

Good review yes.Just this is one of the worst voice recorder ever.If you can buy a better quality voice recorder not this one
Wonder if you would please tell me ( odd question) When you first turn on the power can you just press PLAY and without scrolling or touching any other buttons will it start playing? I'm looking to record just one thing on it and want to be able to just turn in on and press one button to play it. Can that be done. Thanks much.

Is there anyway to reduce the recording level on voice, it seems pretty high....Fred.
Not that I am are of. Maybe move the mic further away. What if you adjust the level through a program on your computer.
Well if you put it in Audacity its very high, you can reduce it, but it just sounds quieter but still over recorded if you understand what i mean....i will have to have it further way i guess...have you ever tried adjusting the volume control to see if it effects the recording level? Fred.

Click the bottom button on right till you get to setting mode. Then press top right button. Then scroll down to record type. You will see the option in there.
How do I fast forward without having to start from the beginning?

my recorder has a fucking disk error after 35 recordings. and the only way to format the disk is to erase all the recordings so now its useless
Ah man. Sorry to hear that. For future recommendation, back the files up onto your computer.
You've got everything listed on this except the name and model of the damned phone.
Don't buy this crap, mine failed after using twice. Sound is good but software is flawed !
