I bought a Dictopro X100 to use at my Dr.'s Office. I am 88 years old and a little slow at catching all the finger movement. you do. Could you talk thru a process like, turning it on, recording, listen to the recording, save, or delete. If I can get that in the proper order it would be a great help.
It's been so long since I have used it and I'm not sure how it would do in a car. Here is a recorder that are reviewing it might want to check out. ua-cam.com/video/y-hAy1AIs4I/v-deo.html
@@SidsTips Thanks for the quick reply, as the mini cassette recorder I've been using for years died, which had great recoding even in noisy surroundings. Trying to find something to replace it.
Very good coverage, but a little fast on explaining some key features and how to use them or turn them off. Great coverage on some features consumers complain about not being able to access such as file delete and the battery saver turn time, even when looking in the manual or pulling their hair out complaining about a high difficulty of contacting some kind of competent customer support or even customer support. Very helpful video. If only more people purchasing this product could see this.
Do you know of any handheld recorders that are voice activated with pre and post roll options, say 2 seconds before and after voice activation? Thank you.
I'm in the market for a device like this and this is the second video I watched on this model because I wanted to know what the red and green on the very top of the device is?
You can get more info here: amzn.to/2YghNsU -EASILY TRANSFER FILES TO MAC OR PC - Just connect the recorder to your computer using the supplied USB cable and drag the files over to your PC. It is really that simple!

I want to know how to open the housing
-the "up/down" button is "all smashed in"
Anyone have info on how to determine it is fully charged? (not via the small icon...) - does the machine shut-off or what? I've searched the booklets.

How good is it at recording, in let's say a car, where there is a lot of noise?

Only used mine once but can’t find any help as to why once I recorded things all it will do is come on?
What if my up/down button broke and fell into the device. Any way to function the buttons manually?
Not sure. It's been a while since I used it. I would imagine you would need those buttons.

Thanks!! Hope people will find my video.
Can the battery saver feature be turned off or be extended past what I guess is the default 2 minutes?
@@cryptonite58 I need to go back to the unit. I am trying to remember. I recall you can extend the time.
SidsTips can I plug it into my car’s USB port and listen to the recordings via car speakers?
You should be able to if you have then AUX connector.
How do I fast forward or rewind the record I am listening to?
Thank you!

Red in line in.. for external mic or other device and the green is for headphones.
@@SidsTips Ok cool thank you for letting me know. I believe this is the one I'm going to get thank you.
@@coryjeffreys5146 you bet.
So can you use a Lav mic on this device?
I don't believe so.
How do you download music onto it? I have searched for any information about the music section and find nothing.

idk maybe i missed it but is it voice activated, like it starts recording when it hears a voice and it stops when it stops hearing a voice?
Yes, it is supposed to do that.
Can you name your file as in a title?
I don't recall as it was a while ago, but you should be able to on your computer. You can check out the specs and info at: amzn.to/2YghNsU
